Wolves bid 3.5 Million for young striker Vincent Aboubakar. {Ed011's Note - I heard this, he's meant to be decent for his age, about but I honestly couldn't see us moving for ANOTHER striker useless we already know we've lost Doyle and Fletcher :/

He's a very good young player similar to Bjorn sigs old strike partner and would compliment him well. However all this talk of ANOTHER striker must signal the sale of fletcher and possibly doyle too

Couldnt agree more ed011 if we bring in another striker no matter how good he is i would say it shows clear intent that both doyle and fletcher are on way out

Fletcher can put 'em away but if he goes we'll certainly need a good goal-grabber.

It seems quite obvious that Sigurdarson is Fletcher's replacement as soon as we get the right price and I'd say Nouble is a straight swap for Vokes with the added bonus that he's cost nothing and can play wide. I could see Vokes going to Burnley for about £750k so if we're bringing in another striker I'd say it's more likely to be Doyle on his way out than SEB.

Heard we were linked with darius henderson from milwall who scored 19 goals last season also after him are brighton, cardiff and sheffield wednesday

Its defenders we want you know we aint had any for 3 years appart from the dross we allready have

Another youngster finished the season strong for the reserves was striker liam mccalinden, (MOM against chelsea) can see him making a break through this season along with zelli

ed have you got any news on the likes of markus henriksen?

{Ed011's Note - Just rumours that we are interested in him, I wouldn't be surprised if we made a move, there are bigger clubs looking at him but crucially people say he's after 1st team football and Rosenberg apparently have financial trouble and would accept a bid of £2.5million. He's a player Solbakken would know well being so young and in the Norwegian national team. Our main rival in getting him would be Celtic but like with Siggy I think having Solbakken would win us the deal coupled with the promise of future premier league football on our side over the Scottish Prem, I think he could be ours.

If we did get him I'd expect him to be first team so then there is the complicated task of who we'd play in the middle out of at least 4 mid/low Premier League standard players in Henriksen, Davis, O'Hara and even though you may disagree Henry, especially if we play 4-4-2. If it was me I'd be looking to play one of the older players with one of the younger ones so maintain some experience and as Davis and Henry are more CDMs that could work well. So it would be O'Hara and Davis or Henry and Henriksen (also that's great alliteration) and eventually playing Davis and Henriksen together. If we did get him I'd expect 1 or even 2 of Milijas, Geudioura and Edwards to go.

Ohara will go...
{Ed011's Note - There are arguments for and against his staying and the possibility of his leaving but some part of me foresees his staying. Granted Premier League football must be the ultimate goal for any player but O'Hara stressed when he joined he wanted to stay for a long time, he signed a 5 year contract and has said as recent as March when asked about the clubs then possibly relegation:
“I’d love to stay at the club, I bought a house here, I want to be at the club. I’ve signed for five years, I wouldn’t want to leave. It is just what the club want to do.
“It is not something I’m thinking about. I’m thinking about playing in the Premier League, not thinking about playing in the Championship next season.”

He has a very young family and despite those one or two stupid fans who supposedly verbally attacked him I'd like to think he'd give us at least a season. I also remember him saying that one day he'd like to Captain Wolves and I don't think I'd be against it. O'Hara is a quality player who came back too early from injury to try and save the club from relegation, maybe a season in the championship would give him and a lot of our players their confidence back.

Ireally hope you are right, seriously think when fit and with a more attacking and playin football philosophy then he could turn out to be a legend. Hopefully the jealous morons tryin to hound him out of the clubwill dissapear down the road to Sandwell

Good shut oharas mouth is to big slagging off wolves supporters hes overated

Can u blame ohara for slagging us off he was angrily confronted by one of our fans after a game while holding his son.

i hope he doesnt go though he can be great player for us in champinship but if a prem team comes in with the right price he will go {Ed011's Note - He was hardly slagging fans off even when that happened, he said on twitter that he was gutted as the rest of the fans after we lost to Blackburn but its not right that fans wanted to fight him when he was holding his baby kid. Unless I missed the incident in question.

Im sure it was only one fan who confronted o hara there were some fans who were trying to hold him back from o hara but still really hope he does stay

As long as ward goes i dont care

Apparently we were linked with Markus Henriksen, the young lad looks class.... so surely the news in the Scottish paper the Daily Record......
'Cash-strapped Rosenborg have pleaded with Celtic to make a £2.5m move for 19-year-old midfielder Markus Henriksen'
If this is true then maybe we should be making a move...... surely we could throw in Jonsson as part of a deal..... : )

We offer no champions league football,
And as much as it pains me to say, we would be a drop down for him since relegation! Allways hopeful but I can't see it peeps

Well ive just tweeted him and begged for him to come and sign. And ive had a word with Stale just to get the ball rolling:) {Ed011's Note - I feel somewhat responsible for the Sigurdarson deal for similar reasons.

He's looking for regular first team football, he is far from a champions league player. We offer development and preparation to play in the biggest league in the world
Not a bad starting point IMO.
