back having watch the southampton game and worried
that the start of the season is coming to soon for us looked poor at times still alot to be done

I agree, still a lot to learn, must be a lot for the players to take in to actually play football rather then put a shift in still think we are short across most of the park especially with not knowing our best players will still be here or want to be here only time will tell, but again I'm a little worried.

So you're worried that our reserve team couldn't smash 9 past a team that's just been promoted to the Prem and is full of confidence? Bore off.

Think we will see significant movement in and out this week 3 out minimum berra kightly and fletcher bringing in 17 million. Stale has replacements lined up expect him to spend what he recoups plus more.

Your assuming its our reserve team but was not our new signings playing and was our star players rested or injured who may most likely not be here next season especially fletcher who in my opinion will be a Sunderland player next week, so again perhaps it may not be our reserve team but again time will tell.

Why loan an inexperienced youth player and let Berra go! He was key in promotion and at times looked a good player. He had a better season then Johnson and could really step up to the plate this year!!

^ As far as I'm aware he wants to go anyhow. He can go and tug shirts elsewhere.

Silly little boy! I'm 45, and Berra is more than quick enough for centre half. And I am also a STH so have seen him many times.

Shudda gone 2 specsavers then.

Its not all about pace back in the day center backs were talk and stocky and strong..

Back in the day u werent playing against forwards like walcott or aguero where u do need pace

More concerned that he is at the club at all, must be a huge hinderance in training during passing and tackling drills?

I know he has always been number 4, but wasn't expecting him to be in Stale's plans. Maybe I'm reading too much into squad numbers.

I think berra was a very poor player in a very poor team

WOW opta stats say we had 199 successful crosses last season thats more than any team in the prem. how did we score so few goals?

We did not score that few goals? Our problem was a bad managers one dimensional philosophy.

Compared to most teams we did score few goals especially when you take into account we had 199 successful crosses and the the player with the most headed goals in the prem

The problem was we built a new stand instead of a defence

Out of interest, why would you lie that he has tweeted its confirmed when it hasn't?
It may happen, but it has not been tweeted at all, in fact he stated the opposite.

I wached the hoff on utube but it was the best he ever did what a load of crap he was.
