I was in chester yesterday I bumped into mr morgan having a beer in a quiet side pub I didn't want to approach him but when I went to the mens he walked in I said you selling the wolves steve he looked and smiled said no chance. that was it I walked out the pub after.

Well I want to believe it so I'm going to. Cum on me babbies

Funny I was on a business development initiative in London yesterday at which Mr Morgan spoke. He stayed at our hotel, he spoke to me a little about wolves but gave nothing away other than he felt let down by those around him and he just hoped that things can workout and he was really hurting. He wants the best for Wolves that was clear.

I'm lucky enough to be in possession of a first team shirt given to me by a current player which as a wolves fan I do wear with pride. My day off was today and I was proudly wandering round Telford stopped for a coffee and got chatting to a guy who plays for wolves u-21s sadly didn't recognise him but spoke well, won't name him, that's not fair. Said he thinks Saunders is on borrowed time and he thinks if Wolves do go down it may be a blessing in disguise.

To be honest I think Morgan does like the club and does want the best he's building better academy and training facility's new and better ground all of which will bring bigger profits higher crowds better players etc! But it's a long term plan and obvs there's no point carrying on with the ground ATM but when it's all done and finished will look amazing and make us an even bigger and better club. He has also put money into the team not as much as hoped but he has I think he has just been badly advised with managers players and even CEO choices. I hope we stay up and I hope we start again with the squad using more younger and acadmy players work are way up to the prem and then finish the ground as there's a set time limit on how long we have to finish it! That's my thoughts anyway half of you will probably disagree just for the sake of it oh well.

Wow Steve Morgan gets around doesn't he?

Stayed off site for some time, but enough is enough we are going down, who is to blame.
A Morgan
B moxey
C Morgan and. Moxey
D the players

Lets have a poll.

The division one realist.

Not forgetting Mick and then TC

E those fans that jeered Hunt
F the refs who disallowed O'Hara's goal at Barnsley and allowed Boro's goal at the Mol.
G Saunders for messing with a forward line of Hunt wide left and Siggy wide right.
H Luton for being very unkind to us
I Beckford for being a natural finisher
J the blame culture

B and D money advises on managers etc and players have been useless. Morgan has put up ten mil for players this season one if the highest in the league if it would have been spent better we would be in a much better place

I blame Morgan for keepin McCarthy to long, then givin Connor the job! I then blame the Wolves fans who were anti Steve Bruce and Morgan for takin notice of them! Paul Tamworth

D, D & D - We had players that just didn't perform!

"chatting to a guy who plays for wolves u-21s sadly didn't recognise him but spoke well, won't name him, that's not fair"

err. how do you know his name if you didn't recognise him?

Dean Saunders has told close family and friends that he will be leaving Wolves at the end of the season regardless of what happens. This is said to be due to a complete working breakdown with Steve Morgan. DS was made promises by the board on taking the job that have not been fulfilled. And is not just the team strengthening side of things. DS fears that Wolves are close to financial meltdown and is looking to distance himself from the club.
Source - Family friend. This is genuine.

To be fair he was ment to cut the squad down when he came which he never did so well see. scary times for the club if money is an issue

A genuine lie yes!

Stop causing trouble, we're in a enough of it as it is. Let's just pray we win our final two games and other results go our way.

If you're bored, focus on the team you support, West Brom.

I hope so feel sorry for deano, but morgan and moxey told lies to him where did the war chest go, he was promsied. in jan, on moxey eating pies, seems like there's soming going on at the wolves, but morgan and moxey saying nothing to the fans?

Fingers crossed!

Would be the best bit of news I've heard since the clown turned up.

No reason to doubt any of this until reference is made to financial meltdown. This is just mischief making flavour of the day. This club is solid, some may say too solid and we should have risked more. Maybe £7m on Rhodes. But if any one is thinking of writing us off your in for a disappointment. We are solid and we have a good youth system. We will be back. Wolves ay we!

Heard the same rumour from 2 sources in last 24 hours. If relegated morgan will put us in administration! Find it hard to believe as we are meant to be financially sound. Anybody else heard this? Newportwolf

It'll give us a means of dismissing senior players.

And start the season 10 points down.

More likely he will sell heres hoping. and hope he sells if we stay up

Hope your right Jason, but I do think Morgan will def put us in administration if we go down! He's a business man and not a football one! Here's hopin we avoid relegation! Paul Tamworth

There are some really stupid rumours going round. When Wolves went into administration in the early 80s the main shareholder at the time Harry Marshall lost every penny. As if Steve Morgan would run such a risk. You don't just go into administration, certain legally binding criteria must apply, with creditors knocking on your door, usually these days the tax man. There is no chance, thank God, that Wolves will be put into administration any time soon.

What a bizarre rumour. The only benefit from administration is to ring fence a the business from a range of creditors. It would need court approval and then the agreement of creditors who would need to feel their interest was best served by the process. It would shift authority away from Morgan to dispose of the club as he saw fit. His only real creditors are the players, if he reneged on their contracts he would be sued and his reputation destroyed. Much simpler just to dispose of the asset as he has done a hundred times before.

You can't go into administration without being declared insolvent. Wolves are far from insolvent, which would basically mean we couldn't pay debts as and when they fall due. Morgan may well sell, but I doubt it very much.

If Wolves did go into admin, Morgan would be the very last person paid from any subsequent sale as the only shareholder. Doesn't make business sense to me.

Can you put a business that is allegedly operating in profit and has no debts into administration? Surely not.

You cannot put you own company into administration. You can put it into voluntary liquidation. The liquidator would then try to raise revenue whilst selling the company as a going concern. I would doubt that you could go into voluntary liquidation unless you didn't have the ability to pay your debts. The owner would also loose any asset or holding they had in the company. It is a last resort. Morgan may have a few financial issues at present or not but he certainly ain't got to that point yet.

Morgan has told Saunders he will be given the chance to get us back into the championship should we go down. However he will have to lose 20 players from the wage bill first to go will be the big earners. There will be no players coming in Saunders will be asked to utilise the youngsters. Excellent source.

For gods sake i'm not deano should be sacked, after the last game against brighton, and morgan and moxey, give it 2 years wolves be playing my local team kidderminster

If that is correct and they just play the kids then we should expect to go right through the leagues in successive seasons like we did in the 80s. We will have £16m parachute money next season, no matter if relegated, and if they don't use that to make a sustained challenge to get promoted, then we really are in a Bhatti mark2 stage and we will need to man the barricades at every Redrow site in the Country.

Why do you think we are starting to read a lot this season about our Under 21's and how well the players and the team are doing? That's because next season whatever division we end up in, these lads will be bought into the fist team to replace the overpaid under achievers like Henry/Ward/Berra/Foley/Johnson/Doyle. These are the high earners that will hopefully be moved out. Morgan will support A Manager next season but it won't be Saunders, from what I can understand we are to approach Darren Fergason at the end of the season and he will be offered the Task of re building Wolves with a mix of experienced Championship players and the youth we have in our existing Under 21 team. Announcement will come a week after the season Ends.

The last 5 games the under21s lost 4 and drew 1. Last week the under18s lost to MK Dons. I doubt it very much much if the quality is there. Playing the kids is just a cheap option and if you throw them in before they are ready, you will ruin them.
