I have no idea what's happening with Andy Delort. I've read on a Wigan website and it states Wigan have signed him. But I've just looked at sky sports transfer centre and it says we are the latest club to make an offer for Amdy Delort could someone find out?

Well he was paraded before the Wigan - Birmingham match so read into that what you like.

Yeh it's very confusing

They have paraded him at there game but they haven't agreed a fee with tours

Apparently we have had a second bud rejected but surely the player wants to go to Wigan being as he's retweted pictures with fans etc

Very strange

KJ has told SSN that we have made a considerable bid for him. What will be will be.

He was at their game today been paraded round the pitch by whelan, but they haven't even had a bid accepted, whelan only invited him to tell him his story of his broken leg

{Ed003's Note - lmao}

Apparently Wigan paraded him around to their fans today before their game with blues, "unveiling their new striker"

But. According to reports in France he hasn't signed for anyone and an agreement hasn't been reached with anyone.

Also we meant to of had a decent bid rejected.

UTW

"Within a couple of hours of being paraded at the DW though, the president of Delort’s current club Tours in France released a statement saying: “Despite new rumours about Andy Delort in England, I reiterate that no decision has yet been made as to the final destination and the player returns to the previous statement posted on our site.”

Correct tours fc website says he has not signed for wigan and no bid has been accepted by them. if you ask me they are trying to start a bidding war between us wigan and charlton.

Question, should Wolves waste time trying to sign somebody who looks more than happy to go to Wigan? Don't like the idea of being second choice, especially to Wigan.

I don't know how personally we should take being "second choice" since nothing has been decided, but I do know the window is closing fast and there is very little time to begin the process of bringing another player in. So I'd much rather sign him and show him what we're about than give up on him because we're not his favorite.

Remember me asking for your opinions on our points tally after ten games.well call me the pessimist realist but they got to my tally yesterday.congrats to all involved and so glad to be wrong.
Jackett can certainly pick a player, backs himself and his team.he speaks with such a passion and counts himself fortunate to be the manager of what he describes "a massive club".
When you listen so all the pundits they admire him and want him to succeed, in th cut throat world of football this guy is a breath of fresh air, I genuinely think he wants success not for personal gain but for his employees, his staff, his players, the city and for the fans.
Forever wolves one love.

Blimey, the president of Tours speaks good English.

Other news media are still confirming this. A bit embarrassing if he signs for someone else now.

Realist, maybe it's hard to see how good we are. We walked L1 and most teams now won't be much different than the better L1 teams. Compare this team to Deano's team, which would have struggled to get 50 points last season let alone 100. This is a good team with a good attitude. I think we have Kenny at the peak of his game.

I think its more Thelwell and co that identify these players with Jackett having the fiinal say on whether to give the board the go ahead. Still have this niggle that the board won't pay what other clubs regard a fair price. This is why we're struggling and missing out on players! I just hope we don't end up with players l like Danny Graham etc. p.s. Even if it's not us I hope Delort does move somewhere else because Dave Whelan deserves everything he gets!

Geordie, Thelwell is doing a great job, but Jackett is his own man, at this point the only signing he may have got wrong is Clarke. With Ohara and Doumbia off the wage bill we may have a bit more bargaining power in bringing in a quality striker to help out the impressive Dicko.
I could recommend players to Wolves but picking and backing them is at the door of the manager. He will only do what is right for the group and for Wolves.
This is our love.

I take it realist that you never saw any press reports regarding the appointment of Kenny Jackett as 'head coach' and the restructuring behind the scenes!? Ultimately it's not what the board can spend, it's what they are willing too
