Only me again! Just a quick one this time, not sure how likely this is either.

Molde's centre half Vegard Forren has been linked with a move to Wolves. My sources have told me that both Man Utd and Everton are also interested in signing him, but neither can offer him regular first team football, whereas Wolves may be able to. The fees mentioned are somewhere between £1.5m-£2.5m.

Who ?? {Ed011's Note - 24-year old Norwegian, 6ft 1", Centre back playing for Molde FK in the Norwegian League under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He's had 5 caps for Norway and was recently widely linked with a move to Manchester United with this rumour being fuelled by his current manager:

"We haven't received any offer for Vegard, but there are many who have enquired about Vegard. I am expecting that we might receive an offer in January.

OGS went on to say that Forren "...could play for Manchester United, but I don't have to tell him that. At his best, he is a very good footballer."

Or, Even Hovland isn't he ment to be there best centre half, that is if he is still there.

Moyes admitted there is no transfer funds available in January for the toffees , this rumour is a the very least tangible.

Gibo. {Ed001's Note - Moyes said that just before Everton paid 15m for Fellaini as well, so don't be fooled, it is just meaningless.}

Reading today Stale wants talks with the 2 M's about transfers?? Hopefully they meet soon and tell him and his assistants to do one! Gettin bored with the non action now, on and off the pitch! Paul Tamworth

Touche ED001 , well payed old boy.

Gibo.

Not as bored as we're all getting with your constant whining Paul.

Tell me what there is to be cheerfull about at Wolves?? U Happy Clapper are obviously content with the situation?? Loser! Paul Tamworth {Ed011's Note - Tamworth you get wound up more than an old wristwatch, it's all banter.

MM signing Zubar. Rumours he is interested in Stearman and Ebanks Blake

Good one Ed, but less of the old please. Paul Tamworth {Ed011's Note - Haha, point noted mate.

Paul I am all for you wanting our manager to leave but I wish you would put it a bit better. Saying he doesn't know what he is doing or he should do one just makes it look like you are whining. Argue your case in a better way, and show Solbakken some respect atleast, it is a hard job he has on his hands and he clearly isn't an person. He just isn't getting it right at the moment.

Papers now linking SOD with us! Id prefer him over any other manager out there at the moment who could realistically take SS over!

LeeWolf

If you are referring to the Daily Mail article then it has no official word from anyone on SOD coming to us...its a misleading headline/story to say the least.

02 Jan 2013 23:03:01

Owen Coyle 3-1 fav to be the next Wolves manager.

02 Jan 2013 22:31:28
{Ed011's Note - Also Johan Djourou is apparently on the verge of a £1.6m move to Hannover 96. I know his wages are probably shocking for how good he is but would it be worth a cheeky bid?

02 Jan 2013 22:29:13
{Ed011's Note - Do not know what's on play here but Vadim Demidov, the centre back we tried to sign in the summer because he was apparently missing his famous Norwegian girlfriend but instead went to Eintracht Frankfurt, has gone to Celta Vigo on loan after just 5 games at Frankfurt. Head's gone?

His heads gone .. we will probably sign him then ..

02 Jan 2013 22:21:59
Look at the news that Wolves were watched by Mark Bowen at Palace (Mark Hughes No 2 at QPR) and we are about to appoint QPRs Chief Scout as ours (Ex Mark Hughes chief scout) and I think you can work out where we are heading.

Hope not, I don't think much of Mark Hughes!

The chief scout from QPR is just a coincidence. I wouldn't get excited if I were you.

Yep daffy duck and pluto are coming

2+2= 345356

Rated sparky as a player but dow think hes managment materiel on the other hond he cor be no wusserer than stale con he?

I thought that they played lb and Rb along with dumbo in cm and eeyore up front

Wolves moose

Sparky will be black burns new manager, our next league opponents.the realist.

02 Jan 2013 21:05:17
So the players back the manager-heard it all before last season -wouldn't like to be in the trenches with that lot.

02 Jan 2013 20:45:59
I have heard that after the Peterborough game the players had a go at Stale and he had a go at them in return. I also find it a bit strange that a week/2weeks ago Stale said they had targets lined up but now we are no where near any deal. Also rumour has it a lose against Luton and that will be the final straw. I have no connection to the club or a source, its just what have heard going around

Luton will embarrass us no doubt.

Could anyone imagine a player having a go at Stan Cullis.

Can you imagine that happening anywhere?? I told you the squad is rotton. Stale needs to wield his axe and at the very least bench some of the so called stars!!!

Wolves moose

"Could anyone imagine a player having a go at Stan Cullis."

Nor Bill McGarry.

rumours - Norwich are after Doyle.

They can have him .pay them to take him please dont build my hopes up. he is about as much use as a donkey with ricketts

Aload of rubbish

Some people are so stupid, Doyles work rate is unbelievable, he doesn't score enough I agree but we would be a much worse side without him, fletcher wouldn't have scored anywhere near as meny he did without Doyles work rate and dummy runs etc, and the fact premier league clubs still want him should speak volumes!

Legless wolf

He cant stay on his feet and what striker is allowed not to score goals from wat ive seen he only runs when he gets the ball and falls straight over.

Doyle is rubbbbish

I expect a striker of his supposed calibre to score more goals .he has played in the prem and still couldnt score there he is one of the main reasons we got relegated. if norwich want him give him to them and half the team as well . the reason why he stayed with wolves is because he knows no other team would put up with a striker not scoring goals and dump him on the bench then probably loan him out to a division one team..

What a load of rubbish - probably kept us in the premier league playing on his own up front, some people have a short memory. Dave Stafford

A good servant but past his best. 1 good game in 5. Time to cut him loose.

We are not in premier league now are we

What division are we in ohh not the prem .. thats how much he and his clapped out team mates have done for us they were cannon fodder in the prem and having the odd good game in three season doesnt make you a great striker.scoring goals does that .

Rumour ive heard is

Wolves are looking for a new manager behind the scenes. While moxey was away he has had secret interveiws with two unknown managers, they wont sack solbakken untill the deal is practically done. Stale will be asked to resign for pr reasons to make morgan look better but will be offerd a good pay off.
His backroom staff will leave aswell, this all will be costly so moxey will explain in the media that new boss will have some money but mainly will have to work with these underperfoming players.

After recent failures in managers, the club will not risk going public untill the right man is found, but the hire and fire will happen very quickly once things are in place.

There will be no new signings untill everything is finalised with new boss. Both managers are rumoured to be english.

This has come from someone in the club, no name will be mentioned so dont ask as ive already asked and they wont tell me neither.

Watch this space......

I think someone else should take over wolves..moxey makes bad decisions.

What a load of bull!!

I know sombody who works at the club and stale is staying and not going anywhere

You trying to tell me that the transfer war chest is about to be spent on compo, unbelievable incompetence.

Why don't you go. Back on your Sandwell site mate absolute nonsense.

I have backed Stale through and through but I have to be totally honest unless the board back him to the max and I am talking 20mil min this window. Then I would rather go for an alternative, otherwise I can see a repeat of our last freefall through the divisions.

I dont honestly feel its all Stale fault as I dont rate the squad at all. When you look at our bench its so devoid of any creativity or even competition for places.

I do though however have to question why we seem so keen to farm out all our youth on loan.

I think the squad is rotton to the core, players know they will be picked week in and week out and I think it will take removing at least 3 of the senior players to send the right messgae through the squad.

I suspect that they control the dressing room, hinder training and the development of our youth!

I would like to see all our youth brought back in from their respective loans - properley evaluated and I would like to see at least 2 of these propelled into the 1st team squad. Mclinden and Cassidy and probably Zeli and Doherty as well.

I think the crowd would get behind the youth rather than our current journeymen too.

Times running out Stale - whatever the decision it must be decisive it must be inspiring and it MUST include axing and getting rid of the cancer that is left fronm the MM reign.

One other thing, for gods sake Morgan its time you got a PR company in that understands football and its supporters! You shut yourself away in your ivory tower too long

Shame sandwell dont have there own page

Sorry I hadnt finished my rant and hit send by mistake !!

- shut away in your ivory tower too long. Its time you took control of the club properly Morgan and beacme the voice of the club rather than using Moxey and your managers as your puppets.

I know your a busy man and all but at the very least a monthly public announcement wouldnt go amiss. Its about time we heard you say how unhappy you are with the situation and how YOU intend to rectify it!!!!

It seems to me there are far too many gosvenors roaming the corridors at the Mol - time to bring a few of them down to earth with a bump.

Sorry rant over

Wolves Moose

This is not Stale's fault. As someone else said there is no competition for places, the squad is very weak. The players who are here are trying to protect their own interests and need to be shipped out ASAP

02 Jan 2013 16:18:59
Leigh Griffiths hopes a deal can be reached with Championship Wolves to allow him to stay with Hibernian until the end of the season.
The striker' current half-season loan deal is due to end in January.
The 22 year old told the Edinburgh Evening News: "I have told them I want to stay so now I just want it done as quickly as possible but I need to wait and see.
"We still have a big game coming up on Thursday (against Hearts) then we have a two-week break. If it doesn't happen by then my last game will be at home against Dundee (on January 19).
"They are speaking, so I am hoping it's done in the next week or so."
fact not rumour

This bloke really wants to play for us forget him !

The players backin Stale!! Lol, they should do it on the pitch if they think so highly of him!! Obviously they don't as the table doesn't lie and u wouldn't round on him in the dressing room after Peterborough game!! Come on Morgan get rid admit it's not workin and let's start again! Paul Tamworth

I sit here dumbfounded that neither Morgan or moxey have addressed the fans, the fact that ss solbakken is still sailing our ship towards the rocks Morgan FFs speak man if it was Redrow houses crumbling before your eyes heads would role if the jobs to big for ya do one and take your glove puppet with ya.

Suggest if you wanna go to the Blackburn game and god knows why you would you let bob n jezmond know your thoughts, if we're gonna stand up to the persons ill join up, if we are gonna sit there in apathy, sorry I ain't gonna be party to that.open to suggestions for a long loud peaceful protest.the realist.

Tell him that we cant be botherd to set up his loan extension like he couldnt be botherd with new season training and leave him in the reserves untill his poor attidude changes.

What would you do ? If he comes to wolves he will get 1 chance every 4/5 games.

He can't be very ambitious if he wants to stay up there rather than play for us

So who's to blame
A Morgan
B moxey
C solbakken
D the players
E the fans
F all the above
G Paul/realist/mills
H happy clappers
I Ed011

{Ed011's Note - I was jealous so I added myself to the list.

Yes but why does not want play for we thats want i would like to know

Why should he want to play for a manager who has said all along that he is not in his plans.
If a new manager comes in before Stale has had a chance to sell him it may be a different story.

J. The Window cleaner

Ed you can't be to blame your perfect.the realist. {Ed011's Note - <3

I'd go for a b and h.the realist.

I blame Ed011 {Ed011's Note - Me too, that guy is so full of it.

It's got to be u Ed, for allowing the Happy Clappers on here!! Lol, jokin apart it's a mixture, the 2 M's for appointing a manager on the cheap who doesn't know the English leagues and moans about how many games are played. And also the players who need knockin down a peg or two and made to Realise that no one is bigger than Wolves and get their arses into gear and do the job they are paid very well to do!! Paul Tamworth {Ed011's Note - <3

K Rachel heyhoe flint

What if moxey grants free ale on the concourses til we have a shot on target.the realist. {Ed011's Note - There isn't that much ale in the World.

L - Injuries
M - The Weather
N - Referees/bad luck
O - Their boots
P - Primadonas

Q Balls to light
R grass is to long
S grass is to short
T we cant see each other because of all the empty gold seats clashing with the shirts.

According to reports on Spanish television Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly keen to sign Spanish winger Eduard Oriol during this month's transfer window.
The 26-year-old is currently on the books of La Liga side Real Zaragoza.
Oriol spent two years with Barcelona up until 2011 but never featured for the senior team.
His contract with Zaragoza is due to expire in 2014.
This report was dismissed a few days ago, But not by Wolves!
Wolves have said they will be keeping tight lipped on any transfer activity untill deals are done!

Wolves took to twitter to dismiss the rumour.

Gibo.

Been circulating for months, rubbish

02 Jan 2013 13:07:03
Marlon king to wolves 500k strong rumour from blues fans. Want to get wages off the books 18k {Ed011's Note - He is one of our top goal scorers already this season.

He's one of our top goal scorers too!

That was funny lol

Marlon King is a wrong un! no thanks..

02 Jan 2013 12:17:15
Kenny McLean of St Mirren seems to have been linked with a few championship clubs in the last few days, anyone shed any light on whether there is interest , Ipswich and Wolves the last 2 clubs to be mentioned.

At the moment he has a knee injury.

A knee injury! sounds like a good signing he can join the majority of sicknotes! go for him cant beat consistency?

He had a tidy up op last Saturday, nothing major, will be fit to get back playing in no more than a week or so

Sign him up send him wine tasting in France to recuperate along with fitness guru tony 13 games in 5 years Daley, he'll fit in just fine

02 Jan 2013 12:02:32
{Ed011's Note - Bakary Sako is injured. Hamstring problem, and it's suggested by the E&S he may have hit the same wall that Doumbia hit in terms of not being able to cope with the number of games.

I wonder if thats a wall that Morgans Redrow have built?

Is there going to be anygood news for us wolves fans jason wolves for life

Sorry but i am baffled as to how these so called atheletes get injured? when all they do is take a stroll around the park once a week!
i could understand it if we were seeing some real effort!
god help us if they were to try a bit harder they would all be on the sickky couch!

Just told my boss I've hit the physical wall, he was ever so sympathetic, told me to take a few weeks off on full pay ( circa £25 k a week) and see howi feel after that!
Bless

Bloody good point sir

02 Jan 2013 11:22:00
Wolves set to appoint QPR Chief Scout, Stuart Webber, as Head of Recruitment.

What for he will have nothing to do as morgan wont spend.

The first thing he can do is find us a decent manager!!!!!

I'd love to be our chief scout. Imagine only working 1 day a month.

Why not go for for Di Matteo, champions league winner with a bit of flair, did ok at west brom too

I dont think Di Matteo would go from champion league to championship

One graham turner.

02 Jan 2013 01:48:40
Wolves after David Bentley currently on loan until Jan from Tottenham at FC Rostov in Russia.

David bentley youve got to be kidding!

Hes returned to tottenham. He was on soccer am last week and says he expects a loan deal to the championship

Yeah. David Bentley is really the answer to our problems! Omg.

He's rubbish

Bentley is a good player but, not when a team is struggling like us. Cant see him back tracking to help out our woeful Full Backs!

He's another pennant

02 Jan 2013 01:30:06
No wolves players on twitter since the game could ss be a goner

They're are too embarassed to show there faces cos they are trying to get him sacked and we all know it

Morgan and Moxey have showed they don't give a monkeys about the footballing side of our club! They are quite happy to keep Stale their cheap option glove puppet in a job!! What a total joke!! Prove me wrong 2 M's!! PLEASE!! Paul Tamworth

PT and who is your choice as replacement? Dont just say anybody give me good logical reasoning

This group of players have already seen off MM and TC as managers!

Who is going to manage this bunch?

Owen Coyle, Mark Hughes, Sean Odriscoll, Gary Megson, Gordon Strachan, Kevin McDonald, all available! And they've all got a far greater understanding of the English leagues than this so called manager Stale! Stale can't even motivate the players he's brought to the club! As for his assistants have u ever watched them? There not interested one bit! Paul Tamworth

Owen Coyle, Mark Hughes, Sean Odriscoll, Gary Megson, Gordon Strachan, Kevin McDonald, all available - ...they are available because they are useless!! If we do get rid of Stale I want to see us go for someone who is making an impact at a club and fight to get him, not go for someone who is rubbish and available because they've recently been sacked or can't get another job!!

We all want a top manager but these are realistic suggestions! The 2 M's Wont spend on players let alone on payin compensation gettin a manager! I would take any of them over Stale!! Paul Tamworth

So the "realistic suggestions" you name that are probably the last remnants of pre historic coaching and its methods......

I wonder why they are unemployed?

These players need to be sacked they have seen off McCarthy seen off Connor and now they are about to see off Solbakken

They would see off Fergie if he was in charge....

Ward Berra Stearman Hunt Edwards Jonnsen Davis Nouble they are garbage and need to be completely replaced I would also get rid of Doyle the striker who doesn't strike!

The only way we will get better than what I suggested is to get a new owner? But I wouldn't hold your breath!! We didn't spend on quality when we were in the Prem so we def won't in this league! We won't get better than the managers I've named, but all of them would do better than Stale and his assistants! Paul Tamworth

Are people really saying they wouldn't have Sean O'Driscoll as manager at this time? Forest were doing pretty well under his management so to suggest he's "useless" is daft.

We need a manager who the players will run themselves into the ground for, someone who can inspire them. Stale doesn't exactly come accross as the inspirational type.

What....a manager like...like...oh Mick McCarthy who these players got the sack due to ermmm...lets see underperforming!!

Or a Manager like Connor who the players all loved and said his appointment was great and they would move mountains for him...ermmmm ehat happened oh yeh they under performed!

Lets face it...no manager can get these posers to perform....

Players OUT....

Also how did the players mick mccarthy the sack, he only got sacked as the board didnt invest in more prem players and they were outclassed. in this league however they should be fine to get us promoted as they already have done. plus they didnt get tc the sack he was always going to follow mick and it was still in the prem where they were outclassed technically. I think sean o'driscoll is a very good manager, he gets players for good money look at gideoura and jenas, plus they play good football and play with effort and win most games with a squad that is still not as good as ours, get him in instead of this lunatic

How did these players get MM the sack? Ermm...by underperforming

You can dress it up how you like..

Wolves were in the top 6 net spenders in the Premier league under MM stewardship.

So lets look at it....Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal, Spurs There are 6 clubs and we were above them in spending during MM's time.

The players you mentioned that were tactically outwitted? Don't think so - That promotion team you mentioned had Jarvis, Kites, D Jones in it We have been left with Ward (bought as striker now a left back) Stearman, Berra, Henry, Hunt, Jonsson, Edwards the list goes on...

If these players are such good championship players why has no one come in for them?

Its the players at fault no one else - they have seen off MM and TC with their woeful performances and the team was in decline when we got promoted....after spending £millions

Massive overhaul of squad required before any manager gets this club right!!

Outclassed in the premier league?

What about Birmingham in the cup? Which was probably the worst performance in years....Same players same standard and that was against a club whos players werent getting paid!

These players are the problem they are a joke....no class
