Streetly I think that says more about Stearman than it does about Holt. Just not sure what exactly we are trying to build here now and if I were Afobe l think this one single signing would tell me everything I needed to know about the clubs resources ambition and playing style. Apart from those three months earlier this year with Sako and Dicko he would have been better off staying at MK Dons.

Why does everyone moan no matter what club does we moaned cause got no seasoned pro with experiance so club goes gets some yet folk still not happy who u think we going sign Vincent kompany and messi time got reality check we not going get mega stars we got to guys that hopefully can guide kids and contribute knowledge to team so stop moaning and get behind your team oh and those that don't rate holt look his stats for this division he not Steve lazy arse clarrage he knows this league better than u think we'll done kj getting him in to help on goal front.

OK, Diego Costa he isn't but Grant Holt has the capacity to "get to " defenders and elicit errors and rash challenges. I do remember him doing that against us for Wigan and it was, as complete a performance of that type, as I have seen by any of our opponents in last few years. If he gets on today the clash with Robinson is likely to be x rated, if they manage to stay on the pitch long enough.
At the very least he provides a "Plan B" and is likely to get on end of set pieces, with better effect than others have managed of late.

He's perfect for Afobe to play off, Afobe isn't a target man Holt is.
