Only know what I was told Paul that Laslett with Indian backing. This could have been misinterited as Asian backing. Will have to wait and see what comes out in the wash and indeed if Laslett has been involved in anyway. I don't think KJ will get the tin tac until the new owners are in place as it will be them that will have to pay him off. My only hope is that thelwell goes with him .

I believe Robin Li will be an investor in WWFC with Laslett being the face of the club and dealing with day to day works.

Not sure how true this is just herd rumors about Laslett being backed by Asian investors and Robin Li does fit that bill.

I can't see why Laslett would be involved he resigned before due to business commitmnts so why would he front someone with whom as far as we know he has no connections, suspect that because of the investment and brokering might involved and also new a new manageon standby that Mr Li will have someone of his own lined up as CEO.

As long as Balague keeps tweeting, everything will be ok - he is still absolutely certain all will be completed on Thursday/ Friday. He even said about them buying AC Milan before us, so why has everyone started to panic on here? It's all going to plan nicely for them and the second part of their plan (wolves) will be completed later this week.

If your asking why buy Wolves?, just look at the logo. Who else has an animal as a name/ logo in football? That symbolism in China is very important and Mr Li obviously has plans to take advantage of it. We will also end up with a very nice fan base in his country, as a result. We are the only club that I can think of whose commonly used name and club crest is directly that of an animal, though. My Dad lives in Thailand, and there's always someone knocking about reppin' a 2002/ 03 Wolves shirt. Can't see why we wouldn't obtain a huge following in Asia if we were established in the Prem.

Wolves are a fantastic investment. No debt, running itself, tier 1 youth academy, £30 million and if pump £30-40 mil in and you get promoted you get £100 mil tv revenue for starters then there's the sponsorship and added income. For me Wolves is a better buy than Villa (debt, team rebuilding)

I've been told 8th. Not from a contact within the club but a friend who is an agent (small time only 1 domestic international on his books) who does get on very well with Thellwell so that could be his source.

I have Chinese customers and they are wildly superstitious. I wouldn't be surprised if Robin Li wanted to announce the deal this Friday 8th July. Mind you someone has announced the AC Milan deal today. The Wolves deal is very personal to Robin Li so I guess superstition may play a part.

You need to remember this blokes wealth - around £10billion. At 2 percent interest (if my maths are correct) that's around £200 million a year interest! £30 million for us is small change. It also gives him free advertising and a UK base to promote/ expand his internet empire. Win, win.

Abyss I wrote last week that the Milan takeover was a consortium but not led by Robin Li but another bisiness associate. Mr Li will purly be one of 6 involved and I umderstand he is not the main lead in the process. I just wish Moxey would stop taking so many coffee and cake breaks and get our sale sorted.

I have to say I'm as excited as the next Wolves fan about a potential takeover. That said Kenny Jackett has brought integrity to the manager's role and has had 2 good years out of 3 years. It could have gone the wrong way when he took over (most of you won't remember the damage Tommy Docherty did to the club) but he won promotion at the first attempt and was unlucky not to get us in the play-offs the following year. I wasn't happy with last year but injuries, transfers and budgetary constraints seemed to be out of KJ's hands. He has conducted himself with dignity throughout this period of rumours and if he does have to depart I'll wish him well.
