Paul ince WANTS to manage us! Did you hear that everybody - somebody wants to manage us! Brings a tear to a glass eye.

Sure he wants to, but is he any bloody good? Proven record of a) success b) as a manager c) combined? Nope. Let's not waste time. There are only a few who can do this job and Incey ain't one of them.

Ince is just massaging his ego-he aint no good for us......

If they give Ince the job it will show how football naive this board really are and we will go though many many years of struggling ...I just pray they are not that naive but i fear the worst with them

007

I personally don't think Ince is the answer but he is showing and saying he wants the job and being passionate in what he is saying and lets be honest would you have wanted Alan Pardew before he went to Newcastle?

Our prestigious leaders want a manger with experience , lets be fair Ince has not achieved much in the managerial stakes , well not at Premier league or championship level.

I can think of a lot worse, he has always wanted the wolves job, he may have a few short comings but wouldnt be the worst appointment

He's achieved a lot more than lee clarke or OGS

Wouldn't surprise me if Incey gets the job. He's desparate for it - to prove he can manage a team into the prem if nothing else. Being fired from the prem must have hurt and he wants another go even if it means starting in the champ.

Absolutely fuming with those jokers running our club. They spoke to Ray Wilkins about job only to tell him they giving it to TC. well done really well done thanks for nothing morons! Protest protest protest!

Great another fan who knows whos to blame for this mess. these jokers will destroy our club.we must all protest at the arsenal game loud and clear to let them know we want them out. the team must hear also beacause half of them have let us down and we dont want these socalled players wearing our shirts.

I read this today didn't know about the call, TC living up to what was expected Wilkins would have given us a chance something different I gave these guys the benefit but doubt overshadows this now

How do you know about Wilkins?

On Talksport website he confirmed his approach for job, dated 3rd of March

Well this just confirms what i thought all along Steve Morgan is being ill advised by the fat fella and the rest of the board. come the end of the season he should get rid of the dead wood board members and players. get Avran grant as director of football. Chris Hughton as manager and ray Wilkins as first team coach. football is like everything else in life you only get what you pay for.

I posted this weeks ago, the following week after they had rejected Wilkins.He added that although he had been rejected the 2 Ms had at least been in touch to tell him he had,nt got the job so thought they were very polite !.So guys while we have 2 useless t&*$s in charge,they are very polite ?

Ed001 Why was Wilkins turned down? If your gonna say what I think you are it's gonna light the blue touch paper! {Ed001's Note - as far as I can find out, it was just because he was not considered to be the right man for a number one's position. Connor is just a caretaker until the right man can be brought in and then that man will pick his own backroom staff.}

But they said to Connor if he proves himself he can have the job, the same premise should of been used for Wilkins a great coach and more tactically aware and if he didn't accept that then fair enough! {Ed001's Note - I can only go on what I am told. It doesn't mean I agree with it, just that is what I am told. Myself I think that change was clearly needed, a new broom to sweep clean as the coaches have not impressed me. I can't remember seeing a player improved by the coaches at Molineux, which suggests they aren't good enough.}

Thanks ed completely agree just more fraustrated than ever!

Hi Ed, Sorry to disagree but surely you must agree that Jarvis has improved greatly over the last 2 seasons? He states that he owes Mick and TC for helping him develop his potential with their coaching. It's just a shame that his talent will be displayed for another team next season. {Ed001's Note - no, I don't see any technical development in his game myself. His crossing is still wayward, and that should surely be the priority to work on for a winger?? Do you not agree?}

Nope i dont think jarvis is any better than he was in the championship, this is another promising player who came to us and as not been improved much ,,under the right management he could have been a real star but his crossing is poor

007

That agree on the above post is for the eds take on the situation.

You go on about Jarvis the same one who terrorised right n left backs for the 1st 2 seasons I remember at Chelsea he made cole look silly n he's the best left back in the world at the time

Amazing improvement in my view. So you all think he was on the verge of the England squad 3 years ago? Plus how many goals did he score in the Championship? Is he worth the same now as he was then? All this to me signals improvement in his game which hasn't happened without some assistance from the coach/manager of WWFC. I freely admit he is not the finished article but he is for me the one player we should be desperate to hang onto when the fat lady sings in the next week or two and I personally would prefer to keep him above Fletcher if ever that became an option. Have a look how many clubs are linked to his signature in the Summer and you can't tell me that the same clubs and managers would have been interested in Matt Jarvis 3 years ago surely?

I think ed is referring to the key marker of crossing leading to assists the same thing was said of CR9, Nani etc his general play has certainly improved all would agree. The finished article we don't have the capacity for that at the moment which goes back to the issue at the top of the post.

Jarvis hit his peak and got an England call-up. Never a second and, frankly, never really maintained that level anyway. A good player but not a great player.

I did not say he was great although he is surely the best player at Wolves, my point is that he has IMPROVED over the last 3 years.

Wake up you lot,Wolves have been crap for the past 3 seasons and only stayed up on goal difference for the past 2 this season has proven that you are and will always be a lower league club

Don't you just hate it when someone from Sandwell who'se been on a CLAIT course finds a Wolves website? Nothing better to do?
