wolves to lose 4 - 1
unexpected signing due next week I think
the realist is our dream manager.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2017 22:48:48
Na don't think we will lose be draw 1-1 more likely

13 Jan 2017 17:08:37
Duckens Nazon signs till the end of the season like I told you all ;)

Agree0 Disagree1

13 Jan 2017 17:17:32
Wow a player, business all done then.

13 Jan 2017 17:19:52
hi guys new to the site always been a wolves fan and I will till I die, is this guy any good felix? seems a bit of a punt in my eyes hope to be wrong though

13 Jan 2017 17:36:39
Well done Felix. No the big decision is will his nickname be Daffy or Donald?

13 Jan 2017 17:45:20
Straight into U23 s wow what a scoop that was!?

13 Jan 2017 18:03:53
Hardly news though Felix considering he's been training with us for the last 2 weeks.

13 Jan 2017 18:53:04
Dont think he is a first team player. i'm a bit confused by this signing even though he is going into the u23 squad. What will that do for morale of the plyers who have come through the ranks?

13 Jan 2017 18:54:17
Agree with clive what a geat bit of buisness! no goals coming from strikers so we sign a guy who has scored 2 in 13 and goes straight in to the under 23 squad hope i'm wrong but looks a rubbish deal to me

13 Jan 2017 19:12:55
so we replace Gladon with someone who has even worse stats, lols. Could be another Benteke, or, most likely, another Gladon.

13 Jan 2017 19:29:05
Free, 6 month contract only 22. It's basically a 6 month trial to run the rule over him. Seems like a common sense bit of business to me

13 Jan 2017 20:54:17
My comment wasn't meant to be seen as slagging the guy off. It's just footballers tend to have a nickname. I ain't got a clue whether he's good or not. Time will tell. Let's hope he gets in the first team and bangs in 15 goals by the end of the season.

13 Jan 2017 23:08:33
The guy is free and probs low wages so why not take a punt? He has experience too . . in the Indian league yes there is one!

14 Jan 2017 11:54:56
Must be hot stuff if he came from India

12 Jan 2017 16:38:35
Sam Winnall having medical at Sheffield Wednesday.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2017 19:26:48
So what! We let him go because he wasn't good enough. Never look back.

12 Jan 2017 19:52:02
No doubt he will carry on scoring. to slow once again unless he not good enough. but with our budget would of been a good signing as he does what he's paid to do.

12 Jan 2017 19:59:51
Huh he wasn't good enough or wolves staff made a mistake? he's scoring goals for fun. you can't be to proud mate when your struggling at the bottom half of the league.

12 Jan 2017 21:38:47
Wednesfield, I may be wrong here but did anyone say at the time we released him that we were making a mistake or did we all think that there was no way that the 22 year old who had been loaned out to 4 lower league sides and failed to prove himself would get into the team ahead of Steven Fletcher, Kevin Doyle and Sylvan Ebanks Blake.

12 Jan 2017 22:44:38
Jas M I read your comment's a lot on here and to be honest you are the one who says don't bring up the past. You mention Winnall wasn't good enough, he obviously is now. Can you remember the last time one of our strikers scored? Winnall has a hat full and will continue to score. You also mentioned the OLD strikers we had, you mean Steve "the traitor" Fletcher, Kevin "5 goals in 5 seasons" Doyle and fatty ebanks. Why not go all the way back to Steve "20 goals a season" bull and Andy "perfect strike partner" mutch. We NEED a striker and a striker that can score, Winnall would have been great for us regardless whether he had played for us as a youth or not! Yet another bargain slipped through our fingers.

12 Jan 2017 23:42:09
If 'Another one slips through the net' is the argument then why don't we save our money and just persist with Enokobahare, Bodvarsson, Dicko and Joe Mason who are all younger than Winnall. Bodvarsson is class, Mason has scored at this level, Dicko will find his form again and Bright is the future.

13 Jan 2017 07:38:42
Bright playing centre midfield? Bod may be quality but doesn't score, Dicko is a shadow of himself and doesn't score, Mason is busy but doesn't score. You can't go through a season with 5 goal a season strikers and rely on Edwards and Costa to get the goals. We either need to play 4-4-2 with bright or Mason playing off Bod or get a class striker that can play up front on his own and still score

13 Jan 2017 07:45:39
Pompey, the point is that Winnall didn't score when he was here before so we let him go. Should we do the same to the players I mention then complain in 5 years time how we made a mistake.

13 Jan 2017 08:15:15
I get that jas but you can't keep looking at what players did before. He has obviously improved and scores goals. I love bright and he has to play up front or he is wasted. Ennis will be great too. What I'm saying is we need to be competitive and we can't do that if our strikers don't score.

13 Jan 2017 10:11:34
You guys are right Winnall didn't score for the first team mainly because he didn't play for the first team. I seem to remember though for the under 23s or whatever it was he was constantly scoring.
He left because he was not offered a decent contract.

13 Jan 2017 10:21:13
Price is off to Bastia on loan

13 Jan 2017 10:32:46
Pompey for manager he obviously knows it all

13 Jan 2017 11:06:10
Sam grew up in my village vile attitude which is why he was moved on from Wolves another primadonna NOT what we want going forward.

13 Jan 2017 11:30:23
Wolves till I die, it's just my opinion as others have theirs. Our strikers aren't doing the business so surely we need to look at that area just like our defence leaks too many goals. We don't have to spend millions to get decent players. Let's get some of the deadwood off the payroll and improve on what we currently have

13 Jan 2017 11:40:41
Let Lambert carry on what he is doing, seams to be getting it all right at the moment, we have to face facts that it is going to take time to sort this lot out and I have to say Lambert is like a bit of fresh air at the moment with is team selections as he as surprised everybody me included.

One things for sure if there good enough they are old enough in Lamberts opinion and they will start, okay we do need some players of experience to go with the players we have and Lambert nows that he is not stupid, you have to agree Wolves fans we are slowly getting there and we don't want to get into panic buying just for the sake of it and waste more money on average players.

I have to say I am enjoying the ride again we look more organised and the sooner we climb up the league the better.
Come on you Wolves we can beat the Villa do it for Lambo.

13 Jan 2017 12:25:22
Wolves011, how have you read a story about Oniangue potentially moving on loan and then mistaken him for Jack Price?

13 Jan 2017 12:29:11
Pompeywolf, you are absolutely correct of course with your comments about strikers. we need a couple of quality tried and tested that can do that. Strike that is, actually score goals regularly. This is what makes the difference between an also ran team and one that's going places. They cost money and as each season goes by more and more. So the logical conclusion has to be search them out and get them. Now that is! Not easy I know! But we need to go get them. Costa has to be a priority because he has what it takes in this league and I have no doubt the premier league too. We can't just rely on our wingers and DE can we? 😉👍

13 Jan 2017 12:30:12
Agreed big wolf. Spot on 😉

13 Jan 2017 15:17:38
Jas M I find my articles on news now, Sky and Sports Witness. All of whom I trust especially Sports Witness which I have a contact.

13 Jan 2017 15:49:10
Leon Clarke! enough said.

13 Jan 2017 15:47:24
WolvesayWe91 you may have been right about his attitude but from all accounts he was offered a contract but turned it down because it was a pretty low one.

13 Jan 2017 17:45:28
Wolves011, I read the newsnow article and I thought it said Oniangue was moving on loan to Bastia. Guess I was wrong.

14 Jan 2017 08:42:15
"Prince to Bastia" not Price

14 Jan 2017 09:15:36
It is oniangue not price.

12 Jan 2017 16:31:13
ola john set for a med on friday in spain, announced by spanish press, one off the wage bill then,

RIP G T,

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2017 13:34:35
how much do we reckon off wage bill? its a start whatever.

13 Jan 2017 16:10:56
As a percentage not much he was on loan and my guess is that young players in Portugal don't earn much so probably 1 percent of the wage bill!

12 Jan 2017 15:20:01
Lambert said of Oniangue: "He needs to get games. He's a lovely lad, a really top bloke, but I can only pick two central midfielders and there's more here than I can count. "

Is this the biggest hint yet that two or more CMs are on their way out? A week agao I would have guessed Saville and Evans but not so sure now. But he won't sell Edwards, Price or Saiss presumably. Coady looks like he offers some consistency too, wherever he is played. Tough one.

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Jan 2017 10:40:12
Rumor prince is going on loan to Bastia in France.

12 Jan 2017 00:05:09
Well looks like this window will be a quiet one.
I think we still need a strong RB and a 15+ goal striker.
What do you guys think? Will we make any signings?

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Jan 2017 07:35:14
I think its more about getting rid of the dross that Zenga brought in.
What worries me is that our owners are meant to be worth more than Villas and West b#%m but Villa especially seem to target 4 million type players.
We always linked to 500k, 1.5 mil. If we are to get out of this league- we unfortunatly nees to spend properly like when they first took over 7 mil etc etc. Clearly with the right players. Zenga was Fosuns mistake.

12 Jan 2017 08:31:14
Cost of players isn't everything would you be happy spending 14m on McCormack and only scoring 3 goals? Cavaliero seems decent but not a 7m player yet. We don't need to spend loads now the wage bill needs to be reduced which takes time. Deadwood out before the proper buying starts in the summer PL knows what he wants.

12 Jan 2017 08:43:29
zenga had no input on transfers fosun were led up the garden path by trusting jorge mendes on all incoming transfers he's the one to blame for this mess, and lambert his doing a great job sorting it out

12 Jan 2017 08:46:05
I think you didn't read with the right players. there's a reason a player is 500k or 4 million in general.
Of course the odd time aomeone like Vardy appears who
coat peanuts. My point is we need quality.

12 Jan 2017 09:58:20
Paulwolfpa. harsh to blame Zenga on summer signings.
If you need someone to blame, I think your man is Thelwell, he ether sanctioned the signings or rolled over when they were suggested.
Thank goodness it is now Lambert controlling the 1st Team Squad policy.

12 Jan 2017 10:04:24
It's definitely not all about price, Look how big money signings have disappointed at Wolves. O'Hara, Johnson, etc.

It is all about shrewd well-researched signings, and also making the best of what we have and the Wolves youngsters coming through. In these respects Lambert will serve us well, especially after he has slashed squad numbers to allow others to flourish.

11 Jan 2017 23:43:40
Jed Wallace to Millwall or Portsmouth till the end of the season on loan.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Jan 2017 12:05:34
Ola John to Deportivo is what I've heard.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Jan 2017 12:45:32
I've seen the same on twitter

11 Jan 2017 13:07:42
Yes I've seen this also on HITC

11 Jan 2017 18:32:47
Personally, I don't want Boyle or Mickey Mouse or whoever. If we are to make a march in this league at this stage I think we need quality, goal scoring, tried and tested proven players to fill our weak spots in the team! We all know where they are. I don't want more players to make up the numbers. All this means we have to pay for them. 👍😉

11 Jan 2017 20:42:37
Doesn't realy matter what you want it's up the the management what they want

11 Jan 2017 21:00:38
I realise that of course. Just stating as a fan what I would like to see us do! It's what all our successful competition do. Presumably they do it because it works. It improves the team and results. It's results we want and that will enable us to progress isn't it? Of course if we can pickup bargain along the way we should go for it. 👍😉

11 Jan 2017 21:24:34
It's about time wolves got it right instead of looking up to teams like Watford. Bournemouth, Swansea, Hull we should be 10 times better than them

11 Jan 2017 21:28:49
Actually that is not true, you have a short memory. If I say AFOBE . he came from Div 1 and look where we ended up. So argument fails.

There are a few in Div 1 to consider:
Taylor - striker - B Rovers
Anderson - midfield - Peterboro
Clough - midfield - Bolton

There are a few more if I stop and think but is it possible to get more "Afobes"?

11 Jan 2017 21:57:09
It makes me laugh how many people on here regurgitate articles off News Now

11 Jan 2017 22:57:29
StuuCorbet. hahahaha making out like it's his own knowledge

12 Jan 2017 00:21:04
Yes quite correct but was using them as examples of good players in Div 1 who can step up that is all.

12 Jan 2017 10:04:52
DerbyWolf. Adobe was on loan in div 1 from arsenal. But I agree that there is plenty of talent in lower leagues. However, I'm more interested in our youngsters for the rest of this season. I say give them a chance here and there for the rest of this season. After all, we won't be going down. The summer window is always the better of the two.

I feel at times some fans can't decide what they want. One minute it's 'give the kids a chance', next minute it's 'the kids aren't good enough, let's spend millions. ' Then when we are bored of the first 11 again after 3 months, it's 'give the kids a chance' again.

I actually love the fact that we have so many youngsters coming through, playing for us, playing for different international age groups. I except their mistakes a lot more than some player we bought for a lump sum. I feel a lot more connected to wolves that way.

Having said that, I've read that messi may come available and has a holiday home in tettenhall.

12 Jan 2017 13:12:39
We don't need to sign till summer cus we ain't going nowhere this season. may aswel keep playing ronan, bright n gibbs that's basically like 3 signings n help them progress. I would still like omar bogle for a gamble though

10 Jan 2017 20:20:39
Bogle wants Wolves move according to his family, but we are looking at paying £500.000 Grimsby want three times that money and B. ham moving in now!

Agree0 Disagree0

10 Jan 2017 21:04:35
I'd say pay it.

10 Jan 2017 22:25:24
Derby have Nugent. Sheffield weds have agreed a £500k price for Winnall and I can't remember the last time one of our strikers scored. I'm sorry to say we are still a joke. Just Because we won one cup game we are the best team ever?! We need to pay the going rate for players. Fair play or not let's get rid of the deadwood and buy players who at least play every now and again unlike tex, John, gladon, Silvio, Wallace, Evans, Saville, Prince. Buy Winnall, Bogle, Dack, Chaplin, Goldson and we may do something. You can all cain my opinion so answers below.

10 Jan 2017 23:00:12
I can understand the logic in signing Bogle but a lot of fans on here are adamant that we need a proven striker at this level and Bogle certainly does not fall into that category.

11 Jan 2017 00:03:34
Is this 500k for Winnall right? But Blackburn want 2.5m for Marshall.

11 Jan 2017 07:18:25
Sheff Wed have bid 500k but what Barnsley want and what some club has to pay is another matter. He seems to be a sound goal scorer at this level who is benefitting from regular games in a well organised team.

11 Jan 2017 12:00:55
Bogle is def available. wolves all the way

11 Jan 2017 12:32:07
I am hoping useless management can usher somebody in soon.

09 Jan 2017 19:37:37
plymouth or liverpool away in next round of cup it is then.

Agree0 Disagree0

09 Jan 2017 20:00:25
Great draw as long as Liverpool get through and tv don't mess with it. 9000, Wolves! AWESOME!

09 Jan 2017 20:10:47
Plymouth want to beat Liverpool and since they are putting out their youth team again I heavily doubt it will be easy for them, but since Liverpool are so weak with their youth team I believe they will slip up and go out of the cup. Meaning we will beat Plymouth and move into the 5th round. COME ON YOU WOLVES

10 Jan 2017 12:38:32
On the evidence of the last game I doubt that. 28 shots to 4, 18 corners to 0 and 77% procession to 23%. All Plymouth did was stop Liverpool scoring and they were jammy b*****ds at that. Plus they cost me £100 on my accumulator. Not that annoyed about it.

10 Jan 2017 14:58:19
Plymouth to win on penalties, after another 0-0 draw! BEAUTIFUL!

11 Jan 2017 10:06:59
Do we really want Plymouth away?

Let's face it, we're not going to win the FA Cup. So let's hope for a game at Anfield whether it's an Ojo- or Coutinho-flavoured team they put out. That's what we're aiming for next season, right?

13 Jan 2017 17:28:32
Do we really want Plymouth away now the game has been selected for BT Sport's televised lunchtime game - getting to Plymouth for 12.15 KO would be a mission, 3pm is bad enough
