Roger Johnson is to sign back at Cardiff City for 2.2m

His chariot awaits.

Love that to happen

Redbird - only a rumour but anything to say.

Waist of space

Ha waist!

No chance of getting £2.2m for Johnson. If we gave him away to get rid of his wages and get him out of the club it would be a good deal.

Seeing as you ask, I think we would have him back for around £1million.

Redbird

OK, done Redbird!

MEDIA WOLF

Yes we will give you £1m - bargain.

Roger johnson has shown a total lack of respect for us redbird cardiff don't need him

There have been two clubs in contact with Wolves regarding Karl Henry, Leicester City and Huddersfield town. What I have heard is that Henry was in Leicester last night discussing personal terms (though the second bit is a rumour, the first being rock solid).

Don't care who as him just want him gone

Needs to go get some fresh legs in the squad

The sooner he's gone the better. Why the hell Leicester want him is beyond me though.

Tim Nash (on a well known social media site) has stated that Wolves have had a £1million offer accepted by Crewe for Luke Murphy. However a deal is far from done as other clubs are interested and could attempt to hijack the deal.

Sorry to be negative but is the Agent is touting him around alerting Championship sides we stand no chance

Ignore Tim Nash. He has no connection to the club and knows nothing

Sorry to be a pain but does anybody know of any supporter clubs that go to games from the southwest

A car load of us go from Cheltenham.

Yep, sure there is a Cornish Wolves supports club.

Try torbay wolves pal

He has no connection to the club? Haha

I don't know how many times Nash has been wrong. He claimed he played golf with Mick McCarthy, when I spoke to Mick he said it was false and Mick purposely avoided him. A certain paper he works for is a lying rag.

^is that you Tim?

So if murphy signs, nash is right? if he doesn't sign, nash is right? hmmm quality reporting

Think read on tv they had agreed a fee and that had been confirmed with I think assistant manager or first team coach at Crewe. He is just waiting to agree personal terms think his agent will force him to wait and see what championship clubs are interested. If he hasn't signed tomorrow then doubt he will sign for us. Looks like a bright young talent hope we get him.

Wouldn't trust anything mccarthy said

He's a journalist, what do people expect him to do.

Agree with the guy above. The point in being a journalist is to report what you hear and to back it up with evidence. This he has done by providing quotes from the assistant manager at Crewe. It's true that we have agreed a fee with Crewe but there's interest in clubs from the Championship and there's interest from Swansea apparently. So yeah, a deal is far from done because a bigger fish than us could come along. So yes, quality reporting. The man is doing his job.

Transfer speculation and reporting in journalism isn't about being right or wrong, it's about keeping people informed. I highly doubt Tim Nash writes things whilst thinking "I'd better say this as well otherwise people will say I'm wrong".

I can guarentee everyone now that Wolves have some very good money to spend this season but a clear out is needed to start a new era under Kenny Jackett. Bakary Sako will be going to fulham but Bjorn Sigurdarson and Tongo Doumbia will remain at Wolves, other than those, the only players staying will be in the young and hungry category, Wolves will sign around 8 very highly rated youngsters this summer starting with Luke Murphy from Crewe who will be undergoing a Medical.

'Who will be undergoing a medical' isn't that pretty standard mate, or do we usually just pick them out of a catalogue?

Hope that's true. A solid team for me would be hennasy. Elokobi. Bath. Stearman/margiretter. Doherty. Forde. Murphy. Davies Zeli. Siggy and griffiths. With tongo. Price. Evans. Mcaldarin. Cassidy all there for replacements.

"other than those, the only players staying will be in the young and hungry category. " So what of Hennessey, Ikeme, De Vries, Foley, Stearman, Boukari, Edwards, Elokobi? None of them are young. All leaving? Somehow I doubt it. While there is something in what you say, you overstate your argument.

To the third poster - I have made it perfectly clear in the past I will not be playing for Wolves next season. I am an accountant from Lichfield.

No 3 What no Liam McAlinden? I thought he was the next best thing?

Bokauri is injured so he'll stay I would imagine along with elokobi I think we'll use him this year then if we go up let him go on a free. I think unless stearman has a decent offer come I I think we'll use him as cb alongside bath. I imagine at least one if not two of the keepew will leave

Yeh but from watching the YouTube videos posted by the club on pre season he's very skinny think he might need a little weight put on first but well see could always play siggy right and him up front. And sorry forgot about crazy spelling freaks (good one though your hilarious)

Why does McAlindon need strength (witch he has got btw) when he will go past people with pace

People forgetting cassidy, was it 16 by Xmas at this level last season

Let him go on a free? Use him? Gentlemen, you understand Elokobi is the hungriest player on the team by a country mile. The only player who cares about Wolves. He's so so passionate its amazing to see. He's our new hero I guarantee. I can also guarantee he will put everything into getting us back into the Champ.

Elokobi's best position is left sided central defense in my view.

Yeh I agree but his Talent doesn't pass league 1. He may prove me wrong this year but we have good lbs coming through so I wouldn't be surprised if they start the season
