Ok here's the thing forest fans, you want sako on loan now, paying us x amount in January, now if sako breaks his leg in that time you'll send him back and how will that be good for wolves? You've disrupted the player so that he's now refused to play twice so its forest unsettling the player not wolves, remind us how you lot were all indignant when van hoojdoink did exactly the same to you lot!! Glass houses etc, wolves have told forest what we want, it's not changed since August, your board haven't met all the criteria so we've not let him go, end of

That sums it up perfectly great post

Why on earth would forest pay a total of 5 million for a division 1 player?, forest met wolves evaluation but wolves kept changing the price plus wanted paterson on loan, your clubs run by that moxley clown, you haven't a clue what your doing. no wonder sakos angry and wants to go on strike, who wants to play in division 1 anyway, specially when his evaluation got met, get your facts straight!

Forest fans are so so desperate to sign sako you really think you are one of the biggest clubs lol derby have bigger crowds than you and don't think they are the biggest and best club ever! If you do sign sako it will be a deal that is best for us jez will make sure of that!

What a load of rubbish just a 2 bit club trying to get a player on the cheap nobody's moved the goal posts
you just haven't got the money so you resort to underhand tactics by unsettling the player and hoping player pressure will force the move.
cheap tactics from a cheap club

We have money but not going to be held to ransom by a division 1 club.

Once your parachute payments stop you'll be begging for half what you're asking now, we can't buy him until January and the loan will have a cast iron agreement in the paperwork to buy at the end of it. All this garbage about 'if he breaks his leg you'll send him back' It's professional football, that's the most ridiculous statement I have heard so far

We (forest) do have money but just because we are spending efficiently and carefully, that makes us a cheap club? I don't think so. I for one hope sako moves to forest but also hope sako doesn't become to unsettled, in the mean time let's just wait and see.

I remember when Forest were in League One. I don't remember the two fans who still went piping up back then. Pay up or clear off, it's that simple. Either way we'll see you next season for another 5 goal home thumping on the banks of the Trent.

Please could someone provide me with prof that Sako refused to play both times. Thanks.

Wolves have really buggered this up. Should've kept it quiet instead of running to the press every five minutes (probably in the hope of sparking a bidding war). Completely mis-managed the player and now he rightly feels unsettled.

And all this 'if he breaks his leg. ' nonsense. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. The deal would be agreed to go through even if both his legs fell off and his head exploded.

Forest bought Guedioura from us for £1m and sold him for £2.5 m. Looking for another profitable deal, not prepared to pay a proper valuation. The loan of Paterson was suggested as an alternative to a loan fee for Sako which seems very reasonable to me. After all, Sako is plying in our first tam and Paterson is not first choice at Forest. Sako is therefore a bigger loss to us than Paterson would be to Forest. PW

The deal would go through but not until January. This is why the change of goalposts. Wolves have accepted it but then said hang you have 1 of our best players and we can't replace him until January as we have no funds to replace him so therefore give us a loan fee to utilise now. He is a Wolves player so either pay up or clear off and let us deal with a player we may or may not of unsettled.

Am I a bit naive here to say that if we don't want to sell Sako then we don't have to? Other clubs can grumble away as far as I am concerned.

Re: the post about when parachute payments run out we'll sell for half the price. There's a strong chance Wolves and Forest will be in the same league before that, even a chance Wolves could be back in the prem before Forest. Not saying it will happen however bit perplexed on why everyone seems to think he will be playing prem footy with Forest.

If you didn't want to sell why hold talks!
Think you need to look at your own management before calling others

Why doesn't Sako or his agent come out and say he's happy at Wolves and want to help the club get promotion? Because the truth is he wants out! Hope we can get a deal sorted soon that benefits Wolves and we can move on and get promotion! Paul Tamworth

Sooner he's gone the better and forest should pay up or shut up keep on how much money they have but won't spend wonder why macarthy didn't go to your club when had interview was it because it was not all what it was supposed to be seams funny to me

Sako unbalances our side and will offer nothing on a cold winter day but a note saying he has a sniffle.

Love the fact wolves feel they have this Devine right to get promoted this season, orient, Peterborough, Walsall etc are more than capable of occupying those top places and then It's the lottery of the play offs. We have been there and It's a difficult league to get out of. We will take him at a cut price when you fall short this season and you'll be wondering why you didn't take what was on offer in order to strengthen

After watching wolves against my beloved shrews, where there was absolutely no difference between the teams, I think they will struggle to get up in the automatic places.there is certainly better teams than wolves in this league

Wolves has a better squad with more depth than the likes of Leyton Orient and Peterborough as well as the money. On current form we're on course for over 100 points and if we can't get promoted like that there's something seriously wrong.

What was the score again shrew boy?

Good job the ref give you the penalty, because you would have been there till midnight trying to score.like I said absolutely no difference between them teams.admit the fact that you are in same league as us and smallsall.btw didn't Walsall win 1-0------- not so big after all are we!!

Let's see where wolves and walsall are at the end of the season, shall we, look foward to your comments then ;)

Fed up about sako sulking all the time forest cough up the extra money and take him now instead of waiting till january because we all now he will go then and we can use money to buy player who has his heart in the club and his a team player who plays for 90 min. wolfy

09 Oct 2013 07:51:46
He is not sulking.

You hold on to a very unhappy player, then WHEN you fail to go up we will take him at a snip of the price, the truth is there are better teams than you in league one. Enjoy the play-offs maybe you will get lucky.

Rumour that he is in Nottingham today.

If you had a team of sakos you would never play a game of football he is not bigger than club we all know he will be gone in jan.good riddance I say forest are to blame claiming to have plenty money but will not part with a few extra bob if is hearts not in club let him go and get somebody in who wants to p[lay for our beloved f.c.cant see why he wants to go there anyway premier side yes but to go to forest when they are not certain of promotion is silly in my opinion

Rumours in the paper he's gone to France.

A few extra bob?? Ok you go to a garage and look at a car that's worth £1000 the garage owner says he wants 5,000 would you buy it. Its only a few extra bob.

Didn't clownty put you out the cup last night (fair enough it was the some sort of paint, made up cup for little teams who have no realistic chance of progressing in the real cups cup) but they still put the mighty wolves out. So that's 2 things Nottingham teams taking from you this week.come on sako, join the fawaz andaBilly revolution, you reds!!

Well if I thought a car was only worth 1 grand and the garage wanted 5 grand I would not enter in negotiations to purchase it and I sure as hell wouldn't ask for a test drive. So the outcome is pay up or p*** **f.

Massive wolves------ 5000 was it last night, ah well you are in league1 after all.btw keep practising the penalties

10 Oct 2013 11:29:33
If the garage wanted 5 grand I'd offer 3 plus a trade in - if I really wanted that car which I hoped to pick up for 1. This is how business works as Forest well know. Why would I complain in public about the garage (Wolves)? What would I be achieving?

"Hello Mr Moxey, can I call you Jez?, I represent Nottingham Forest. I guess you know why I'm calling. Here's the deal. £4m for the player if you let us have him on loan now."

JM: "Hello and thanks for the offer. We'll need to go away and think about that. As you know we don't need to sell the player and clearly we want to get the best deal for the club in the event that we do sell. I'll be in touch."

JM to KJ "Kenny can you keep young Mr Sako informed that there's still interest in him. It's fair that he hears from us first."

KJ to BS "The Mox has been talking to Forest again. No idea if he'll let them speak to you or not. Just keeping you in the loop."

BS "Je prefere le Premier League mais Forest zey are OK. Zis feels un peu strange when je suis concentrating on zer training with zer lads."

KJ "Understood. I won't pick you if you're mind is elsewhere anyway. Take care and keep up the training."

Not sure about the Sako impersonation there. But mostly amazed how much this topic has run.
