Greg Wylde not really prem standard and is already talking to other clubs. Steven Davies a good player, sure. Stephen Naysmith also a good player. Steven Whittaker a decent defender. My guess is that Rangers' top players would rather be released from their contracts than accept a 75% pay cut (that's what's proposed) and have Rangers get a transfer fee. Plus the uncertaity they'll be paid at all. Free agent = new club straight away.
