Has no one thought that, yes we are doing bad... but it may convince some of the dead wood (ward, berra, stearman, mouyokolo, hunt etc..) to get off the wage bill so solbakken can bring in some hungry players who are up for wearing a gold shirt? I for one will drive berra to any club interested and pay the petrol. Stick with Solbakken... have some faith!

Morgan has made us a joke

If we had a director of football this wouldn't happen we would have one style of football and stick with it. Every time we get a different manager it's a totally different style to the next and it takes mangers time to rebuild a squad and get them to how he wants them to play. Look at Swansea nice passing play under Martinez, Sousa, Brendan Rodgers and now landrup. We need a director if football! Fans lose patience with managers because it takes to long to implement their style. No wonder it aint working for stale for there all m.m players!! DTM

100% perecent agree well said just hope they give him 10-15 mil to spend again in jan to buy 3-4 new players especially with are injurys returning!

Just gta get rid of the so called seniour players who cnt hack it anymore!

MM had the advantage of having a blank canvass to work with when he first arrived. almost the whole squad was knew and MM had his way and nobody knew any different. SS does not have a blank canvass he is stuck tools not fit for the job he is trying to do. He's not going to come out and say this because he can't change the squad over night. Hopefully he will be given time so in the next window and by the window next summer he can bring in players who can fit his way of playing. Until then he needs to be given time, I'd rather that than bring in a another manager who has already failed in the championship. UTW

Forget big spending Morgan is here to make money! Starting to make sense now why we didn't bring any loans in? He wants to get back control at Redrow so he needs cash! Sell Wolves! Don't rule it out! Paul Tamworth

Of course Morgan is here to make money. Almost all owners are. But even he knows he won't make money playing Hartlepool and Stevenage. It's a case of finding the sweet spot where the return on capital is maximised. I don't know if that means investing £10m per season or £50m or £100m. Morgan presumably has more of a clue.

He's 60 now and he wants full control of Redrow! He could put 10,20, 50 million into Wolves but that won't guarantee success, with 3 seasons in Prem and money from parachute drop your lookin at 200 million quid! How much has he put into Wolves? Buyin control of Redrow is a safer option IMO! Paul Tamworth

Having control of Redrow makes him stronger in the City which is GOOD for Wolves. Open your eyes fools!
EBW

As long as he is willin to put more money into Wolves! Not sure he has the cash to take control of Redrow without sellin Wolves though? Paul Tamworth

Just a thought - Who is doing the scouting for all this talent we are supposed to be signing in January? Have we replaced the scouts who went to join mm?

Ståle's contacts abroad most probably. Bowman and Evans only travelled as far as Ireland.

Ha yhh so gd steps towards a better squad !:)

Ed where has this Tata rumour come from? Smells abit fishy to me. {Ed001's Note - no idea, first I have heard of it was today on here.}

It's utter cack.tr.

Smells of excrement if you ask me.. Reminds me of the smell of a bags fan.

Whoever threw paint on stales car they are wolves scum. We are a laughing stock already. Give stale a chance,

Many months ago my father told me wolves were up for sale. Morgan bought the wolves after selling red row after that they made losses and the share price tumbled. Morgan then purchased the majority share. Since then they have made a profit. On wake upto money on 5 live they said Morgan had approached shareholders and the ftse about buying the remaining shares. Financiers had told him he required to raise some capital himself not all on finance. Wake up to money said he would need to sell wolves. So maybe just maybe there is a tiny amount of truth but more likely to be b******s.

Hope it's true.

I smell a bored baggie , remember my sum for earlier on in the year (sic) bored baggie's + broadband = bad combination.

Feel if bob the builder had anything positive to say he would have said it yesterday so take it that plan a is on schedule and its business as usual, either that or bob has more important things in his life and can't give our club the loving care it deserves.dont know if its just me but would love to know what ambition my club has, where are we going, should I invest my hard bloody hard earned cash in buying into to a blue square league project.just tell me the truth cos this is beyond a frustration. I love my club my city my Wolverhampton,I ain't happynclappin for the sake of it nor moaning for the sake of it, I post cos wwfc is in my heart n I care, I want the best not a Man U or man city not an arsenal or Chelsea, but certainly a tesco a stoke a Fulham or a Wigan.one love wwfc.the realist.

As a businessman Morgan has made mistakes before I know from personnel experience,if this guy was employed by Redrow he would be squirming, the test of Morgan's desire to make this club a success will be known in the next two weeks,if we loose both and he doesn't go expect a massive fire sale in jan and a sale of the club soon after.moxey n Morgan at loggerheads don't know who sits on what side of the fence, but n I'm very very sorry they do need each other FACT n if they go down they Will go down together.tr

A sale wouldn't surprise me, he's sold our two biggest assets, Fletcher and Jarvis, hes had 3 seasons worth of Premiership money and a season parachute payment! Now is the time for investment on the pitch but I don't think he will. A sale wouldn't surprise me as there is hell of a lot less money comin in to the club, crowds down tv revenue down etc Paul Tamworth

on radio wm..stalle solbakken,s car has been vandalised!

This is really, really disgusting. No wonder we can't attract top class players or managers. O'hara and now Solbakken. The few ruining it for the many.

On the Wolves site there is a small article about it , paint was thrown all over his car.

Gibo.

Bad news doesn't look good on us as a club,I have strong views for my club and air them frequently, but that's because I have a passion n feel frustrated n bewildered how far we've fallen but stale seems a good guy,he doesn't deserve that, he was offered the job on an attractive salary and that wasn't his fault how many of us would have done the same, the blame is with Morgan and moxey, think this may be the tip of the iceberg n the start of a fans uprising, but don't shoot the messenger the 2ms have let us down so many times.the realist.

2poster, agree 100% we are already a laughing stock and the we get some lunatic making things worse.P.J.

I totally agree with u i know people r annoyed at how we are doing this season but it doesnt give them the excuse to do this.

How childish.

It makes me feel embarrassed to be a wolves fan!

Has anyone thought it might be one of the players not a fan? Or TC or mad mick?

What I have been saying for a long time. Some salt of the earth fans but some real as well.

Scaramanga

Embarrassed to be a Wolves fan. the club are doing that, not the fans, Lets not let a tin of paint deflect from Morgan and Moxey!

I agree whoever did this deserve to be banned for life. Scum.

I repeat, how do u know it was a wolves fan? Lol, it could've been anybody!

29 Nov 2012 16:07:46
Just been reading about solbakken's car being damaged by vandals throwing paint over it. Irrespective of what's happening on the pitch the bloke dies not deserve this. Shameful.

He can afford 100's more, but he don't deserve to have threatening behavior against him at all he seems a nice bloke.

TDW

Should of been Moxey's. Make him pay some money out!

He wudda charged the fans, he would have inflated the price of mrs moxeys pies.

29 Nov 2012 15:56:08
he as two more games to get it right city sat and brum next week morgan thinks they are both winnable if not he as gone

He aint going nowhere how many times do I have to tell you,Deal with it. WFE.

So is that first post (a) wishful thinking (b) fact or (c) rumour? Answers on a postcard please!

What the hell are you disagreeing with - there were 3 options?

I love how people keep saying hes a gonna the people who keep saying this if this happens who do u expect us to get because we will struggle to get any one and who would say they would do a good job in my opinion we do this it will be a terry conner disappointment all over again.

Steven Morgan as put the club up for Sale.
Close friend of Morgans as told me that
A company... Called TATA are in talks...
Not joking.... About the company's name
TaTa ....

Hilairious the company i work for cuts steel for tata so i doubt they but us..

TaTa is a massive steel company, Indian I think also think they own Tetley Tea? Paul Tamworth

Yeah i heard this too, apparently the main guy who wons the company is called Yowhan Jokin, He supports Wolverhampton, and apparently he's a lovley chap. ;)

Mills Wolf

On a very serious note, ive actually heard of a company called TATA large group with alot of money based in India, think there into all sorts of things from Steel to Oil. So despite my joke, i think there could and hope theres some truth in the matter

Mills wolf

Must be a joke, why would he sell the Goose that lays His Golden eggs. P.J.

Want to beleive it, be great if true. Would change everything. Paul Tamworth

Actually jusrt had a look at Ta Ta and they are massive, they own Jaguar Landrover, Daewoo commercial, Landmark loads of Asian companies and so on and so on!

This however will never happen as this must be a joke!!

Yowhan jokin ..mates with ta-kin depesh..

Flash of gold.

Aren't Tara in lots of trouble at the minute.

Wishfull thinking .jasonwolvesforlife morgan moxey out

Tata took over corus and own jaguar langrover etc. huge

This makes perfect sense. I work for Tata steel Milbank, London and a lot of talk about massive investment opportunity around the site. Rumours are this is a football club.

Would change everything? You're so right!Look at Blackburn with Venkeys - chaos. Look at the last time we had someone from that part of the world - the infamous Bhati Brothers. Say no more.

Just another venkeys no thanks

What you want an Indian company owning Wolves joy another venkes!!!

Sure it's not Stevie Bull, because he a 'Tata' who wears an England cap, he comes from Wolverhampton, and he's such s lovely chap!

Looks like April 1st has come early?

TaTa are also making a load of personnel redundant, just in time for christmas.

I want the guy out big time, but pourin paint over his car isn't the answer!! Grow up!! Paul Tamworth

Beware , we had Asian owners before.... and look at the Venki's also.

Markie Molineux.

Early warning! Low flying pigs operate in this area - lol

You don't want Indian owners?? Racist much??

{Ed011's Note - You can't say that Indian owners would necessarily be bad, we've seen and had bad experiences with Venkys at Blackburn and the Bhatti brothers (shudders). If a company is interested in heavy investment I'm reluctant to say no. I just don't want the club to be put into the hands of someone who doesn't understand football management as we've seen at Blackburn. However if Ratan Tata is involved in the move things could be about to get good, he's got A LOT of money and he's no idiot. Either way we don't know what's going on really at the moment and when it comes to Wolves rumours I keep my eyes open but am I big advocator of the "wait-and-see" and approach.

I heard it was ta'ra a bit , that were buying us.

Gibo. {Ed011's Note - If anyone knows about this move it'll be Wolvesinsider! Wonder if he'll pop up any time soon.

Sorry lads but tata have just announced lots of job cuts and are closing down most of their midlands based franchises and will only have one in wednesfield. Dont believe a word.

Billy Smarts Circus - what a bloody shambles. Flip a coin for who wants to be in charge ! The whole set up is a mess.

Plenty of cowboys about though.........

I work for Steve Morgan company....
And his going away next week to have a meeting with an Indian company.....

TaTa the massive company that just closed down some of their steel works in the west midlands? No offence but from what i have seen from owners from that part of the world i think were better off with morgan

Morgan is a Bhati!

Tata tea and Tata steel are different companies, probably partly the same owner. I really don't see the connection between them and Wolves, although a sponsorship deal is not out of the question - renaming the Mol as the Tata Stadium.

Maybe if it's Tata Tea buying us our new mascot will be the Tetley Tea Man.

Its a boggie trying to be funny...can't believe your all dumb enough to even reply..tata as in tatter

By the way, the Bhatti's were Saudi's not Indians! Learn your facts before being wrong and generalising {Ed011's Note - Apologies, I wasn't around to the Bhatti's, perhaps fortunately.

TaTa steel have gone into adminstration so wont be them will it, been express and star all week.

Steel company Tata has announced it is closing four sites and cutting 117 jobs in the West Midlands.

Tata said its Wombourne, Kingswinford, Dudley and Cradley distribution centres are shutting as part of plans to close 12 sites and cut 900 jobs in the UK.

The India-based firm said the changes would make it more competitive.

The company said 53 jobs are to go at Wombourne, 18 from Kingswinford, 36 at Dudley and 82 at Cradley. Seventy-two jobs are to be created in Wednesfield.

Tata employs 19,000 people in its UK steel business.

'Regrettable losses'

Other job cuts include 600 jobs at plants in south Wales, 155 in Yorkshire and 30 in Teesside.

Tata said demand for steel in Europe had dropped by 25% since 2007 and was forecast to fall by another 10% this year.

Karl Kohler, chief executive of Tata Steel's European operations, said: "These restructuring proposals will help make our business more successful and sustainable, but the job losses are regrettable.

"I know this will be a difficult and unsettling time for the employees and their families affected.

"We will do everything we can to reduce the impact of the proposals on employees and, where possible, we will look to achieve job losses through voluntary redundancies."

'Loyal'

Terry Pye, national operations officer for the union Community, said: "Obviously we are shocked and we hugely disappointed and angry."

He said Community members who were affected by the changes had been "loyal" employees of Corus, which was taken over by Tata Steel in 2007.

"They contributed in the days when Corus was very, very profitable," he said.

"It's a blow and it's a further blow to jobs in the West Midlands."

Mr Pye said he hoped some workers would be given jobs in other parts of the company, adding the union would be talking to its members as quickly as possible as well as to Tata.

hi ed is it true that wolves have made a bid .for edu oriol hes a winger ,seen it on football rumours , its a striker we need ?jason wolvesfor life {Ed011's Note - I've just been looking for it, I can't see any other links to it accept the one on the main page so far. I'm keeping my eyes open though and will keep you updated if I see anything.

Owen Coyle. Watch this space.

Hi Ed.. Is Ikeme injured? Heard he's dislocated his finger? If this is true are we allowed to get an emergency loan keeper in? {Ed002's Note - He should be fine and no.}

He's fit for Saterday, thank God.

Id much rather play de viers anyway

Would De Vries do any better? He probably deserves a chance but it's not the goalie that's the problem, it's the dodos in front of him.

Ha yh well said
