I am finding it difficult to understand why some Wolves fans are saying that 'we should buy 3 players and pay them £30k a week with the money we are saving from Doyle, O'Hara etc'. These fans need to get one thing straight. THOSE DAYS HAVE GONE! The Wolves board have had there fingers well and truly burnt by what has happened over the last 2 years. It will take a prolonged period of stability in the Premier League before Wolves will even consider paying that sort of money again.
As regards any news coming out of Molineux, I think it will be quiet for another month or so. I have heard that they are close to signing 2 new wide players, one from abroad and one from the lower leagues. This points very much to Jed Wallace from Pompey and Zyro from Legia. This in turn points to the club possibly looking to get rid of Michael Jacobs.
Finally from me, there is a lot of talk of us needing a leader in midfield, someone to protect McDonald and give him the space to weave his magic. This is just a thought from me, not something I have heard, but have you seen that West Ham are going to release Kevin Nolan in the summer. Now there is a name that has got 'Paul Ince's promotion role' written all over it!!! But of course he will no doubt want £30k a week!!!!

I like your thinking with Nolan as we have lots of exciting young players but very little experienced leaders such as Alex Rae, paul Ince, etc.
I would also consider Leon Osman at Everton as I hear he is available this summer.

I'd prefer McLean from Wigan - he can boss a game

08 May 2015 15:02:33
McLean is a wide player and young himself. We have wide players but we do have to replace Sako.
Michael Antonio from forest would seem a logical like for like there.
As Tom Tit says, we really need an experienced central midfield leader to organise and protect McDonald. Nolan, Osman or even Bridcutt at Sunderland (only early 20s but plenty of games under his belt for Brighton and the black cats).
My worry is what happens if KMac gets injured?

What about trying a loan for Abou Diaby from Arsenal. Shocking injury record but if we could get him playing that physical presence would be awesome. Maybe if we focused his play on just playing as a holding player that might put less stress on his body. Do like the sound of Nolan though.

Above poster, you'd want someone with a 'shocking injury record' drop down a level to a more physical league? We already have one of those players, his name is Razak Boukari.

Victory V will be wanting Frimpong back next. No thanks on Diaby, never going to work.
Would also love Alex Pritchard as a creative player if Brentford don't go up.

Jed Wallace is the most I'm hearing agree we need a expirienced centre mid, jack price will continue to develop as will Evans if he improves his attitude, I havnt seen much of saville to judge

I don't know about you lot right but Moxley, Morgan& therwell have clearly held talks over the summer and along with kj for Moxley to come out and say Steve is happy send whatever it takes to replace sako and get others players in now I think I know why mr Morgan is willing to do this:

1.callum Wilson got bourenmouth promoted and he knows he could of been at wolves

2. Sako is massive players for wolves and he needs to sign someone in his arrange of ability to replace him and he knows that and he changes games

3. KJ what he has done with this squad and little money I think has persuaded Morgan to spend the money on the players he wants because I think he knows that if he does KJ will get us promoted

I'm hopping people see what I mean and I'm sure plenty will agree with me BUT you can spend all the money you won't on fees but I'm in 2 frames of mind if he will give them the money in wages that he will on fees I'm hoping he does and I'm hoping Moxley isn't lying about Steve Morgan spending money but I don't think Moxley would lie in public and I Think in terms of players coming in rather than going out I think it will be a very busy summer and I'm hoping you see where I'm coming from

I can't see us spending too much money this summer as the football league are very strict on financial fair play. I wouldn't be surprised if we have to sell first before spending serious money. FFP is really limiting the amount clubs can spend. Look at the problems QPR face know they have been relegated back to the Championship.

I can see we're your coming from clivewolves but Moxley has come out and said wolves will spend big in the summer if you read his artical in the E&S and most of it will go on a winger honstley I can see you spending about 7.5m in the summer on LB,ST,LM and I know he plays for west brom but he hasn't really done it for them and will leave on a free in the Summer as he out of contract and he wouldn't be on that much tbh so what about mulumbu he's 27 he's a ball winning midfeilder and can create things as well and I think would do well along side McDonald
This is just my personal opinion so from what Moxley as said I can see us spending and he also said that Morgan is willing to spend it and tbh I hope this is true like most people will

I ain't been funny or anything but I can honstly see us targeting Nathan Redmond he would play week in week out wouldn't be on to much wages would play in his perfered postion wide left and would be the ideal replacement getting him is a different story tho

Been speaking to Tim Nash and expects us to target antonio in the summer as he's a relastic target and also looking at young up coming talent in the prem
