Hi guys. I am a new poster but have been viewing this forum for a while. What appears blatantly obvious to me is that Wolves are doing a great job of being a community club - it is staggering the amount of folk on here who knows someone from the club, so I can only assume that the community officers redoing fine job!

Seriously though, if the rumours are true, let's hope that we keep investing in the academy that has served us well over the last couple of decades. I would hate to see us turn into a Chelsea where the graduates are farmed out and sold without a sniff of a chance of first team football and we try and buy our way to promotion. We have the nucleus of a good team already, we just need the right man to nurture it.

Is the prospective manager ready to and will the touted foreign stars be prepared to slog out a win on a wet, cold, windy night at Oakwell?

I want change and success as much as the next Wolves fan but let's not get carried away.

Tim you right in one respect Morgan has been in talks with a number of interested parties. I have said time and time again that there has been an offer on the table from the near get go but Morgan has been bidding his time and all the while the price has been going up. We have now reached the point of no return and the deal is in place the i's are being dotted and the t's are being crossed I very much thought the deal would be done by now and it prob would have been but for one last contact from a second bidder but it is now complete bar the last couple of things to slot in place (not for the bid but for all the loose ends)

Sky Sports News HQ have also been told that Idiakez's name is been mentioned in negotiations for the takeover of Wolves by a Chinese consortium and could be offered the role of assistant manager at Molyneux.

Their were little snags today, from Morgan's end an increase in price due to drop in pound and from Moxey's end his position at the club, talks of a transitional period, discussing length, pay and shadowing a new CEO, on target for announcement on 7th with perhaps a deal confirmed late on the 6th.

These rumours aren't just rumours, there is currently negotiations taking place as we speak, it is regarding a Chinese takeover with Julen Lopetegui to become new manager, all I can say is these deals are extremely complex and take time and inevitably all depend if the club wants to accept this deal.

I can confirm advanced negotiations are taking place today!

Mr Li and party inc. Mr Lopetegui are extremely interested in finalising this deal ASAP that I can confirm.

I can also confirm the club was not happy in the slightest with leaked reports of this deal, but I have been trying to tell them that we live in a social media era and such these things do end up getting out, its inevitable.

They clearly have been gagged by Wolves or worse still have got the arse over the rumours emanating from oversees reports and twitter and therefore not reporting it. Surely its their place to report on these rumours.

It will be interesting to see how they cover this now, if they don't cover the existing rumours and remain silent then surely they run a real risk of damaging their own reputation as an independent local newspaper!

If they remain silent then this smacks of a gag to me in return for an exclusive lol. The silence would go to some way convincing me that this takeover deal is going to happen.
