How u work that out - he on tour with wolves , stated turned 1st offer from wolves down but wants stay and kj said wolves want keep him and working on resolveing the issue - so seeing as fulham had 2 bids rejected and they not going offer 4m plus that wolves would want think it more than likeley he will sign an improved contract in nxt few weeks

08 Jul 2015 12:14:43
Lol I very much doubt it mate.

We would let his contract run out before letting him go to a promotion rival for 1m.

We did it with Sako and we were offered a lot better money.

He is just as important to the team as Sako was.

Well Bunny Rabbit you sir are a clown. Played in the first pre season game!

08 Jul 2015 20:48:08
Why do you think because he played 45 minutes of a pre-season kickabout he is going to stay? If he does not sign a new contract he will leave.

Watched the goals highlights on social media flat was awful on the goal

It's key to get someone in ASAP!

There is no way McDonald has been just as important as Sako. He has almost cost us so many points from mistakes such as the Leeds pass and red cards like the one against Brentford at Christmas. He is over rated in my opinion and imagine what we could get from abroad for £1.25mil. There is so many cheap good players from eredivise and Ligue 1 as well as the bundesliga 1&2. I know home grown is ideal but to get promoted I'll take young talent from anywhere.

09 Jul 2015 11:21:19
Well done on picking up 2 mistakes. what about a defensive midfielder getting 11 assists was it I'm sure he gained us considerably more points then lost last season. He has been our most influential and consistent player for the past two seasons and is the best central midfielder we've had since Paul Ince. Plus he hasn't had the perfect partner which would realease McDonald higher up the pitch but now with bringing in Coady who I think is a very good signing will improve McDonald although his shooting is quite pants which imo is his only area he needs to improve

09 Jul 2015 11:39:02
McDonald did mistakes as did all our players. At times he was singled out in midfield and pressured. However a lot of Afobe and Dicko's goals were assisted by him with through balls from the middle of the park. I'm pretty sure only one of Afobe's gls cme from a Sako pass.

09 Jul 2015 12:26:26
Bit harsh on mcdonald @gavlar11 he makes mistakes yes but afterall he is only human we all make mistakes and learn from them.
If he signs a new contract awesome if not then so be it but I think he will sign a new deal.

09 Jul 2015 12:47:30
Gavlar do you seem to forget the games sako went completely missing? Sako provided a lot with his goals and assists yes. But when sako didn't want to know he was a waste of space. When dicko was injured earlier on in the season sako went missing completely

09 Jul 2015 16:47:57
Gavlaar you mean like Doumbia?

How did he do again?

I can believe you don't rate McD he is our best CM since Ince and Rae.

Can see both sides of the Mcdonald argument, I don't think he's as good as some of our fans say he is, but he certainly isn't a bad player, and to say he's cost us more points than he's won for us is ridiculous. Yes Mcdonald struggled mid season last year but so did the rest of the squad. When Price came back into the team Mcdonald improved a lot, had more freedom, not to mention the assists he got when Afobe came back into the team. And for the "mistakes" and "cost goals" for us, that's the way KJ has set us up, try and keep possession and work with the ball, this style of football will always offer a lot of space for a mistake, as one mis placed pass may leave the opposition in on goal. At the same time Mcdonald deserves praise, he also deserves criticism for the way he's made it public about his contract situation, I don't know the ins and out about it but from what I've read I'm not happy with his professionalism this summer

Agree other teams singled him out as our playmaker and pushed him deeper. We need to find a formation that puts him further forward so we can maximise his creativeness.

12 Jul 2015 14:03:41
I just don't fully rate him, I didn't say he was a bad player. I feel he either blows extremely hot or cold. A player I like who hadn't had much of a chance is Edwards. I simply said he isn't as important as sako. I think we should sell him as that's decent money for him and get a really experienced player who has prem experience and then a young player on loan from a big team. Hopefully should bring innovation and composure in our centre of midfield and then have 2 creative players out wide to give Afobe and Dicko as many chances as possible to score a tonne of goals

12 Jul 2015 14:06:07
Also where did doumbia come into it sbrek? I said sako and McDonald, no one else. I just think there's a lot of players who could be more consistent than McDonald. He's a decent player but I think we need someone else, especially with this whole contract thing and mentioning Fulham, just trying to stir to get more money on his contract

Someone was telling me on Friday when I was at the training ground about conor ronan because I didn't know who he was and then someone came over and started talking to me and said you see that little kid with ginger hair well that's conor ronan and I've just been talking to someone I know who works here he was telling that me. And that Kj wants conor ronan apparently to be playing first team games at molineux at some point next season so hopefully be another good young kid that comes through and does well and from what I've seen of him he'll be a player and half

08 Jul 2015 17:40:57
Who was they telling you about mat?

08 Jul 2015 21:36:16
