alex mcleish will take over if solbakken loses tomorrow against bristol. he is already lined up just in case and was sitting next to moxey and morgan at the forest and millwall game, also said that he could a possible replacement on ssn, you have heard it here first

The only managers out of a job just now worth taking on are Di Mateo (maybe), Curbs and until last week Redknapp. Assuming Pep Guardiola is out of reach!!

Just seen on Sky Sports we are lining up McLeish to replace under pressure SS. If this is true than I know one person who will not be renewing in arch!
Dunno. How much more time would you give Stale? We are relegation candidates at the moment and he doesn't seem to have the answer.
If he doesn't stop the rot in three matches, five at the outset, have to say I'd let him go. Worst case scenario - we'll dither and sack him in late Jan or mid Feb, not spending any money and giving his successor no chance.
Under the circumstances, yeah I'd be looking at Big Eck's CV and Strachan's and Curbishley's, especially because he doesn't have Wolves DNA (remember Jez) and whoever else.

SteveBullStand - Stale should have this season and next season so he can get his players in the transfer markets. Next season if we don't get promoted wolves will sack him.Atleast Play-off's next season.COYW!!
I would much rather go up this year but if it means building a strong enough team to survive in the Premier League then its better in the long term. Dont want to go through this again ! CravenWolf

Don't know what Morgan would say. If he says we're sticking with SS everyone will moan. If he says long term plan - moan. We don't need him to tell us that things are bad on the pitch cos that is flippin obvious. What we don't want is him running into the dressing room and upsetting the applecart which results in loads of dithering and headless chicken impressions. Far better to keep his mouth shut and let people think he's an person than to open it and remove all doubt!
Why are fans who want Stale out spoilt brats. He has so far played some awful borng football and we are on an terrible run. Anybody who says he will get it right given time has absolutely no idea that statement is correct. He has no pedigree in English football and currently looks out of his depth. I believe he needs until at least after the next window + a period to bed the new players in. I just don't think he will make it to the next window. We don't look capable of winning games.
We aren't sure that he will get it right given time. But if we don't give him time then we will never know if he will get it right. If we sack him now and bring in someone we know will get it right short-term, sure we would be better off then we are now but we would also never get a chance of building up some stability.

Lets get Lescott in on loan he has fallen out of favour with Mancini and still loves Wolves.build from the back with this kind of player and it might encourage his mate Robbie Keane to join him also . Lift the the team, lift the crowd. Climb the table

Agree with the above post about Lescott. He will NEVER play for Wolves again. Those who disagree are clueless. I know wht happened to him in a certain establishment in Wolverhampton. Tht led to him leaving us. Im not gona post the full details on here. But there's Wolves fans who knw wht i mean. I would personally love to see him back at our place. But sadley its never ever gona happen. Even if we COULD sign him.
