Any rumours anybody?
I'd like to see a right back or left back in, due to the fact ours don't attack, I was at the Ipswich game the weekend and I didn't really see cresswell and Edwards stop they was supporting nearly ever attack, we could do with players like that, plain and simple the team has no chemistry, throughout the match they was arguing, foley and Henry mainly, so would be fantastic if we sign a right wing back, and no offence to anybody but we need a full revamp, total new look, new formation, 4312 sort of thing with the full backs attacking and one of the cm's dropping deep on attacks to make 3 at the back, they also need to teach sako to track back, any suggestions on who to sign?

Ok so rumours about mac linden , I am v.good mates with him, just spoke to his family members and they said he wants to stay at wolves to continue his development, they said he's flattered by the interest but they are in advanced talks with WOLVES over a new contract

Zele rejected a couple so here's hoping the same happens and he signs eventually!

Pennant awful, need left back right back, striker and a winger IMO {Ed011's Note - I hate to say I pretty much agree with that team and that doesn't make me feel very confident. If he's ready I'd have O'Hara with Henry, and I want to see how O'Hara and Doumbia play together.

Cant wait for tomorrow too be over already! im looking forward to a busy january transfer window but also at the prospect of cassidy and doherty both coming back from good loan spells.

also with psezco (spelt wrong) nearing match fitness again wont need to have pennant wasting space on the field

Tbh with Wat we've gt I'd like to see a 4-3-3 formation think it would suit the passing style but I don't know about zonal marking.. Wat u reckon ...

Id play 5 in midfield with davis just behind doumbia and ohara actually, as this gives us more presence upfield and gets ohara closer to the goal, also then you could remove either seb or doyle and maybe move siggy up top with pennant on the right

I'd go 4-5-1 with the way we are playing my team would be ikeme Foley Johnson berra ward sako Davis doumbia henry siggy and Doyle up top on his own

I don't think there are many options other than this team, except Berra maybe. My only other change would be to drop Blake and play sig up front and Forde wide.

Henry is the 1st player on the team sheet every game and so he should be, i agree with the 4-5-1/4-3-3 the only problem with this is that if you were to play Doyle on his own he doesnt score enough, id like to see Henry O'Hara and Doumbia, and slowly introduce Davis as he is young

I would play stearman over ward even tho stears is a right back id still put him left back. ward is doing my nut in lately

Wolves striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake has dismissed suggestions that he might be reunited with his former boss Mick McCarthy at Portman Road during the January transfer window. The 26-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has repeatedly been linked with the Blues, along with his team-mates Ronald Zubar and Richard Stearman.
Ebanks-Blake told the Birmingham Mail: "I suppose because I worked with Mick McCarthy here, someone was bound to link me with Ipswich. And I was with Ian Holloway at Plymouth, so that's probably why there has been a mention of Palace as well.
"Anyone could write those stories any day of the week without even speaking to the managers. There's nothing in them as far as I know.
"I'm relatively young but I have an old-school mentality. I'm not going to kick down the door and ask for a new contract. I'm working and training hard and I've always enjoyed my time at Wolves. If I'm rewarded further down the line, that's great."

With that sort of attitude i would love to keep seb. Just wish he could control a football or read the game outside of the box.

He doesn't need to read the game outside of the box but be in position in the box on he last man as much as possible. Not on the half way line! Happy new year UTW

Just a couple of snippets for you.

Harry Redknapp is very interested in taking Kevin Doyle to QPR. Wolves will only consider selling for a fee of £4m plus, so that deal has a way to go.

The interest in Aron Johansson is still there, as I mentioned last week, and another striker Wolves are looking at is Anthony Ujah. He is currently on loan at Solbakken's old club Cologne from Mainz, who are looking to sell. He's a tall, powerful striker, and played alongside Bjorn Sigurdarson at Lillestrom.

Personally I think it's who Doyle plays alongside, where you play him and what expectations you have of him!

I would look to sit him just behind a front two.

Play three at the back with two wing backs, 2 centre mids, 1 centre attacking mid (Doyle) and 2 forwards with bags of pace.

Anyway what do I know lol

Some fans and managers must have S**t in there eyes because Doyle is really poor, apart from 1 season he as done nothing at wolves and no one can partner him.
He is our biggest problem why we dont score goals yet he gets picked every match.
He must have a magical wand or his a world champion brown noser

Guess and stir have not linked us with anyone today , on the official Wolves website SS preludes to one or two additions to the squad , which may or may not happen. All pretty vague and depressing.

"Doyle is really poor"? One of the few saleable assets we have not an out and out goalscorer but a class act. Unfortunately feel he we go in January became more and more frustrated as the game went on think he was subbed before being sent off. Watched him kick Ipswich player in the air and give him the real stare and verbals

Ikeme has played well and his shot stopping has been exceptional at times BUT his positional strength is not great nor his command of his defenders in front of him...at fault too many times for long range goals coincided and he first goal against Ipswich he was planted way to far to the right of the goal. AJ

M8 ive seen Ikeme play loads of times.. how many clean sheets has he kept? not many? only game i rated him was the Blackpool game.. Henno's a lot better. its only down to his injury he's in goal now. thts why he's always been 3rd choice. he's just an average keeper.

Guess and stir cant be trusted with any info about targets, nor can the players so best indication is keep an eye on wolves players tweets, if they stop posting it will be cos moxey has told them to keep off it untill targets have signed.

Personally, i think we, ll get frimpong back if were lucky and one or two foreign unherad ofs with one of our more established players leaving, any money real money spent will be replacments for leaving players jumping a sinking ship, we'll see
