We were nowhere near as fluent as usual. As Nunn has said after the match, a lot of work to do, we weren’t at the races today, Brilliant goal by Ruben. I’m sure he will sort it all out. Everton deserved their draw. To slow, no composure in front of goal too many passes went astray, onwards and upwards, 😁.

This is Everton we were playing they are a solid Premier team who have spent a lot in the close season too better than anyone we played last season so a draw is acceptable even if we think we should walk this division well we won't but we can still do well.

Good point against a decent Everton it's first game to slow what the hell do some of you want many teams will play Everton this season and be put to the sword we were wasn't at our best ( 1st game ) but still got a point rubbish lads I'd take 37 more draws if offered them now.

If we put as much effort in passing the ball forward as we do passing backwards we would be world betters. Bennet can only pass backwards and Docherty still cannot pass a ball. the sooner we get Dondonker and Traore playing the batter. Does anyone know why Cavelero was not on the bench? .

Baza. Football isn’t about “passing it forwards”. I’m fed up of people moaning and saying get it forward stop passing sideways. Nuno plays a style of play that when we are in possession we are calm and slow and then when spaces appear then get a through ball in.
Did you not see Bennett’s pass for Jimenez chance? A great FORWARD through ball Neves would have been proud of. Get a grip. Tough opposition who finished 8th last season with some quality players. We didn’t look out of place and on another day could have won.

No dapper not our best game (just because it's the first game) do you lot think Everton played better than us? Did they play us off the park? Did we do ourselves proud? Have we still got players to come in and make us better?

A good point against a top side. We may have looked a bit nervous and played it back at times, but it's our first game and we didn't look out of our depth in this league which was important. Everton will be top 7 this year, so a great start. onwards and upwards.

I think it was a very good point against a very good Everton side they will finish in the top six they have 3or4 new signings to come in I did think it was a sending off we could have got forward a bit more I got a bit frustrated with jota and Costa got the and ran into defenders with it when other players were in space.

Everton look a very good side, possibly top six and they have played in this league continuously for a long time. A draw at home was a decent result for us on reflection. The sending off looked 50/ 50 based on contact alone but it was also denial of a goal scoring opportunity, therefore definitely red.

Was a good game.

Ok there were cobwebs.

There was rustiness.

There were some naughty tactics by Everton with them doing little fouls on Jonny, Neves and Costa.

And Richarlson isn't that great. He is a diver. He is a cheat and tbh I see why his goals dried up. He is a nasty little player, anyone who watched the game on TV and can lip read could tell you why.

Typical wolves fans, had nothing bad to say last year cus we were winning. First game of the year in the premier league for a young side, fitness, nerves play a massive part but never the less I would of took a draw before the game and give us something to build on.
