Apparently we've submitted a £2million bid for Jason Steele.

Be good keeper. Better than Ikeme.

Probably be playing in the Premier league with Boro if it wasn't for an injury during a managerial change. Good competition for Ikeme though. Lonergan has been awful.

Don't know too much about Jason Steele to be honest. But surely John Ruddy would be a better option to battle with Ikeme for the no.1 jersey next season? Blackburn conceded 65 goals last season, which you can't say is solely down to the goalkeeper. But with our shaky defence I just think a more experienced head such as Ruddy would add a bit more steal (no pun intended) . I can only think Ruddy demands a bigger wage than Steele, which may explain the clubs decision.

Has anybody seen much of Jason Steele?

Even if ruddy has got a bigger wage we will still be saving because ruddy will be on a free where steele with be 2-3 million.

Just read another story saying that we have bid for Preston striker Jordan Hugill. Are these really the players that are going to have us fighting for promotion next season? Not convinced myself.

These will be the first of many links through the summer. whether shopping at bargain booze or harrods as long as the players coming in improve the poor football played these last couple of seasons it can only be good.
