i remember a couple of years back we were after dale jennings, he want to bayern but was only in there be team, he was 17 back then so be about 19 now, maybe worth a shout.
Nothing so far ed no rumours? Ain't even herd of potential deals in or out, must say i'm disappointed so far three weeks into a window an nothing happened an the excuse of changing manager doesn't wash cuz deano woulda been thinking wat if we had him or this could work etc right from start? Plus solbakken wudda had discussion bout good players worth looking at in place? All in all its not sounding good? Tamworth any happy clapping for current goings on

He's been linked with sheff wednesday, I remember him being very good at tranmere, we had a bid turned down for him when he was there, he's young and hungry, can't see him getting in the bayern frst team, defo worth a punt.

It took 5 posts before we got the I'll drive him there myself post, personally I would find it interesting to see him in a good team that would that would dominate possession, where he could use his great first touch and vision to bring other players into the game. Instead of lugging his sorry ass all over the pitch having to work like a dog.

Hope Dean is brave enough to give Hammill a start on Saturday. I know not all fans in favour, but if Hammill turns it on he will soon win them over. We need someone to ruffle a few feathers.
All the talk of him being a bad boy and everyone in the team not liking him. Then I see pictures of him training with the first team. Surely if the rumours were true he'd be training with the reserves or youngsters?? Some on here are right romancers!

{Ed011's Note - West Brom's Craig Dawson, who it was rumoured we were interested in bringing in on loan, has gone on loan to Bolton on a 3 month deal.
Sums us up again players about but were are we noway the day morgan moves on will be the day wolves can move forwards would morgan acted like this if we were his beloved club if wolves were spelled liverpool

Just watching our old boy dan jones playing left back for port vale. Looks far more competent and composed than ward, and his distribution has been decent aswell. Must be worth a shout?

Any news on frimpong ? Rumours flying about on twitter that he's either coming on loan to wolves or has potentially signed a new contract with arsenal. Any ideas ?
{Ed011's Note - I'm keeping my eyes on all kinds of news regarding Frimpong at the moment. He's recently changed his twitter name so that the AFC (Arsenal Football Club) has been removed, and it looks as though Arsenal may not be offering him a contract with his current deal ending at the end of the year it's looking likely that they could try to move him on in January.
Nothing concrete as always but looks like the start of a possible move. Today he tweeted "Today been a very good day" with some people suggesting that he'd been offered a new contract, but that could've been to do with Ghana's victory in the African Cup of Nations today, or there being a move on the cards that pleases him, with it being widely known that he considers us to be his second club to Arsenal.
Frimpong was on the bench for Arsenal yesterday. so making me have doubts now.
He said he loved MM a while ago and when pushed wouldn't say he was happy about wolves move just kept saying MM was great manager
He hardly played for us I don't understand all the hype!
Frimpong is no where near good enough for Arsenal. He is only on the bench because injuries to Arteta / Diaby / Coquelin / Rosicky.
Would love to see him at the wolves again but wages could be an issue.

{Ed011's Note - Chris Hughton today confirms that he has made enquiries into signing Kei Kamara, 28-year old striker from Sporting Kansas in the MLS.
That would mean, with Kamara, Norwich would have Holt, Morrison, Kane (on loan from Norwich) and Simeon Jackson. Could this move be because we could be signing Simeon Jackson before the end of January and Kamara has been brought in so a gap isn't left?
{Ed011's Note - On loan from Tottenham* he's not on loan to Norwich from Norwich. Silly me.

They also want either graham or hooper so I think either morriison or joackson would be a good shhout tbh, both decent players who have been in the entire of the football league so not just a buy for now and not wishful thinking prem players who won't work in the championship

Why oh why are people hell bent on us signing a 5'7" striker that is 10st 12 lbs wringing wet who offers us nothing better than we have other than pace! We have a 6'1" striker almost if not as quick who weighs a stone more, is far stronger and more powerful! The way Saunders likes to play Wells is an absolute non starter! Guys we have to be aiming for better players than Wells! Simeon Jackson would be a far better option as he is proven at this level! {Ed011's Note - I agree, Nahki Wells could be brilliant, I'd be keeping an eye on him if I was the manager but his league record isn't convincing, Simeon Jackson looks like the better option to me.
Lets play Peszko on the left, Boukari on the right, Sigi up front and Sako in behind him! Then play O'Hara and Doumbia down the middle. Pick any 4 from the rest at the back!

Honestly I rate Wells over SEB. SEB is too slow and too big and too small to be any threat really at any level, doesn't look to be getting fitter. Taking the whole 'proven at this league' nonsense away from it all, Wells is probably the better player. Much faster, likes to crack a shot that doesn't require him being 5ft in front of goal, would win more balls than Blake. If he was determined enough to succeed at 'this level' that at the moment we don't deserve to be in, might I add, then yes, he's better than SEB without a doubt. Something of a young tenacious Doyle we once knew had an eye for goal. {Ed011's Note - Don't you think Sigurdarson is something of a young tenacious Doyle type player?
Siggy I think could be great and them two up front would be great. However, I think siggy is Stale's boy and hasn't settled in yet even though he claims to have. Having been promised a lot and for him to produce so little suggests to me he might be going back to Norway next season, but that's just a thought.
SEB has scored 1 in 3 this season! I wouldn't pick him in the starting line up with everyone fit but I'd have him off the bench ahead of Wells everyday of the week! People are talking about Wells like he's going to be some great striker in the Premier League! How many clubs are chasing him and more to the point who are they! He had a trial at Huddersfield with a view to signing for them and he wasn't considered good enough! They didn't bother with him! There are other strikers out there better than him who'd do a job for us! More to the point we have better young strikers here who haven't had a chance yet!

anyone else think that a bid for becchio wouldn't be unambitious, I reckon we could get him for 2-3 million and that would be a good signing. good feet and presence in the air, plus is prepared to work and create.

I think we need to reassess our requirements. We were known as a club that wanted young and hungry payers under MM, nothing wrong with that, but despite ploughing money into these type of players for the future and the academy we have yet to see any real returns, promising talent has not been utilised and been allowed to leave becoming a success elsewhere. We should perhaps be looking at established players such as Warnock that can do a short term job for us. I know we have gone this way before under Sir Jacks regime, but we need to stop the rot .
Is Dean up to it and will Morgan/Moxey move in a that direction.

Agree sooner get back up the better the money in premier you get is outstanding and it can only make you a better club the longer you leave it the longer you will be left behind next year the money for being in prem will take a big rise so moxey morgan pull your fingers out and lets back deano without going to mad with the purse strings but give him a fighting chance for 1 last push to get into play offs who nows with a bit of luck for a change we might do it because there's nothing special in this league and we can beat anybody on our day with our fans behind us who nows lets start with blackpool

U all slate ward but tbf he didn't sign for us as a lb! He was a striker! And always puts a shift in! Granted he isn't the best lb but its not he's been played there! A lot of players would of been off by now if they had been played out of position for 3 years
