Everton after Doyle 6 mill I'd snap there hand off
According to the people were going to make a 2mill bid of Maynard
Best or lovenkrands from Newcastle
But still no defenders linked witch is worrying

Wat r they on its at the back we need help bloody forwards all the time

Why do we need defenders? If you had any sense, you'd realise that the Craddock-Berra partnership is settling nicely, Ward is playing the best he has in his whole career, and Zubar/Foley at right back you really can't go wrong there so I completely disagree with you.

The problems have come in Midfield/Forwards, Frimpong's addition was perfect and along with Kightly, Jarvis and of course O'Hara when he returns from injury we should be fine.

In my opinion, it seems dead obvious we need a strong, target man forward to assist Fletcher's goal scoring prowess and allow him to thrive. To be honest, I wish we would sign someone like:
Shola Ameobi
Leon Best
Kenwyne Jones
Carlton Cole
Grant Holt

Any of the above really... they would make Steven Fletcher thrive and allow midfielders to prosper as well.

Craddock ? Shows what you no n what about if Johnson foley ward Berra got injured we going to really on shocking stearman so yea a defender would be nice n SA your joking he's club captin at Newcastle they'd why were linked with best or lovenkrands n holt won't leave Norwich not when he's captin there

So I really think you need to do your research 1st

That's your opinion but you really haven't got a clue elokobi on his way out craddock coming to the end n always injured zubes seems injury prone n what if ward gets injured or Johnson or Berra

Get ridgewell n best n we will survive

I do agree with above....i think most probs this season have come from midfield...in perticlular Micks son Karl.....I think his ban will do us good..but i bet even if we do well without him he will still be back in the team straight away....cant wait for O Hara to be back though.....

Oh oh jamie o hara! :) he is amazing and karl henrey is just Trash... id sell henrey if i had the chance in a heartbeat but MM likes him too much :/ what can we do eh?
Frimpong and O'hara and Jarvis and knightly (or hunt) on the wings! we might do good then!

you say defence isnt our problem area? wolves 2 - 3 villa, conceding 3 at home is unacceptable, and weve only kept 2 clean sheets all season with a goalkeeper who has been on fire, need i say any more

Robbie Keane, need I say more? Defence really isn't a problem its the person behind the catastrophic team selections picking players like randomer Forde over Stephen Hunt or Adam Hammill... I mean honestly who plays 4-5-1 at home it's allowing the opposition to come at you.

We have an excellent defence if it is set up properly in Foley/Zubar-Johnson-Berra-Ward and if he kept picking these four it would maintain stability like Birmingham had with the Dann and Johnson partnership after they went on a run of like 11 games unchanged. He keeps picking stearman and elokobi who are both catastrophically awful defenders and don't deserve to play for Wolves.

Like I said before, midfield problem was sorted by Frimpong who I am hoping will take the place of Henry and he can leave to League 2 where he deserves to be and the return of Kightly and O'Hara. With Kightly-O'Hara-Frimpong-Jarvis I'm certainly not complaining it's just whether big head Mick starts thinking with his head over his heart.

Like I said before my opinion is that we need a strong, commanding forward to assist fletcher and preferably one who can snatch a few goals as well to ease the pressure off Steven Fletcher up front so we can play a proper 4-4-2 and be more productive than hoofing the ball up to hopeless Doyle who has lost all motivation for the game and doesn't deserve another chance and Ebanks-Blake don't get me started on him what a catastrophic three years it's been for him...

I know we won't get Holt or Cole they were purely put forward as examples but if your considering players we could sign then any of these would be decent:

K.Jones from Stoke - out-of-favour forward who is strong, big and scores goals.

S.Ameobi - Another out-of-favour forward at Newcastle who doesn't have a chance ahead of Demba Ba or Papiss Demba Cisse.

L.Best - Best is a genuine goalscorer who is also behind in the pecking order at Newcastle but is also a big lad who plays really well in an established squad which I think we now are.

R.Lukaku - Only played 4 games for Chelsea since he signed for them, he is a giant powerful forward who has been dubbed the next Drogba and I'm sure Villas-Boas wouldn't mind him joining us on loan until the end of the season.

A.Carroll - I know you'll all mock me for this, but I'm sure that Liverpool wouldn't mind it either. He has been awful for them without a shadow of a doubt, if we have him on loan for half a season and he plays regularly it could benefit both us and Liverpool as his potential would become more fulfilled. I genuinely think this would be worth a shot.

R.Lambert - Southampton front man has been banging in an exceptional amount of goals for such a powerful forward, worth a go in my opinion.

Opinions on these players?

Sky Sports Sources understand that Everton are lining up a shock bid for Kevin Doyle.

Can Everton afford him?

Doyle's a good player just got a crap coach helping him ,,, sack MM and we'll have great player back ,,it's simple

Time to cash in on Doyle.

Everton cant afford KD, simple as. We're not going to accept less than we bought him for....

Yes everton can afford him, its only meant to be 4 million, they got more than that for bilyaletdinov

Why wont wolves accept less than he was bought for? please enlighten us all? hes got older, his goalscoring record has got worse and hes no longer in favour, no one will pay 6.5 million for a nearly 29 year old striker with a goal scoring record of 1 in 4.9 games who cant get a game at wolves, 4 million would be about right, also everton got more for bilyaletdinov than doyles 4 million valuation so obv can afford him

Where does it say £4m?? And if it does, surely that what they are offering, not what we would accept!

4 mil and Ross Barkley on loan will do

Good striker - bad coaching at wolves. If you play hoof ball down the channels, all Doyle can do is chase and try and collect any half chances. If he plays in a better team, he will score more.

Not bein funny but of we sell him we will only have blake an best or lovens**t if we sign either of them an yes his goal scoring aint great ATM but id wont him on the bench above them anyday (unless this will b paving tje way for k jones )

Ross Barkley on loan, more like 4 million and and gnarles Barkley cd, he will be starting again now he's back from injury

Not true, he hasn't been playing when he's been fit (although he should be).

Best and lovenranks or doyle? uhmm hard choice really.. best is quality would love him to come to wolvo and levenrankes is ok but i wouldnt sell doyle if we dont get both! get one of them and i would still keep doyler

kevin doyle to sign for everton on monday

source ( newsnow, skysports, bluekipper, footymad)
all are reporting it, apparently 4 million

Tell them 7 million well ok 4 mill and 4 mill mad mick has 8 mill 4 players

7 million, 4 sounds about right in fairness, hes got a goal record of 1 in 4.9 games for wolves, (79 games 16 goals) hes nearly 29, so yeah 4 million is a fair enough deal, moyes would turn him into probably a more 1 in 2 goalscorer though with the players hed have round him

Heard that Leon best and Lovenranks from newscastle are set to sign for wolves and Alan pardew has already said his disintered with these too and is considering loaning/selling them... i hope this is true as if we sign both or 1 of them would put doyle under pressure in getting first TEAM!!

Hope we sign Best))
lovenranks would be good too))

Very unlikely we'll get either

AP has said he is willing to let one or both out on loan with the possiblity of them being sold.... if the wages ect can be agreed we might have a chance at survival because doyle is no good...

Doyle is not no good.
