Buying Andre Gray as an already developed 26yr old with baggage for big money from the Prem doesn't make any sense, it would overwhelm and define Wolves brand as non glam and manufactured, as they try to reinvent and reestablish it.

While Afobe makes all the sense in the World.

Afobe has no baggage. He was misled into staying over the summer with promises of Sako being replaced properly, on us maintaining our momentum and promotion push. Then we failed to replace Sako, just took a free loan off Morgans mates at Liverpool, then sold PotS Stearman. The club gave up, had betrayed his trust that had kept him over the summer, and were wasting a year of his career. These players live 24/ 7 for their careers, what they eat, drink, can do etc, it's not something anyone should be expected to have to tread water with to help Morgan and Moxey get away with their shortchanging.

It was the £20m price that shocked me. I'm sure he's worth it and would have almost guaranteed promotion, but then he is in the Prem from getting his team promoted and is a big name, he'd have overshadowed even Neves.

Surely getting in Miranda and boly is a sign of strengthening defence. Plus getting a right back and pen back means he can alternate between playing 4 and 3 at the back. Plus he has hause and coady at his disposal. No news on Silvio.

Silvio has left but we have Doc Batth Coady Hause Marshall Deslandes from last season plus Boly Miranda Ofosu-Ayeh Vinagre Bennett Douglas so defence is pretty good.

Bath will go though. The rest of defence does look strong. Afobe is worth the risk as he can support dicko and gray. I reckon afobe will be in on loan. Gray will be the large purchase. Leaving bonatino as masons replacement.
The other players to leave or loan out will be mason, lonergan, Evans loan, Bath and bright on loan.
I still see a midfielder been brought in as neves needs someone to force themselves and win the ball back for neves.

Afobe is the best option if we're going to spend big. While Andre Gray does have baggage. Even ignore the infamous tweets he only apologised for because he was called out over them, his main photo for his twitter account is his scar from his gang fighting. He’s not put it behind him, as his main photo he’s made it his brand. And the story is it happened because Wolves is a rough dump. If Fosun do it it’s going to define Wolves brand in a bad way.

Haven't really posted a lot on here regarding transfers, however having met on holiday with a lad who knows a lot about wolves ins and outs, "apparently".
Please don't quote me on this, he's telling me "Andre silva" is the big name signing we are looking at, not happy at AC Milan having gone there from Porto, hasn't settled and also a client of mendes.
personally can't see this to be true but hey, who knows what fosun are thinking. so far, I'd rather be watching this than watching what I have in the past.

I went to the game yesterday and from what I see all we need is an experienced striker to get on the end of some crosses who can finish. I'd get crouch for what he would cost all day long even if he was an option of the bench.
