Anybody heard anything about what's going on at Wolves? Lots of rumours - Griffiths to Celtic, Doyle to Leicester, Sako to Nottingham Forest and Hennessey to Crystal Palace. That's all very well but how much money would the manager be given to spend on players coming in and who might they be? That is the question!

Wolves will be lucky to get out of league 1, not playing the best football at the moment doubt anyone will come in for any of the players you speak of, the performances have let the fans down need to try harder.

Exactly that, rumours! money will, as always, be re invested

They made £5m profit in player trading last financial year. HOW COME THIS WAS NOT REINVESTED?

Henry signed by jackett jacobs if signed will be signed by jackett gimme thelwell a job.

Profits will be invested in the club, not just the playing staff, back to back relegations remember? Or would you rather the club go under? yeah thought so. We recently made a loss, a loss which would have been twice as big had the money not been re invested. Its a good job you don't run the club

Did we make a loss or did we just write off some of assets. Most of that loss was accountancy practise. All of the players had a value as we get relegated the player value is reduced. So the loss was about reducing the value of the club therefore reducing tax liability on the club.

I would be interested to know which players we are likely to make a profit on. Griffiths I guess. Sako perhaps? The others are worth less now than when we bought them, so writing off assets is the right thing to do.

I for one am happy that we're not over-spending. In fact I won't lose any sleep if we don't get promoted. I'd rather see some of the new players become established and maybe become the stuff of Wolves mythology like Bully did and Craddock and even SEB. I like seeing us win matches. The last 4 seasons have been a loss-feast. When we go up I want to be sure we stay up, not getting into the usual panic, sacking our manager and making emergency loan signings. That's not enjoyable.

Post 3 is the funniest ever on this site.

Doyle to Leicester? Why the hell would a side looking like they're already up want him?

Yeah funniest was it? even though people agree with it. Some people need to lay off fifa. I think people forget how much money solbakken spent, and guess what? we were relagated!

wolves to sign andy butler from walsall for around 500k

Not bad idea

Need a striker or two, someone with a poachers instinct and another strong pacy target man

Hope mr Matthew Jarvis is happy pickin up his filthy pay packet tonight along with his chivvy mates and hope me Wayne hennesey hangs his head in shame when he picks up his omg for an Alex Rae.fletcher will sell his soul to Celtic and take his badge kissin there but wait they won't match his 50k a week, I don't give a monkeys I don't want them or their likes at wwfc, getting fed up with the egos the greed.knowles broadbent Thompson bull dennison Kendall Murray Rae you are wolves you are why I love wwfc. Hennesey paid on the sick go to burnley with sick note kightly or go to Brighton with the talented s ward or sheff we'd with the great roger or better still rot with Jamie.i can't come out to play please please mr Morgan moxey thelwell whoever punish this person as you should have punished camara.nobody is bigger than Wolverhampton wanderers.let him rot.the realist.

That kind of money would keep walsall afloat for a few years. no more than 200k for someone his age

You speak for he people.realist spot on.

Why pick on Jarvis the lad never caused us an ounce of trouble handled is self with dignity and treated the club and fans with respect. never put in a transfer request was sold by the club

To be fair to Jarvis,, he did show loyalty and gave 100% whilst still playing for us

He was part of the rlegation party and should have stayed couldn't get out quick enough.

Ridiculous post, they are professional footballers and he was one of the few who was premier league quality. Got let down by those around him and took a move to deservedly play in the Premier League.

Had Jarvis of stayed do you think it would have made an ounce of difference to last season? all it would have done is ruin his reputation, as it has done for Doyle.

Wolves need to learn quickly by there mistakes, need strikers badly, something must have happened for all our strikers to play rubbish and now we have this trouble with hennesey, spitting is dummy out, let him go, the sooner the better I say

Why have a pop at Jarvis for? The lad got his head down and continued to play for us until he moved.

Kightly fletcher and Jarvis couldn't get away quick enough don't be fooled the only reason Jarvis stayed longer was Moxey wanted the extra dollar, can tell you for a fact, anyway good to see him humiliated and clueless yesterday what goes around.

Why slag Jarvis? Everyone has (well most do, some on here maybe not) ambition to do better for themselves. He is one our most outstanding players of recent times and we miss him badly. He always put in 110%. Some folks make me sick.

Yeah like all who slag off Doyle at least he had a sense of loyalty for the club and its fans, so Henri camara was right kightly was right they only wanted to better themselves some people make me sick, the realist.

Anyone who walks out on my club I take it personally, we forced Keane out and tried to force s g bull out and truthfully and hand on heart if it was me who'd took 20-25k a week and played in front of supporters who worshipped me the greed of the premier league would not turn my head.if we had given bully a year in the prem and got relegated would he have walked away.never ever, we overpaid kightly fletcher Jarvis et all, those who slag me and my comments are entitled to their opinion as much as I am, I bleed old gold wwfc are in my heart and soul if you choose to walk away you deserve nothing let alone my respect. The one the only realist.

Many true fans will agree Jarvis will always be welcomed back to Molinuex.

Oh a true fan, sorry 40 plus years thousands of pounds, that's why I'd boo the money grabbing thing because I'm not a true fan.the realist

Can I ask you a question, the realist? Did you think Matt Jarvis showed a complete lack of loyalty and was money grabbing when leaving Gilligham to move to Wolves? This is football!

The Jarvis example bears no resemblance to Kightly; Jarvis had been playing his heart out week in and week out and was earning his wages in a Wolves shirt. We then made a huge profit on him, in repayment for his development as a player while at Wolves.

Wolves to sign Kidderminster Harriers striker Joe Lolley for a fee rumoured to be around £200k

Good reports on him, but a lot of other clubs are apparently in for him too. When was the last time we beat off competition for a player!

Is he really the goal scoring solution we need now?

Yes but can he handle big games or will he MELT under the pressure

Career appearances 100 games 94 goals and 21 years old

Not bad scored in nearly every game or hat-tricks

He scored 88 of those goals in the midland combination league seriously he's nowhere near league 2 level let alone league 1 level Andre grey from Luton is a local lad and a much better goalscorer proven at that level over a number of seasons now also if talking about kiddy harriers players the centre half cheyanne dunkley is better prospect 22 years old and pace left foot right foot good in the air nice compliment for danny batth

05 Jan 2014 19:16:20

I don't know this player. But I would prefer an established striker. In fact someone like Leigh Griffiths would be about right!

I live in and watch kiddy a lot, lolley is worth a punt but hear he's close to Peterborough, dunkley is not good enough

We've got jake Cassidy for gods sake this guy is a talent.if we don't take a gamble we ain't got a chance forget wells Phillips or whoever you dream of Morgan ain't going to spend.the realist.

Steve bull who's he Albion reject sack turner what's he know why didn't we sign Andy cole know we're in division 4 but we are wolves.

Joe jolley is a winger not a strike and not good enough for league 1!

If he's scared 94 goals in 100 games frm the wing then we should definitely sign him

WILKO

07 Jan 2014 15:38:01
Most of the 94 goals scored were in the same leagues as stourbridge and halesowen and because he is an alright player in the conference people suddenly think he's good enough for top of league 1? W

Unlike Cassidy who scored 17 goals for Airbus.

Simon Cox is linked with Wolves, Kevin Phillips is on the verge of signing, currently discussing a coaching role at Wolves when he retires, he lives in the Midlands and is sick of travelling, Blackpool then Crystal Palace is not ideal and his son Toby is highly thought of in our academy! Also big rumour is Shaun Wright Phillips to replace Sako!

Wright philips would be nice but I reckon there is more chance of harry hill being given the role of captain, hope i'm wrong

There is no way Kevin Philips is coming to the us.

Wright-Phillips?

I think joe lolley would be allright. But him and another 2 strikers would be good. Maybe get rid of at least one of the strikers we got atm.

Wright-Phillips is the kind of player we need to start buying. Proven player, very experienced, can snatch a goal, perfect for us and for the Championship. I pray we purchase him.

Doubt sako will be going anywhere he has been poor recently can't see forest buying him well overpriced for his performanes think we will be keeping him for a while

Simon Cox to wolves you're having a laugh happy at Forest and getting regular game time think you're dreaming pal

Wolves buying Young african starlett Maurice Akentowa for 1 Million

Does anyone have any info on him.

Cannot find him anywhere. I would prefer to blood Eusebio Banessi who is already "up and running" and was on the bench for the Orient game. He has already looked useful for the U21s - otherwise we could be "doing an Elliott Bennett" and letting a very good player go without giving them a chance to show what they can do in the first team.

He's probably the new Ali Dia.
