Well I see Martinez is likely to get the Everton job. So who get's the Wigan job? Steve Bruce maybe? Who gets the Hull job? We're not going to find it easy to attract a decent manager. {Ed011's Note - Sadly I don't see us in the same market for managers as those any more. Maybe for Coyle, but I don't think any of the managers we're looking at will be in the same sphere as the ones that they will be.

Why would Steve Bruce go to Wigan from Hull.

We're fishing in a totally different pond now!

Is Mike Bassett free?

If Wigan stay up they will not go for Bruce! If they go down maybe but it would be a stupid decision. They play loveley football with a good team who are used to that way taking Bruce there would be the same effect as us having stale a totally wrong fit to soon

Probably won't, just an example - unless perhaps Wigan stay up. But Wigan will recruit someone decent from another club. Maybe Poyet or Friedman for example.

Especially when he already jumped ship from Wigan to go to Sunderland.

Bruce deserted Wigan twice as manager!. Firstly after 2 months to take over at palace, and later when given the job once more he ditched them to take over at Sunderland! Why would Wigan offer him the job a 3rd time?. the guy is a mercenary and I'm glad we didn't get him as manager, despite our current predicament! Just you watch, he'll ditch hull as soon as a 'better' job is available!

I don't agree, although bruce jumps from job to job if he was our manager we wouldn't be in the state we are in now.

I'm not saying we'd be in the state we are with Bruce in charge, but you could bet he'd have had no reservations about jumping ship as soon as another chairman waved cash in front of his face! He's never one for a long term project, just in it for the money!

Get Cherie Lunghi (The Manageress) as boss!

Good for Bruce then. It's every manager's right to "jump ship" just as it's every owner's right to throw him overboard (to labour the metaphor).

Saunders jumped ship to come to Wolves.

Meant to say Ed, yes, I don't see us signing anyone of that calibre. Why would a proven manager want to play in L1? (OK Sven did a few years ago, but that was unusual).

My point was that any manager punching above his weight would likely get a job at a bigger/better club now that the best job in football has become vacant. Makes it harder for us to get someone in.

So Moysey is the next Man United manager. Who gets the Everton job? Clarke perhaps? And when this merry-go-round stops, who is left for us? {Ed011's Note - Dean Saunders or Solbakken.

Happily have Solbakken Ed.

I hope its Owen Coyle, but I have reservations as to whether he would join us given the circumstances of the last twelve months.

Haha Ed.

Well Saunders doesn't look like he's getting the Man United job nor the Everton job!

Maybe if we take Steve Davis he'll get the Crewe job.

Don't we all just love this speculation.

If Saunders did go to Crewe that would be a guaranteed 6 points for us.

08 May 2013 21:15:37
steve davis has got a good hope of being wolves manger 6/1

He was a good snooker player

Two new Board members to join Wolves very soon, both Football men. New manager will deal with them and NOT Morgan & Moxey, good news. P. J. {Ed011's Note - Sounds like something we've needed for an eternity.

08 May 2013 18:29:09
Neil Warnock will be appointed Wolves manager in 3 weeks.

We could do a lot worse. We need a big character, who has done it, seen it, and will kick ass. Think they will go for someone younger though. I believe we need to go this time with the lowest risk, and that probably is Warnock.

Why 3 weeks?

I've heard Alex ferguson will come to wolves! Signing a 1 year deal. He has stated that he won't play every game but feels he can finish the season top scorer.

Getting excited now - only 3 wolves managers until Christmas lol {Ed011's Note - Haha, I might have to steal that.

I've heard that wolves are trying to buy bradfords nahki wells, I'm guessing this is wholly dependent on bradfords success In the playoffs.
But even if we do buy him we need a big, strong, powerful striker who is good in the air to utilise his pace.

Between Doyle, siggy, Griffiths, Cassidy, macalinden I think that's enough to get us back

Matt Smith of Oldham will do the job

So what your suggesting is we play hoof ball, Brilliant more boredom.

I'd like Wells but I think he was more of a Saunders target

Doyle will be gone to Celtic, his goals helped us but its best if he moves on, as well as others.

We need someone like iwelumo he was quality for us with ebanks blake

We played hoof ball in the 50's and beat everybody, granted our players aren't as good as they were back then but we will need some physicality to survive in this division

Why would iwulumo come to us?
he is playing for Watford in the playoffs with a chance of prem football next season

Playing for Watford my arse, he's been on loan at Oldham where he isn't always first choice striker. I'm a big fan of Iwelumo though, wouldn't be a bad signing if we lose some strikers

Don't assume Doyle and Griffiths will stay. Doyle is most definitely on his way to Celtic. And why would we want Iwelumo? We can't go backwards. New players, fresh attitude. This is a chance to buy young stars and push our young stars. We've all heard we have a lot of them, in this league we can push them and let them establish themselves into good players. StheMan

Moxey of to America to further is career, wolves to look for new DoF possible Southgate

What we've got to hope for is a decisive strong chairman like Southampton have got in nikola cortese who is straightforward and wants the best for his club

Apparently Sir Alex is taking over the Wolves job, because after 27 years at Man U he's stated he needs a break from watching football!

How can he further his career in America? he is on a winner with Wolves.

Morgan is wakin up and hopefully Moxey will be gone and a DOF brought in! I don't think he can further his career in America but certainly can expand his waistline with the giant burgers! Paul Tamworth not Tipton!

Apparently Saunders is being offered the Doncaster job again, strange thing football eh!

I have been working in Cheshire today and lots of my colleagues say Steve Davis is being strongly linked up there. The obvious Wolves connection is for all to see.
Having only see bits of Crewe ( although everybody knows what a great youth structure they have always had ) I asked " how good is he ". The answer every time was " very good ".
With Thelwell heavily involved in recruitment I think he would be in favour of giving youth a chance and this is what Davis does. The whole team against Walsall were homegrown. He gets my vote.
GET MOXEY OUT.

Been told by two good sources Steve Davis is highly rated by Thelwell, think he will be high on the shortlist. and food for thought with the emphasis on youth Dario Gradi DOF.

Davies would be good appointment---- a really good snooker player! Up the wurzels

Given Morgan's connections we're more likely to end up with John Parrott

Shouldn't the Wurzel be ploughing a field and sleeping with his hairy sister rather than being on here!

Im hearing from inside Molineux that Steve Morgan and Kevin Thelwell are planning to interview 10-15 candidates for the managers position. These will include a few ex players in mangement or coaching as Morgan feels that a previous connection with the club would make the new manager aware of the passion connected with Wolves. Names being mentioned therefore are Darren Ferguson, Paul Ince, Alex Rae, Carl Robinson (currently coaching in Canada) and Keith Curle. These will alongside more established names such as Roy Keane, Kenny Jacket, Steve Davis, Karl Robinson and Dean Smith.

Morgan is also rumoured to want to speak to a couple of bigger named candidates and has asked Thelwell to make contact with the connections of Roberto Di Matteo, Owen Coyle and a surprise name Kenny Dalgliesh.

Dont shoot the messenger here, i'm just passing on what I have heard from someone that works in Molineux. But they seemed confident that the new man WOULD come from the one of the names that I have stated in this message.

I would personally walk to Liverpool and carry Kenny Dalglish to Wolverhampton if it meant he would come to us.

Pray to God that is true!

You mentioned just about every name rumoured in recent days, so your chances of guessing the right one, are pretty good.

As for the mentioned people. I hope we don't go for Keane. Sacked at Sunderland, sacked at Ipswich, and while at the latter, didn't realize how good a player, Jordan Rhodes was.

True enough, keane wasn't the best at Ipswich and Sunderland but he should be good at putting the players in there place and telling them what's what

In my opinion dalglish showed during the Suarez racism fiasco that he couldn't deal with a difficult situation after making the players wear Suarez t-shirts, he should have just told him to apologise and take his ban like a man

Keane took Sunderland from one end of the Championship to the other in not much more than half a season. He knows how to fight. OK, not so hot in the Premier and who knows what went wrong at Ipswich?

If he is on fire, we'd walk L1 with him in charge.

You need to remember your in the third division

Yes we are. We're going to places you can only dream about.

You mean Karl Robinson mate. oh dear - poor sleuthing. on that note - Karl Robinson is a great shout - new manager, new players, new generation

08 May 2013 13:16:12
Wolves won't be making any loan signings next term, however Ismail, stearman, forde and Griffiths are been recalled. Landell is making a permanent move away from molineux

Stearman is already signing for Ipswich. Ismail was called back 4 weeks before end of season. get the facts right and someone may believe you

Stearman is been told he has to stay

08 May 2013 13:08:33
elokobi, Henry, Ikeme, hammil, Johnson, Ohara transfer listed!

Why list elokobi? He'll be a good player in division 3 and he's one of our only players with any bottle, the only reason for letting him go is if his wages are to high

Ask the club

Yes I'd like to see Elokobi stay too. Haven't seen enough of him lately. Maybe he's asked to leave?

08 May 2013 18:38:11
Elokobi should be playing centre half in league 1 for us

I'd actually keep George- always said League 1 was his level and now we're there

Agree with Elokobi at centre half
A few hoofing teams to play next season

08 May 2013 12:57:08
Hunt and Berra get new contracts but Blake is been released

Berra he is already going else where for free try to keep up with what is going on

Berra has agreed a new contract. Must have been short of options

08 May 2013 12:52:36
All of solbakkens signings to go with the exception of sigurdson

And you know this because that it is all made up from your little mind

Just your opinion & wish lists

Tongo will be good it time just needs a good fitness coach etc

We can't really say this about gorg Margritter because I think he only played 1 competitive game and that was against Northampton and if I'm honest, when your biggest goal threat is akinfenwa, it's not going well

Apologies. There was no mention of him, so I checked back and he is staying too. So that's 2!

And Eggert to be made club captain. How are the restraints Pete?

08 May 2013 10:58:52
Depending on their result at Wembley, Wolves will approach Brentford in aid to speak to their manager, Uwe Rosler.

Another x westbrom player

Steve Bull was an Ex West Brom player when we signed him. look how that turned out

For 5 games in a loan spell. Who cares? If he's a good manager I want him!

Bye Bye Moxey. Hello Souness. Director of Football

The guy played 5 games on loan he's hardly a loyal die hard ex player.

Hope so great manager with a massive future! IDM

Why does being an ex WBA player have anything to with things? If he is the best applicant for the job, who cares where he plied his trade?

Ian

He played as many games for them as Bully did.

At this moment in time I'd swap our whole team for West Brom's. And take their manager.

09 May 2013 19:15:54
Martin Swain hinted on twitter that maybe Jez will stay to complete negotiations on transfers in and out before next season starts and then may leave. It is not illogical that he is on 3 months notice (one way or the other), before mutually moving on.

08 May 2013 09:23:59
Moxey will leave Wolves on Friday morning.

Source: Various rumours from various levels of reliability and the fact there has been no statement frolem Moxey on Dean Saunders sacking, our relegation or our hunt for a new manager. (Something he has always done in the past)

Here's hoping.

1) Owen Coyle & Backroom in,
2) New Chief Exec in,
3) Clear out the disgraceful mercenaries.

Three simple things to get the fans back on side Steve! Go for it!

If the above happens then Yes, Steve Morgan is doing what he said.

Owen Coyle is the man for me.

Go on Mr Morgan, sack Moxey - the bloke is poison

Coyle turned down Blackpool in Feb because of personal term let's hope we don't fail for same reason.

Oh I do hope the Moxey rumours are true, The guy is an expensive liability.

08 May 2013 01:29:46
I'll throw a name in there for our new manager, no one has mentioned yet. Synonymous with goalscoring attributes and bought through by the best manager ever. Ole Gunnar Soljskaer

Your in the 3rd tier of english football you plum youve got no chance

08 May 2013 06:13:15
15 months ago maybe but NOT the position we are in now. Just heard Ferguson snr considering stepping down, have the bookies got the wrong one on their radar?
Dj wolf

Don't think he would won't to go to a third division team we are not the big club you think we are

Go back to sleep and stop dreaming

Sell O'Neil the chance to build his own team for the premier and pay him to do so.

Check where molde are in the Norwegian league, you might change your mind. jayt.

08 May 2013 01:26:54
Just heard from Dan Morgan the club is taking there time and the Jackett rumour is only just speculation and just media putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5

Excuse my ignorance, what's Dan Morgan's role within Wolves?
