Fletchers twitter account says he aint put any transfer request in, where do the express and star get it from ?? lol...... Ed, have you heard of any other in's or out's on the horizon?? Starting to feel the buzz for the new season with Stale in charge... LeeWolf {Ed011's Note - Nothing major at the moment, sounds like a defender is the next objective Stale's after, I'd expect us to get a LB or RB and a CB this summer with Bryan Oviedo sounding like a certain possibility for RB.

I am constantly amazed at thenegative way posters comment on our own players.

I actually was very p***ed off when MM refered to us as numpties but the more I read the more I kind of agree with him.

Surely rather than assuming all the players want off back to the prem and start bitching about them and theoretically signing new replacements, surely we should be posting how much we wish them to stay??

A manager in any role is responsible for hiring and firing and policy, thats what they sign up for should things go wrong they are the ones in the firing line and that is how it should be! If you dont like this dont go into management!

Stale is a new chapter a new start for wolves, I am sure he will assess players on their skills, potential, fitness, character and will. In turn I am sure that the players themselves will be looking to find out about a character they have not previously worked for and assessing whether to place their trust in him.

I cannot see any of our called stars leaving without first seeing how the ground lies.

In the meantime I will make a personal plea to Fletcher, Jarvis, Doyle, Kightly, Adlene, Nenad and Johnson plus others not to rush out the door as I believe under a clever tactictal Manager the best is yet to come.

So from me UPTW and come on the lads - we are the MIGHTY WOLVES in Stale we trust

Thank god for positive people . that said i would like them all to stay but do think Jarvis and fletch are premiership and would not begrudge them a trip back with a nice tidy profit of course. as for kites been one of my Favorite players of recent times and after looking after him during his injuries feel he owes us and if he stays he can show us all the player we know he could be and help us back to the first premiership time. the rest stale will sort out and im really looking forward to the start of the season i quite like championship football and i think stale will play fast attacking football down the wings . winning games building confidence and taking a good young attacking football team up to the prem first time made all the better by passing you know who on there way down

Of course I want change but companies change their performance daily, driven by new management.

You couldnt criticise the solidiers in WW1 for fighting the trench warfare, it was terrible leadership from their generals.

Players just like any employees do what their told or they dont get bonuses or promotion. For players their reward is to make the team.

If the maangement and coaching is crap then irrespective of the players you wont get results.

Stephen Ward came to Wolves as a forward and MM played him as LB. Fletcher came as an out and out forward and MM played him RW to start with then dropped him to the bench.

Time to get over last year and look forward to a new era

I hope he's suited and booted those shell suits are terrible and half the time they get allot of get discoloration to them. theres no need for us to look unprofessional

From what I have seen of Stale on youtube, he definitely doesn't look the Shell Suit type. Seems to have a fashionable managerial look without the formality to which some take it. eg. full suit and tie. The look during the flare-up with Guardiola was good, as long as he is warm enough on a cold Tuesday night at the likes of Hull City.
Don't worry boys, he'll look the part and fulfill it.
In Stale we trust.

No more news on the Tom Thorpe loan emerging this morning.

I have my suspicions that someone (his agent?) was trying to draw attention to him so possible suitors could watch him captain England in the upcoming U-19 tournament in Estonia.

Will be interesting to keep an eye on his performances incase the rumour is true. However, if there is one young CB we're going to play this season then I hope it's Danny Batth.

Was thinking the same it would be terribly unjust on Batth, he's gone away worked hard deserves chance to prove himself. He has the attributes to cope in the this league would like to know if he top 4 championship and PL league player

I agree i think we should play bath next season if he's any good. Also put Johnson next to him give him a shot hopefully he'll play well. I don't see the point in getting loan players especially in the summer, unless theirs a clause in their contract where we can buy them at the end of the season.

Danny had rave reviews from my Wednesday mateswho watched him regular, they were hoping to keep him permanent, but their loss should be our gain, hopefully anyway.

I think we had a lot of googd players but thick useless mick and person connor let them go and kept the likes of ward stearman berra henry who are totaly crap get shut of them now.

Ur right there m8. we let mark davis go. Elliott bennett. Andrew surman.. all gud players. and then we lost our acadamy coach. Chris evans. who discovered Zele. lescott. Robbie keane. Murray. Henno. etc.. shows how clueless mick was.

Headline in the Nottingham Post today that Forest will make a combined offer of £1,050,000 for Guedioura and Elokobi.

We should keep guedioura, one of our better players in my opinion
