Dave Jones appointed sheff wed manager at the same time we were after a new manager , has guided them to promotion to the championship by winning 10 and drawing 2, while we have been losing every game , with the odd bore draw in between. We played our best football with dave jones as manager, we should have brought him back ,we would have been safe now and moxey could have kept his beloved TC! Oh well that will be another ex manager to come back and haunt us next season!

Not too far from reality as Dave Jones looked as if he was likely to take us back down to division 1.

As much as I like Dave Jones, he overspends at every club he's been at... look at were Southampton were after he left, Stockport are now, both ourselves and Cardiff needing taking over as the money had run out {Ed001's Note - are you for real?? Southampton were in great shape under him, it was well after he went and they got relegated that they got into trouble trying to chase promotion under Redknapp. Stockport got into trouble after hiring Gary Megson, he came in and gave out long term contracts to players like confetti. Many he had never even seen play and never gave them a chance to play for the club, and the club were stuck with them. He took over Cardiff when they already in trouble and had to sell to keep the club afloat constantly.}

Sheff Wed in League 1 is a different ball game. Jones would be better than TC but long term is not the answer.

Oleg Luzhny, Isaac Okoronkwo, Silas, Henri Camara, Steffen Iversen, Cedric Roussel to name a few disasterous Jones signings

I saw the pitch invasion on the tv and a nice shot of Danny Batth being swamped by the Wednesday fans.

Let's hope we don't do anything stupid and sell him.

Dave jones has a good cv regarding spending - good manager too.

Okoronkwo wasnt a bad player tbf when he accually played silas i liked along with roussel (wasnt he before jones though i remember him on champ manager 01

I don't think Dave Jones would have kept us up, i doubt anybody who was realistically available to us could have. I like him and i think he did the best he could with the 5 million he was only given when we went up in 2003. Silas, Okoronko, Camara, the horse & Craddock were all he could get to strenghen a team that finished 5th in the championship. He didn't stand a chance that season.

In all fairness dave jones only had 6million to spend when they was in the prem last so u cant really call tht overpending when hayward had the other 19 or so million in his back pocket

So fed up with everything wolves right now. Need an end to this footballing hell and a new start. Cant wait for last game to be over and the mighty wolves put to sleep. Let's hope we wake up soon!

Just read TCs comments, he goes on about hard work and commitment but not once does he mention quality! We are not a Sunday league team, we are meant to be a professional set up and with that you need quality, I really hope he goes we won't be at the right end of the league next season if we just have a team that run a lot!

read moxeys coments in program he makes it sound like we have improved so much under conner.what rubish.we avant won a game under this man and moxey still sings his praises.

Because he's his brother-in-law thats why! Let's face facts were stuck with the both of them!

Hearing rumours that Steve Morgan was having pictures with fans after the game and got into another argument with a fan who was taunting him. I don't blame Morgan as much as the other Ms for us going down but he has stop doing such stupid things like this. Stop trying to argue with the fans, he can't apologize enough so keep saying sorry and he has to tell us what is happening in regards to the managerial situation within a week of the final day.

I spoke to morgan outside, he sed he wants us to come straight back up and he wants the players to stay.

where was morgans speach.hes a gutless wonder.

You forget we are only fans of the club

deffo happening fletch to southampton o'hara to fulham hammil to reading due to the fact he was a trouble maker doyle leaving n johnson going to 1st club that bids

kites 100% staying jarvis staying unless some one comes in with stupid money you wont find this anywhere i trust my scource some one from in side the club

If you know so much from an wolves insider whos is the next wolves manager then

Fair point...

BORING.Make plausible stuff up at the very least.

Fletch to southampton....b****cks! When he leaves this summer it will be to a team that is established in the prem, not a newcomer that is likely to struggle.

Nothing much else to talk about so here goes -
Fletch will go, but Sunderland over Saints?
O'Hara, v likely to go, Fulham why not?
Hammill - hope not, would like him to give it a go next season with us. Do. Guedioura.
Doyle, again probably a cert, Everton?
Johnson, how many wolves fans would drive him?
Kites staying - good, but not surprising.
Jarvis, hmm, likely to go and, my guess, not necessarily for studid money - may not be much of that left in the Prem. That looks like the usual suspects taken care of, oh wait a minute, Henners - where to for Wales' finest?
Otherwise, clean sheet, scoreless draw, Sunday afternoon.

I got this from a scout at wolves n no one no's who the next manager will be dont belive me in not bothered ill just laugh when it happens though hammill n johnson were trouble makers thats well publisized (spelling)

How you no saints will struggle everyone thought sawnsea norwich n qpr the latter did but get my drift

Saints not going to struggle tbh. It's the teams that languish in the lower end of the prem and get complacent and don't invest that are most at risk. Like this season with ourselves, Bolton, Wigan, even Villa nearly getting caught with the relegation scrap. Unfortunately clubs in the prem tend to get stale and lose inspiration and momentum.

Add 3 promoted clubs with strong backbones from a successful championship campaign, full stadiums, promotion payouts, extra TV revenue, momentum and excitement, willingness to survive and sign new players and establish the club...

Honestly how it goes now a days i never favour the newly promoted teams to go down. Used to be two of the three would go down and the other one left scraping. Now it's two get mid-table and one left scraping. No reason why it won't happen next year unless Bolton/QPR/Wigan/Villa/Stoke/Swansea/Norwich/Sunderland make some big changes to up their game next year, they can easily have a bad season and go down unless they invest.

The struggling teams next season tend to be those that were on a downturn at the end of this season. Villa and Stoke are a good bets to struggle I would say, as well as promoted teams. Reading and Southampton look good I have to say. Maybe Swansea and Norwich will find their second season harder.

In the Championship, the other relegated teams will be strong, perhaps less so Blackburn (likely to go down) as will those teams where managers are establishing themselves like Middlesborough and Brighton.

My insider at the club is mad mick.

According to the might of the Sun , Houghton will be the baggies next manager regardless if Brum get promoted or not ,due to Brum's poor financial state. If this is true I hope Holloway gets the job at managing us.

Can't see Brum losing their manager if they get promoted (which I don't think is likely). Who would they get as replacement?

With bookies offering 40-1 on Hughton I doubt this will be true.

just a thought steve morgan scouse peter reid scouse they probably move in the same circles probably friends i think there could be a link he could be the guy coming in

If we are going with liverpool type links why not Houllier as DOF, its no where near as stressful as manager and his is much more current than monkey head.

Hmm no thanks didnt really do much at vile players were glad when he left

At the vile where he was not a DOF you nugget

It seems all bookies have stopped taking bets on the next permanent Wolves manager, please say announcement tonight and manager unveiled at the game tomorrow

Any one taken a look at oddschecker tonight?... Wolves have been removed completely...?
Nothing on, no perm manager betting, manager on 1st game of season

Unfortunately for us it probably means they think that TC has got the job!!

Please god no !

Calm down Wulfs. The usual suspects on Oddschecker as last time I looked (Clarke, Bruce, Poyet, Reid, Ferguson)
