Wolves in for the loan signing of west hams Ricardo Vaz Te according to TNS

I just wrote on another forum that he would be a good signing now there's a rumour about it. Boom! He would be good for us definitely do a job in the championship, 21 goals in his last championship campaign.

Yeah perfect fit.
My only fear is that prem clubs will demand game time.
Think a promising youngster from the lower leagues is a more realistic possibility.

Why KJ is not having a look at Eoin Doyle of Chesterfield I'll never know! The lad knows where the net is & is just the right age! I'm sure he'd love a move to a big club & would be desperate to do well! COYW!!

Decent player but surely we can't be held to guarantee game time? That wouldn't be right, especially as Dicko will still be our first choice striker I presume. I suspect his wages aren't prohibitive either.

Yes I heard the same rumour the loan would be until end of dec, to help regain fitness aswell as playing time! Big sam apparently praising wolves facilities

Read on a few websites we are possibly looking at loaning big Steven Fletcher.

What you lot think of the possibility of this happening?

With or without his head?

I think he will be a brill signing if he stays fit . I know he didn't leave with dignity like jarvis but I would definatly have him back

Steven Fletcher was the most complete striker seen down the Molineux in recent years better than Doyle in his 1st season If available sign him up King Kenny Asap!!

Never if he comes I'm off

Off where? If he comes and starts firing on all cylinders we may as well start preparing for the Premier League now.

Please reconsider 'The Realist' we wouldn't be able to get by without you.

A team built on hardworking hungry players ruined by a self centered money grabbing me heads gone ego and Jason 123 bet you travelled a 150 mile round trip to be in the 2200 at our lowers ebb.the guy couldn't get out of here quick enough no way should we have him back I would be gutted.
My pride in being a wolves fan has been restored and I'm sure Jackett will find a better option than greedy boy.

No ta the person can stay away from wolves him and kightley will never be welcome back #headsgone.

Kenny is keeping his options open on this one. Fletcher is a proven goal scorer. The guys in the first team nowadays for the best part won't have had much to do with him. Exceptions are Stearman, Edwards and Ikeme.

If he's available he is what we need. A target man that can hit the back of the net. With any luck he's relocated that head of his.

Put it this way. would you do the same same job for a different company if they doubled your current salary? I know I would. Same thing goes for Fletcher, he had an offer to stay in the Premier League and chose it. He doesn't have a connection like us fans do with the club!

If he did come and then scored 15-20 goals, I'm sure 99% of fans would forget that he left when he got a better offer from a Prem team. As far as I'm concerned we should be trying our utmost to get him back, there's not many strikers better in the air and that is exactly what we need.

Be nice for him to get into the ear of Ikeme batth McDonald Sako etc and tell what fools they would be to show any loyalty to their employers management team mates and fans.i reiterate he couldn't get away quick enough no thanks to fans no regrets.he is a mercenary and a wanna be big time Charlie.decent player yes but what we need??

The Realist- If you have not been in the same job since you were a teenager until now then you showed no loyalty to those who originally employed you and you are therefore a hypocrite.

Also, I am guessing if you were offered a promotion at work you would turn it down as you wouldn't want to be a 'big time Charlie'.

Again, Steven Fletcher is not a Wolves fan. He owes us nothing. He wants to prolong his career in the top flight for aslong as possible, which I think most of us would do too.

Stephen George Bull MBE. Remember him.

Ed what was wrong with first post, have I got no right to reply

{Ed001's Note - yours was just a personal childish attack, so no, not if all you are going to do is pick a fight over nothing.}

Fletcher wouldn't flourish in this league imo. Poor work ethic, slow, all style and little substance. Not ingredients needed to succeed in Championship. Vaz Te much better suited to our styl and his league.

Ed I spoke the truth wipe the last bit (agreed Ha and post it)

{Ed001's Note - sorry mate, I would have done but it was deleted, not just put aside. But basically you were just pointing out you were not a hypocrite as you had been in the same company since you started working. I just hope they look after you well!}

Oh n ed haven't been called childish since 1969 haha

{Ed001's Note - I am not taking the blame for that one then, I wasn't even born then!}

I want to become an editor, lol ;)

Fletchers a great players and if be happy to see us bring a proven goal scorer in I worry the longer we leave it the less likely this will be

However I don't agree saying he's a big time Charlie he wanted to play at the highest level which he has done fair play to him if he is now struggled long and wants to come back to the championship and re build his confidence that's fine if he is committed and continues to score I'm sure everyone will change there mind. He is also exactly what we need hight and good in the air and we have so many crosses in games and great wingers he could really do wel

My only concern is his fitness and injury prone. We can't really afford an expensive striker who isn't guaranteed to play.

I would like to see a possible move for vaz te does anyone know much about the other west ham player were linked with Elliot?
