Wolves are drawing up a list of managers to replace Nuno. The list includes Bruno Lage, Rui Faria and Vitor Pereira.

22 Apr 2021 13:34:53
E, have you purposely left out the rest of the details?

22 Apr 2021 13:49:45
Sorry Jas M. Here are some more details;
Jose Mourinho is favourite to be next Wolves manager at 7/ 2 followed by Eddie Howe at 5/ 1.Then comes Sergio Conceicao at 6/ 1,Leonardo Jardim 9/ 1 AVB is 12/ 1 and Marco Silva 14/ 1.If there is anything else I have missed please enlighten us.

22 Apr 2021 14:11:45
Yes you have. Quite a major factor actually. That fact being that the list is being drawn up IF, and it is a big if, Nuno walks away. Fosun are not going to sack him so if Nuno does go, it will be on his terms and at the moment, him leaving isn't looking likely.

22 Apr 2021 14:55:25
The list is drawn up as a just in case scenerio if Nuno goes on his own accord which is possible but given what he's been saying I think we can rest assured now he'll still be here next season.
Fosum certainly won't sack him yet.

22 Apr 2021 14:56:46
Jas, he's always at it mate. Pretty sure at this stage that E is a Baggie as he rarely posts anything other than stuff which is specifically meant to wind other fans up. He did the Mourinho post about a month back but clearly was bored yesterday so thought he'd do it again. I wouldn't bother responding mate as I'm pretty sure he's just on the wind up! 🙄.

22 Apr 2021 14:58:29
E from Wombourne- you're a poor troll at best. Who will be replacing Bis Sam when your side gets relegated?

22 Apr 2021 16:50:44
All just paper talk I’m sure nothing has come from the club.
Some people just get sucked in.

22 Apr 2021 18:02:08
E. you've lost the plot.

22 Apr 2021 18:06:08
E from Wombourne. So Nuno would go to work for a man who has just proved to the world what the rest of us have known for some time. Unlikely, don't you think?

21 Apr 2021 11:30:28
Fosum confirm they are fully commited to Wolves and the project.
That'll upset the doomsdayers.

21 Apr 2021 13:56:40
SQ, where are you? :) (joking)

21 Apr 2021 14:57:11
Have you seen the article on Microsoft news today ranking the 20 Prem league owners. Wolves come 2nd behind Leicester. Villa are 3rd and Baggies 9th. They seem to like the Midlands!

19 Apr 2021 10:51:25
No rumours floating about?

19 Apr 2021 11:26:10
Most likely be linking Nuno to the vacant Spurs job. Same when Arsenal sacked Unai Emery. Could the allure of working with Matt Doherty again be too strong for Nuno to resist? :)

19 Apr 2021 13:45:01
Nice 1 Debbie,
I wonder if the man up the tree in Compton will be there this summer?
Nuno to spurs won't happen imo.

19 Apr 2021 17:32:40
They won't go for Nuno as they want a manager who will bring exciting attacking football. Mourinho was all about shape and solidity and, let's face it, so is Nuno.

19 Apr 2021 18:07:35
If Spurs were not happy with Mourinho and his 1.6875 goals scored per match, Nuno's record is well behind with exactly one goal per match, plus a much worse goals conceded record. However, I'm very grateful to have Nuno at Wolves but I recognise that his tactics are very negative. Nuno to Spurs? Not a chance.

20 Apr 2021 13:39:42
If Nuno goes to Spurs will he want to send Doc back to us?

19 Apr 2021 10:32:59
Rumours Mourinho sacked. See if Nuno be tempted.

14 Apr 2021 22:08:47
For what it's worth I read an article claiming Spurs are after Nuno; seems Levy has had enough of Colombo.

15 Apr 2021 05:28:05
Apparently it would cost Spurs £40m to get rid of JM (in or around that figure)

15 Apr 2021 17:43:34
It was Man U last year.

17 Apr 2021 22:58:08
Be Man City next year.

18 Apr 2021 18:15:58
Let's face facts. Our season was over when we went out of FA cup.
Injury's ruined us.
And I don't care what anyone thinks.
Nunos on his way.

19 Apr 2021 11:07:43
Well, Spurs need a new manager. To sack at this part of the season defies logic. unless there's a new coach waiting in the wings. If so, we'll soon find out whether the Nuno to Spurs rumours are true.
Personally I don't think Nuno will go just yet.

20 Apr 2021 13:41:26
JM sacked just when the ESL was announced I wonder if they thought he would be a problem and paid him off with a silence clause.

13 Apr 2021 23:29:48
Rumours that Spurs are eyeing up Nuno as they are not happy with Mourinho.

15 Apr 2021 17:42:31
I think there's a big chat on the horizon for nuno and Co. & it might decide his future. Over achieving in previous 2 seasons will mean nothing to ruthless business men.

13 Apr 2021 10:21:09
Benfica interested in signing Ruben Vinagre for £13million. In Nuno we trust?

12 Apr 2021 17:51:50
I’m hearing that Neto has a serious knee injury and is out for the season. Neves has also apparently tested positive for C.V.
Not confirmed yet.

12 Apr 2021 18:09:14
Sums up the season. struggle to get a team out on Saturday!

12 Apr 2021 18:49:41
True NigelT but hopefully the likes of Gibbs White, Otasowie and Vitinha might get some game time.
What we need is youngsters grabbing opportunities and showing the management team that a fortune doesn’t need to be paid on injury cover.

12 Apr 2021 20:30:53
With WBA winning tonight, I suspect our clash with them will be a massive game for both sides.

12 Apr 2021 21:19:12
Bound to happen. always does.

13 Apr 2021 06:50:19
Of course, WBA could make a hash of their next two fixtures. Leicester and Villa.

20 Apr 2021 13:43:23
They need a miracle to stay up Wolves however should be able to be more experimental with those younger players and hopefully give Corbeanu some game time too.

11 Apr 2021 12:34:09
Been reading on various sites Wolves are prepared to sell Neves if £30 million + bid comes in. I hope we don't.

{Ed002's Note - Ruben Neves (DM/CM) Wolves would look to get as close to €50M as they can should circumstances dictate Neves is sold, but they certainly don't want to sell. Mr Mourinho is a huge fan and has tried to take himn to two different clubs in the past - and he would, I am sure be interested in taking him to Spurs. He has always been seen as an option to replace Matic at Manchester United, but they have other priorities to deal with first.}

11 Apr 2021 17:10:42
Given Jesse Lingard is playing out of his skin at the moment and if WHU want him I can see Declan Rice being a part of the deal. All speculation, of course.

11 Apr 2021 09:37:14
Few bits from the Beeb this morning (two of three come from Blog-Esque websites that pretend to be actual media) :

*Manchester United have added Wolverhampton Wanderers' Ruben Neves, 24, to their list of transfer targets, with the Midlands club prepared to sell the Portugal midfielder. (90min)

*Wolves are poised to make a move for Valencia forward Goncalo Guedes, 24, and are considering offering 23-year-old Italian Patrick Cutrone, who is already on loan with the Spanish club, in a part-exchange for the Portugal striker. (Football Insider)

*Newcastle United are monitoring Wolves' 21-year-old English defender Dion Sanderson, who is on-loan with north-east rivals Sunderland. (Chronicle)

It seems Fosun are restructuring their commitment to Wolves, or could It be losing interest. Hope it's not all about making a profit on their investment. Otherwise there will be more Jota situations where players who have increased their value will be sold on to big clubs. So the likes of Neves, Jiminez, Neto and Traore, will be moved on to swell the coffers. Are Wolves now merely a feeder club for the big boys. Oh well it was good while it lasted.

11 Apr 2021 12:40:42
Ray389, I don't think Jota was sold by Fosun just to swell the coffers. I think the fact that Jota wanted to leave had a big part in the move too.

11 Apr 2021 13:56:05
I was toldmJota was sold for off-the-field antics. Could be idle gossip though and I always treated it as that.

20 Apr 2021 13:48:03
When the league champions want to sign you you tend to listen I don't blame Jota and he has shown he can play at the level required keeping Firmino out of the team for a while

Wolves rarely sold to bigger clubs in the past only Lescott I think in the last 20 years so I see this as a sign we have some good players around.
