in the words of the immortal sir frankie howard
nay, nay, and thrice nay!
not bloody likely.

2.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 14:22:45
Been there and done it! A yes from me.

3.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 14:23:00
what rubbish.

4.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 14:24:03
Please Nooooooooooooo!
I would rather watch paint dry than a Steve Bruce team. Big statement this but I reckon Kenny would be better than Steve.

5.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 14:25:12
Yep, definitely.

6.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 14:27:11
Do those fans who objected to him last time want him? I think he'd be ideal for us.

7.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 14:29:51
Good shout. I'm sure he could put up with JM for 3 months.

8.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 14:30:13
Not a chance Bruce will be Sunderland bound if he leaves Hull.

9.) 22 Jul 2016
22 jul 2016 14:35:33
moyes has taken sunderland job-----harry redknapp please.

10.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 14:35:55
I don't think they'd have him back at Sunderland. I think go for him and get out at the first attempt even bring in Giggs as his assistant.

11.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 14:36:55
I'd imagine Kmac would be a part of the deal. Bruce was ran out of Sunderland due ti him being a Newcastle United fan.

12.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 14:38:11
Bruce taking Alladyce's job at Sunderland. Wolves getting Moyes, written in the stars.

Rustic Peg.

13.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 14:39:50
Just on the Beeb sport website : Bruce has left Hull. Check it for yourself.

14.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 14:40:52
harry redknapp?

15.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 14:52:48
Wash your mouth out Myke! Keep Harry Redknapp well away from this Club!

16.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 15:13:29
If Steve Bruce had been hired in 2012 our recent past would have been so different. The fans rejected him with a third of the season still to go and us only hovering on the relegation zone. Remember?

Steve Bruce for me. Anyway, Moyes has gone to Sundreland.

17.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 15:29:59
Harry ****ing rednapp? No thank you. Steve Bruce wouldn't be the worst appointment but it's hardly inspiring and we should be aiming higher.

18.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 15:53:45
Steve Bruce is very uninspiring. No thank you.

19.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 16:06:52
For Christ sake can people get this right. Steve Bruce was NOT rejected by the fans. The opinion poll in the E and S was between Bruce and Curbishley. Most fans went for Curbishley. If the poll had been Bruce or Connor most fans would have gone for Bruce.
Bruce is a manager who will get a team up and has a reasonable record of keeping them there - just.
With new wealthy owners should we not be sending s message of ambition and going for someone who we can all get excited about?
The last thing we need is a boss who divides the fans. Pellegrini would be massive if he could be pursueded to come!

20.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 16:13:00
Personally, i'd like to see Mr Potatohead in charge.

21.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 16:21:42
Did I just see right? Harry redknapp!? Do you want our club run into the ground having pensioners having a last day day at the wolves!? Come on be real! Martinez for me. Experience in english football and has an eye for talent.

22.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 16:24:45
If we go for an English manager then who best but the person who come runner up for the England job.

Out of all your suggestions so far

1 Redknapp. Mr transfer then leave
2 Moyes Mr never played any type of attractive football even with Orem champions at his disposal.
3 Martinez is another Jackett he rotates too much and never knows his strongest side.

If we go foreign then Flores is a good shout.

But tbh I think we will appoint someone none of us expected.

23.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 16:29:30
Tommy1977. Didn't some fans sign a petition against Steve Bruce becoming manager hence why the offer of the managers job was withdrawn by Morgan.

24.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 16:33:55
Prefer monkeys head.

25.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 17:24:40
We all dreamed the last few weeks. money to burn manager set to come in with big signings and the world was our oyster. booooom it went crashing the new owners want to invest 20to 30 mill over 2 years and now people are arguing over steve bruce. oh how high we are aiming.

26.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 17:33:44
I think there are plenty of decent managers out there.

Michael Laudrup anyone?

27.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 17:51:38
Bruce's timing suggests it's us or Sunderland.

28.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 18:01:09
Id have bruce over most managers atm just because he knows how to get out this league plus 20-30 mil over 2 years is not bad at all compared to the last 3 seasons where we wasted money last season on mason afobe was a good signing but that was 2 mil and sako before that but over the past 3 years we have spe t about 3 mil on average so he willing to put more in that we have for years.

29.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 18:16:46
For me it would be Frank De Boer assisted by Denis Bergkamp. Total football at Molineux. We need to adjust our thinking to a higher level and that starts with the manager/ coach.

30.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 18:33:03
Steve Bruce are we going bloody crazy on here or what?

Do you really think that the new owners who are worth over £10b in total are only going to be spending only £20-£30m in 2 years? Be bloody quiet and stop chatting on here if you are saying that total utter crap.

Some of you are getting on my damn nerves, are you really Wolves fans or are ya the few of those mugs from up the road that can read and write and got no friends.

Morgan has just made the £20-£30m a part of the deal but the the new owner will not be doing a Morgan and buying bargain basement players, especially with Pie Muncher out of the picture.

We now have the 4th richest owner in England (Errrrmmm that makes us the 4th richest club in the country, that's just Guangchangs money not including The Fosun company as a whole) and some of you just can not bring yourselves to feel happy, relaxed and excited about the situation that we find ourselves in.

We don't want Bruce or Coffin dodger Rednknapp or anyone else even mentioned before regarding the Wolves managers job in the past.

From who we know Martinez, Flores, Hiddink would be OK but I'm sure it will be someone that the new owners have either heard of or will trust to manage the millions of pounds worth of players they are going to purchase.

Whoever we get or even of its KJ still as manager I'm sure we are going to improve on last seasons rubbish so how about we all cheer the f up a little and someone try and find some solid rumours to mull over.

31.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 19:01:45
Flores and especially hiddink are not going to drop down to the championship.

32.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 19:41:06
Flores is the newly appointed manager of Espanyol.

33.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 21:03:07
Money talks look where Rafa Benetez is.

34.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 21:03:41
I didn't want Flores anyway but he would have been a decent choice if available.

35.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 21:21:06
Goldfinger, we do not have the 4th richest owner. Debt ridden Fosun own us not their chairman and I doubt very much whether he will be putting his own money in. The calculation of his worth is based on his Fosun shareholding, shares which have fallen markedly in value over the last year or so. Also it needs to be borne in mind that Fosun have been going through a buying spree over the last year so their money is going to be spread around. All this does not mean they won't invest but we should not be thinking that they have loads of cash to splash. Splash what there is on Danny Ings to start methinks.

36.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 21:50:23
God you lot need a reality check

Fan power cost us getting Bruce because of his Birmingham connections

What happened he gets a team promoted and we go down

Oh hang on Bully was at West Brom first but he became God, that's ok when it suits

Bruce has a proven track record of gaining promotion

Sign him up get promoted here ends the lecture.

37.) 22 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 22:24:01
I have.

38.) 23 Jul 2016
22 Jul 2016 23:41:57
MBBB what the hell are you talking about Guangchang is the bloody owner along with his buddies at Fosun

What are you banging on about matey

How are Fosun debt ridden?

Ok I give up on here - what a fing joke

Talking while getting t-bagged by a Baggie.

39.) 23 Jul 2016
23 Jul 2016 06:54:49
Giggs.

40.) 23 Jul 2016
23 Jul 2016 11:58:06
Goldfinger matey, Guangchang isn't the owner just like any chairman of a company isn't the owner of the company's assets. If you don't get that then I give up too.
Fosun is debt ridden because all their acquisitions are bought on the tick and they were barred earlier this year from acquiring an Israeli insurance company because they had overstretched themselves (the Wall Street Journal, available on the Web, has details) . In my opinion Chinese companies/ individuals are receiving their government's backing to acquire football clubs which is one reason why normal financial controls were overlooked on this occasion. On the plus side the Fosun chairman is clearly very ambitious and will strive to make their acquisitions successful. So fingers very firmly crossed.

41.) 23 Jul 2016
23 Jul 2016 17:31:09
That's why Fosun were ratified by the Football League and allowed to buy a business in this country? Does that sound right!?

Fosun was formed by 5 university mates which included Guangchang - he was one of the 5, they might all have different titles within their company but he's still classed as a bloody owner so just stop being bloody stubborn- you're wrong on both counts

All I know is we couldn't beat a crap Port Vale team so let's sack the manager and the whole first team except Dicko and let's talk about the new management and squad we need to find.

42.) 23 Jul 2016
23 Jul 2016 17:32:25
DAS made a great suggestion of Frank De Boer and Bergkamp, I'd take them defo.

43.) 23 Jul 2016
23 Jul 2016 17:39:56
My top 5 picks for manager:

1: Guus Hiddink
2: Andre Villas-Boas
3: Frank De Boer (Bergkamp no.2)
4: Roberto Martinez
5: Steve Bruce.

44.) 23 Jul 2016
23 Jul 2016 18:46:45
You seem to have got the wrong end of the stick. I'm not saying Fosun are dodgy Golders, just that they are not as cash rich as people seem to think they are. If you don't believe me then check out the Wall Street Journal for a start. Their owners are their shareholders not the founders and you and I could even become shareholders and therefore "owners ".
