Hi This is my first post, I have been a Wolves supporter for 50 years is this really happening?

Zenga_Burger's Tweet:

Just a fan account mate

May be true though and hopefully it is.

07 Aug 2016 20:31:04
Wolves are after Chris Martin from Derby would be a good signing his scored against us a few times.

07 Aug 2016 21:10:27
I'd love him, Martin, Bodvarrson and Dicko is one hell of a striking trio, forget MSN, MBD.

07 Aug 2016 21:59:27
Don't like him as a person but cannot take away how good he is . Would be a good signing but cannot see Derby letting him leave.

07 Aug 2016 22:16:44
Dicko, Martin, Talisca, Bodvarsson, Teixiera, Costa: Now that's power. Add a quality centre half or two with experience and Wolves really will be going somewhere at long last.

07 Aug 2016 22:28:03
We need speed speed speed can't have to many grant hilts.

07 Aug 2016 22:36:52
Add Saville to that and you've got BDSM haha.

I've posted this in lots of places but it passes away as thread do. It should make it clear why Fosun would want to do this.

goo.gl/Scr7Ys

The Chinese Corporate world has adopted a culture of wolf totem / wolf spirit, where the wolf pack represents being enterprising and competing fiercely to win (like Western Capitalism) but as a team and for the sake of their community (like Chinese Communism) . It's like the wolf pack is the symbol of future China.

So Wolves FC could be massive in China, among their wealthy progressive outward looking middle class who Fosun target as their main market, by naturally fitting into China's existing wolf chic culture. And it means we work perfectly as the Champion leading identity of Fosun to the World.

It's already manifesting in Jeff binning Kenny (who didn't have wolf spirit and passion) and replacing him with Walter who does have wold spirit and "fire". And we saw how well that team passion worked in 2nd half against Rotherham.

And on Nathan Judah's twitter day Zenga was announced, there's a photo of a new photo background that Fosun have introduced, that said "the strength of the wolf is in the pack". They are already clearly trying to implement Chinese wolf spirit culture, to make us the living embodiment of it. I think it all adds up to the fact they mean for us to be massive and it's totally viable :-)

You know what Ulf you are spot on with that Mateus watched all of the clips since Zenga's appointment in You Tube about an hour ago and only just picked in what Jeff said properly when he mentioned the 'Wolf Pack' and that Zenga is like a Wolf, although I already believe that Fosun mean business as in this is their business and they want us to be big, I now truly believe that this (Wolves Project) is something they feel spiritually and deadly serious about and I don't think we need to worry about achieving something special with these guys

We will once again be a force in the top division.

08 Aug 2016 01:53:28
I think they must think well of us Wolves fans too, in terms of us fitting it. The last contribution on that Chinese wolf-chic article I linked describes about how the best companies / organisations have suffered great pain but kept on and won through, like a wolf-pack and survival of the fittest. That's our - "This is our love it knows no division" banner, it perfectly fits the never give up / stick together as a wolf-pack mentality.

Then there's what Ince said about us being the most passionate fans in the Country. I think this is a perfect match, Fosun don't want just Wolves FC for themselves and to change it, they want it as it really is / should be, unleashed and empowered, and us too, we're part of the wolf brand and they want us to be on board and passionately supporting it all, as the 12th man / wolf.

I still think we may need to be patient (as the Chump is tough and they are still learning the ropes of it, Zenga too), it may not work out this season, but if it doesn't that's just hardship they'll want to win through to prove they're wolves too and make it work long-term.

And I'm fully backing Zenga, I think he'll get the Mendes support to make it work because he's such a perfect fit as a wolf pack leader, Fosun saw that against Rotherham and I think Fosun will be determined to make it work with him.

How lucky we are the town wasn't named after Lady Thrush and became Throstlehampton :-P.

Just had a text from a good friend who tells me Martin is in talks already. He is a family friend of the Martin family from Norfolk who play golf regularly.

08 Aug 2016 06:41:14
He's also talking to Norwich. His dad is a big Norwich fan but says Wolves offer of wages may be the thing in our favour.

08 Aug 2016 07:11:30
if this with anderson comes off new owners have done more in three weeks than morgan in 9 years.

08 Aug 2016 07:40:07
Chris Martin from Derby? Yes please.
To think, the level of Kenny Jackett's ambitions seemed to be his constant attempts to buy the useless Chris Woods. Woods didn't look up to much against QPR yesterday.
If wages are the factor between Chris Martin choosing between us and Norwich, where is that skinflint Jez Moxey when you need him? Jez mate, think about balancing the books, slap a wage cap on, you can't sign Chris Martin for more than a tenner a week, there's a good boy.

08 Aug 2016 08:26:41
It's the 8th of the 8th. That's definitely lucky for Chinese, like they had the 2008 Olympics.

Maybe today we'll get the unveiling of Talisca?

08 Aug 2016 08:38:31
Deep throat as much as I slated moxey I think we should relax a little on him now. Would we be owned by foson now if he hadnt balanced the books. He may of accidently done exactly what was needed so think he's had his share of stick now lol.

08 Aug 2016 09:24:15
Sort out that back four that's what keeps letting us down. Goals against, speaks for itself.

08 Aug 2016 09:33:17
Bentley, ironically that's the other side of the coin. If Morgan and Moxey hadn't made a priority of balancing the books, we might not have found ourselves under Fosun ownership. Turned out for the best. We'll let M&M rest in peace now.

08 Aug 2016 10:02:45
There's also the fact that Fosun wanted us because we are Wolves FC, they specifically said it was better than the club only being known by its UK town name, which is harder for people in China to relate to than 'Wolves'.

So Fosun have no need to be attached to Wolverhampton itself, and I wouldn't have been surprised if one day they proposed a move to a big new stadium out of Wolverhampton. However, Morgan and Moxey putting up that new stand may save it for Molineux, that new stand is too big an investment / value to walk away from and rebuild elsewhere. It was bad at the time because we should have spent the money on team to stay in Prem, but now it will probably guarantee Molineux, which if so is great and something to be grateful for.

08 Aug 2016 10:44:15
Ulf, two weeks ago you weren't a wolves Fan anymore due to the Fosun takeover. And I won't even mention MoneyS. Make up your mind, you're full on one way one day, the opposite the next, then back more forceful than before a week later. I'm dizzy, and not just from re-reading this wolves symbol theory again and again like I'm in groundhog day.

08 Aug 2016 11:19:46
Moxey was my problem, I completely lost trust in him due to the Moneyshop stitch up (and it was a stitch up dumped on us a legally binding 3yr deal) . Moxey has been in the way of our biggest asset all along, our identity, and that just looked to have killed it dead.

Then I believed the ITK rumour that there were 2 different Chinese buyers queuing, when Fosun were first announced as buyers and not Robin Li, I thought Moxey had stitched it up with them, and our identity was still going to be ignored, that we'd get run into the ground because of it.

But then as soon as it was announced Moxey was leaving, I took a proper look at Fosun and began to realise we weren't getting stitched up, and that they'd bought us precisely because of our identity and to make the most of it, which was everything I'd hoped for.

And the wolf-culture thing isn't a theory, it's the larger context that makes this make sense and is definitely a good thing. And I've only reposted about it, because I'm not allowed to post on Mol Mix where it would form a discussion point and be seen and considered by most, so I've posted it here, but threads pass on fast and many who aren't regular won't have seen it. And I feel I need to get people to understand this, because some of the opinions on Mol Mix about what Fosun (and Zenga) are about are so way off mark it's crazy. I think if I can get people to see the larger context, they'll understand why Zenga and give him more full support instead of criticising.

Hopefully when we become a bigger club, either Mol Mix will stop with the intellectual and opinion censorship, or we'll get other forums that are more inclusive of arty / challenging types like me :-)

07 Aug 2016 16:47:04
Wolves interested in signing mainz forward maxi beister .

07 Aug 2016 17:51:23
Never heard of him but we have to sign him for the entertainment value of his name. it would be the gift that keeps on giving.

07 Aug 2016 18:07:18
He sounds like a rite boiler ;)

07 Aug 2016 18:29:32
Hardly prolific is he.

07 Aug 2016 18:50:15
Why are we going for injury prone players. His last injury was one of the reasons why Haneover sold him to Maniz last year. Also he is not a striker he is a right midfielder with no potential and has awful ball control when put under pressure.

07 Aug 2016 19:27:53
How the hell do u no what butti is doing lolol.

07 Aug 2016 19:55:57
He wouldn't be prolific considering he's a right winger to replace Henry

goo.gl/FHSQ4m

07 Aug 2016 20:28:00
But when he does score wow.

07 Aug 2016 20:36:49
Yh I've been on 3 sites about him and o e says striker second says winger and 3rd say cm I don't think no one knows.

07 Aug 2016 21:35:07
He's a right winger.

07 Aug 2016 11:57:14
according to the Mormons of Molineux mix they say talisca is to be announced Monday.
we are wolves and we are back!

07 Aug 2016 14:47:36
I think one or two on there would be better described as MoreMoans lol, they are devout atheists who refuse to believe in anything till it's happenedm rubber stamped and been put in their lap, and demand that it should happen immediately.

It seems after years of sensible drudgery under Moxey, there's a few need to rediscover their imagination and faith, though given time, surely they'll have to be overcome by our new passionate way.

Walter Zenga, at least as a personality is a star, who we should want to be like as a team and I think we're very lucky to have him. With decent players through Mendes (Talisca and other continentals who'll relate well to Walter) and once we've gelled and found our feet, I think there will be no stopping us. I hope Walter will be here for a very long time, I hope he's our new Cullis in this more modern cosmopolitan World.

07 Aug 2016 14:54:17
Mormons Gee?

07 Aug 2016 16:21:03
Talisca set 2 travel 2 wolves and finalise the deal maybe tomorrow according to report news now.

07 Aug 2016 16:35:40
Jimmy, his version sounds better.

07 Aug 2016 18:25:10
Is it safe to assume that if Talisca isn't announced tomorrow, the deal probably isn't happening? Seems like its been going on forever!

07 Aug 2016 21:16:25
Yes well a month or so anyway but nothing suggests it won't happen.

07 Aug 2016 09:52:01
From Portuguese paper Ojogo 30 mins ago - O anúncio da transferência de Talisca para o Wolverhampton, que tem sido retardado pela demora na emissão de uma licença de trabalho em terras britânicas, poderá suceder nas próximas horas

Or translated lol

The Talisca transfer announcement to Wolverhampton, which has been delayed by the delay in the issuance of a work permit in Britain, may happen in the coming hours.

07 Aug 2016 10:04:00
Hope this happens today so we can all move on from this story and get on to the next big transfer (hopefully)

With the Benfica president also still here they could be just waiting for Talisca to arrive now that he has got the Permit so that Guangchang, Shi, Talisca and the Benfica Pres can take all the photos at the new Theatre of Dreams (all wishful thinking but could be true)

07 Aug 2016 10:34:22
Let's hope Benfica have a goalkeeper and CB we can sign aswell because ikeme and Batth not good enough. Surely Zenga will see ikeme isn't good enough he was a keeper after all.

07 Aug 2016 10:42:49
Hopefully mendes has a good relationship with taliscas agent and can tap up another of his players. Gabriel Barbosa A right winger for Brazil and santos. Only £17millon :) unrealistic I know! Anyone fancy a season long loan with a view to permanent deal?

07 Aug 2016 10:48:20
Totally agree need a new goalkeeper and centre back.

07 Aug 2016 11:16:37
All under performers will make way for better players soon enough

I'm with you Jonnyk we need better quality in every position and all but a few of our original team would make up the squad

The only players I would start from our original squad of last season would be:

Graham
Dicko
Zyro

But all would have competition from new players

Iorfa - bench
Hause - bench
Ikeme - bench
Batth - bench
Doherty - bench
Evans - development squad
Price - development squad
Edwards - bench
Wallace - development squad
Byrne - development squad
Mason - bench.

07 Aug 2016 11:42:58
We should get more quality players hopefully this week and replace the ones that don't perform until Texeira came on it was a shambles in midfield bodvarsson impressive debut does anyone now if Scott sellers is still in charge of the u21s or has he gone.

07 Aug 2016 11:49:19
Sorry can't trust a bloke who calls his self gold finger and has a picture of blofeld lol.

07 Aug 2016 11:57:43
What is Andy Lonergan like?
Could he challenge Ikeme?

07 Aug 2016 12:12:24
Thay wonted do that. price ect will be load out or sold.

07 Aug 2016 13:00:24
Goldfinger r u for real iorfa and hause on the bench not long ago palace was after both of em I think u won't a totally different team mate.

07 Aug 2016 13:11:49
Didn't you see the photos of talisca at the game yesterday.

07 Aug 2016 13:44:57
Bart got high praise from pundits and an ex defender on talk sport. haha.

Funny how this team nearly made playoffs and now not called good enough. Bart, iorfa, hause and rest need to leave Wolves now. Wolves don't deserve them. I hope they do well and make the plastic gold fans regret their words.

Bart has one bad season and he is called up hill and down dale. Zenga draws on match in a career that is basically the same as a 2-2 draw is treated like a God.

07 Aug 2016 14:20:01
Talisca wasn't at the game yesterday.

07 Aug 2016 16:24:26
Where on earth does this belief in Zyro come from. Flattered to deceive with goals in his opening game but then showed very little, then injured. I know it is a bad injury and result of really bad tackle but is prone to niggling injuries. I, for one, need to see a lot more before I would count him as one for the future.

07 Aug 2016 16:41:43
PixelWolf,

I don't know how many games you go to?

Batth has one bad season, one bad season!

he's a liability as was demonstrated all through last season, can't tackle, can't pass to our own players and can't be allowed to stay under the New Wolves.

07 Aug 2016 17:14:35
Not even going to argue with anyone regarding Wolves players and their quality / lack of quality

What does Batth do when he gets the ball?
Do you watch Wolves play at all, what's his pass rate, tackle rate, he has potential as do Iorfa and Hause but they shouldn't be who we rely on.

We do need better now not in 2 years which Iorfa and Hause need but we haven't had the money to buy good enough replacements, Batth might come good this season but only with a quality centre half by his side.

07 Aug 2016 18:13:27
Why do you think we call him 'calamity Batth' or 'clogger'? Enough said.

07 Aug 2016 19:47:47
Didn't you see the photos Dan?

07 Aug 2016 19:48:52
T hey were on the e&s but have been pulled. He came over with the benfica president.
