"To be fair the fans have been really good for us this season. Obviously in some periods of games they have their opinions heard and that is fine because if there is no pressure and no one cares then it wouldn't matter if you won or lost." (Stale Solbakken) i think that seperates the the "moaners" from the "it's ok were 17thers"

Like I have said, for the moment I'm happy to eat my words but when I "moan" that doesn't mean I'm not a true supporter or "fickle" it means I care for our club like we all do. So lets make this place a little better ay? and stop calling each other "happy clappers" or "moaners" It's getting tiresome and pathetic. Anyone outside our club who comes on here must think were a right bunch of tools.

The problem is when fans put pressure on the board to sack the manager when the timing is all wrong. SS needs time and support from the fans, which the majority seem to be doing. I think Morgan does listen to the fans and tries to keep them happy e.g sacking MM and not appointing Bruce. To many in recent time have hit the panic button with no clear thought of what to do next. SS seems a very intelligent and honest manager with clear ideas of how to get wolves playing attractive football. If he can get us there in a couple of years it will be worth the wait. UTW.

When is the timing ever correct? That is a very subjective matter. Any manager who has a relegated team and has a sequence of 9 games without a win by the end of November will always be under scrutiny. Although with the persons we have had linked as manager i hope everyone now hopes Stale can turn it around.

Have heard that Emanuel Frimpong is keen on a January loan switch to Wolves, the only stumbling block (according to my contact in the estate agency business) is SS does not feel comfortable with his patchy injury record.

Saw in todays Sun that us and Bristol City are eying Portsmouth's top scorer Izale McLeod.. ( i did laugh! ) hope this aint true!

Whats the difference, look at the injuries we currently have.

Ha! Those estate agents always know the ins and outs at top football clubs!!...

Sarcasm.

I frikin hoppe soo i also reckon ticket sales would go up as he is such a charcter

i party agree with S.S but hes a qualtiy player and hes doing well atm for charlton plus if we can buy him the end of the year well get him for farley cheap i rekon

fingers crossed

How impressive is the fitness of the players Stale has brought in himself? And I am not talking about those out from a contact injury. {Ed011's Note - Give them time, we weren't going to sign amazing players of Sako and Doumbia's quality who were first team players at full fitness at their clubs for the prices we paid.

The bad news with Frimpong is UEFA rules state you can't be registered with 3 clubs in the same season.

Does that mean we cant sign him then?

If we get him before the time we got him last year there might be a loop hole there or we could argue that he has only played once or twice for arsenal.

My apologies to those who know what there talking about for this post. For the ignorant amongst you under the FIFA Transfer Regulations a football player is unable to play for more than three teams in one season. This applies whether the player has been transferred or simply is on loan with that club. As a result a loan move for Frimpong would be permitted under FIFA regulations as Wolves would be his third club of the season.

3. Players may be registered with a maximum of three clubs during one
season. During this period, the player is only eligible to play official matches
for two clubs. As an exception to this rule, a player moving between two clubs
belonging to associations with overlapping seasons (i.e. start of the season in
summer/autumn as opposed to winter/spring) may be eligible to play in official
matches for a third club during the relevant season, provided he has fully
complied with his contractual obligations towards his previous clubs. Equally,
the provisions relating to the registration periods (article 6) as well as to the
minimum length of a contract (article 18 paragraph 2) must be respected.
this is taken directly rom the FIFA website so YOU are the one who has it wrong

Not sure but isn't there some rulling about only playing for two teams in the same competition? So even though Frimpong has played in the league cup for Arsenal, he could still represent two teams in the Championship during this season.

So surely that means we can get him then as well be the third club? or am i totally lost here lol

I see swansea are being linked with, none other than Mark Davies, with a quoted price tag of 6 million pounds...yet another who seems to have come good once he was booted out...

Mark Davies wasn't booted out, he was sold when he refused a new contract!!

Davis wasn't booted out! He turned his back on the club he was supposed to have supported as a boy for more money! Get your facts right.

I think the figure quoted in the media during the summer window was higher.

He didn't jump ship, I know his family! He wasn't getting a fair crack of the whip with McCarthy, in fact mick didn't really speak to him or like him very much! That's why he loaned him to Leicester and even when he was ripping it up in league 1 he still refused to bring him back for us and continued to play players like potter in front of him! So when Bolton came in for him with Chris Evans there-who trusted him and liked him from the youth team years it was ano brainer-league 1, premier or reserves at the wolves? Get your facts right!!!!

Thanks for the reply above...to the original post

Wasn't his drinking and lifestyle a problem for Mccarthy from what i was told. Mick wanted to ostracize him to teach him a lesson and just forced him out of the club. Typical Mick his way or the highway.
