Julen Lopetegui will be the new general manager of Wolverhampton, team of the English second division. In the absence of the signature of his contract and his assistants, the commitment is complete with Posum Chinese group has entered European football with force. From the 29 th of june could it be robin li is part of fosun not posum and he is still involved according to sky interview with julen lopitigui?

23 Jul 2016 23:24:52
Read the article. Lopitigui would be our manager now if it hadn't been for the delays. He would have brought the players with him who trust him. Now we are in a pretty poor state squad wise just a few weeks from the start of a season. so even when he's leaving moxey managed to put the boot in and prevent us from having a renound manager and quality player arriving. Can't see how moxey is allowed to continue in his position when he is heading off to a rival team. He should be on gardening leave so he can't effectively spy on us for his new employer and one of our main rivals for promotion.

23 Jul 2016 23:41:11
Balague interviewed Lopetegui and asked him about the involvement of Robin Li, Lopetegui says he's the main man behind the group that's bought wolves.

23 Jul 2016 23:44:02
Can anyone confirm they saw Giggs at Port Vale game. A bit strange, if so.

23 Jul 2016 23:49:56
This wasn't down to moxey, someone mentioned that Morgan was getting clever, trying to move the goal posts to get more money from the deal, that was the supposed "red tape" that was holding things up.
Sure it was something to do with Compton park?

23 Jul 2016 23:51:30
JAKABAN that as June what neww news is this? Just move on his is not coming.

23 Jul 2016 23:51:35
2 choices: Laudrup or Pulis please.

It's an article from June the 29 th I know juleps not coming, my point is that robin li is part of the wolves takeover which was said by guillem yesterday, what I'm saying is that in the artic all it says posum was buying ac milian could it be that it was misheard and it's actually fosun, who have bought wolves, what I'm getting at is robin li joint owner of wolves, will it be announced on Monday?

24 Jul 2016 10:59:59
If Robin Li And fosun involved would this make us the richest club on the planet.? Very hard to keep a lid on that.

23 Jul 2016 21:01:59
We are currently in talks with former Belgium coach Marc Wilmots to take over the reigns at Wolves.

23 Jul 2016 21:49:48
Wilmots unlikely to want to come to us.

23 Jul 2016 21:50:49
Got sacked from his last club job in 2005 and failed to win anything at international level despite the talent at his disposal.
He's foreign and a 'name' I suppose - which it appears folks want.? Wouldn't be my choice, but hey ho, what do I know.

23 Jul 2016 22:12:44
Hope this is true great manager.

23 Jul 2016 22:48:30
Okay Shepherd thanks for info.
Wales will be pleased at this news especially since they beat his side at the Euro's.
Steve Bruce is having talks with WBA at a secret location near Handsworth and a deal is close.

23 Jul 2016 22:59:19
I'm sure this is another thing you've just made up Shep, but if this was to happen it would be a disaster. How did he get the Belgium job? His win rate before Belgium is shocking!

23 Jul 2016 23:41:47
Tony Pullis. Break the bank for him, anything. If you want him, go get him. He's the only one who could do everything we need over the next 4 years.

23 Jul 2016 23:52:22
I hope not he's another clueless manager got the best squad in the world and couldn't even beat Wales.

24 Jul 2016 01:31:27
Oh I see Sheps back. Yawn.
And Sidney- Wilmots is certainly NOT a "great" manager! He was appalling with an unbelievable Belgium squad at his disposal. I think you are blinded by a famous name.

24 Jul 2016 07:26:15
Tony pulis. hahahaha oh me sides am splitting. apart from keep teams in the premiere what the hell has the guy ever achieved. thought people wanted the glory days back at the wolves.

24 Jul 2016 08:44:00
For me its either him or bruce wilmots has worked with high callibre players yh it didn't work out but football wise wasnt bad bruce knows how to get out this league so that not a bad shout but if you want some one with great manager history there's only two name and that mourinho or pep bit let's face it to some of you lot we'll get them easy.

24 Jul 2016 08:55:18
Tony Pulis? Please god nOOOooooooo

And a no to Bruce and Wilmots

If Fosun want to flex their muscles they should get Hiddink in cause he's great at bringing a team together in a short space of time, he can change his tactics and be attacking or counter attacking and doesn't play boring football.

The negative is that he doesn't seem to like staying in one place for too long but that could work in our favour to get us to the Prem and gives us a season to strike a deal with a top manager on the basis Hiddink gets us promoted.

It would be embarrassing for all of us if the new owners decide to keep Jacket after the truth coming out about Lopetigui.

24 Jul 2016 09:30:12
My choice would be AVB!

23 Jul 2016 17:18:05
Just had a text to say Jackett is 100% staying on as manager. prepare yourself for our best players to sit on the bench and drab football.

23 Jul 2016 17:30:20
If that happens there's no point to the takeover!

23 Jul 2016 17:31:26
Yeh right you just reading what Tim spears has put on twitter lol and on the wolves website we going no where now boring football again.

23 Jul 2016 17:32:57
Just saw the tweets, lost for words, Coady at RB Saville on left, he needs to go!

23 Jul 2016 17:38:49
We need to make the owners aware that we don't want jackett.

23 Jul 2016 17:41:26
I know last season was a shambles and the football was atrocious bit think back to this time last year, did any of us think Kenny was doing a bad job after leading us to the League 1 title then narrowly missing out on the play offs. I'm sure we were all singing his praises. If he stays and as long as the players he wants are brought in I'm sure we'll do well. Remember that for the last 3 seasons he has been Head Coach not Manager meaning that he was told to coach someone else's choice of players. Hopefully Kenny or whoever replaces him can have more of a say who is brought in.

23 Jul 2016 17:46:02
They say they'll talk before the press conference, if he was stayin why not tell him that and give him a new contract? Imo they will be lining a new manger up tonight and tomorrow and hopefully get it sorted for Monday's press conference.

23 Jul 2016 17:49:37
Shocking decision.

23 Jul 2016 17:52:02
New brush sweeps clean! Jacket might have spoken to Jeff Shi last night but he's been to the game today and if he knows anything about football he must realise it's time for a change. Even if Jackett had the millions he would still by a right back to play left wing!
We need a specialist for this division and being ruthless I would give it to Bruce then when he got us up change manager and really go for it.

23 Jul 2016 17:59:28
Or he's been told he's going but keep his gob shut as they want a new manager to come as a big surprise to the fans? No way will people with this kind of money and connections keep a loser like JACKETT! I'm not havin it won't happen.

23 Jul 2016 18:01:32
Think we should gain automatic entrance to the champions league having been awarded both the championship and premiership trophy for next season.
FFS we havnt even had a press conference yet,
Sick of the whining sick of the negativity.
Wish we still had Morgan and Moxey.
What most of you deserve and what most of you want.

23 Jul 2016 18:06:09
He was never going to be told yes we will sack you on Monday. But can you still come into work. I think bearing in mind they've already offered his job it's just a matter of time. Marco silva seems to have a good track record although me and paul from Tamworth could manage olympiakos to the title the title in Greece!

23 Jul 2016 18:12:06
I expect it will be a Jorge Mendes man to come in. I just hope they realise we need to a manger who attacks and looks to win games as opposed to not lose.

There is a long list before Kenny jacket. We need someone with a standing in the game Giggs Bruce Martinez Coleman pellegrini all viable.

They will want a face at the club.

23 Jul 2016 18:12:06
KJ is a brilliant league 1 manager and that's all he is, he's not even a mediocre championship manager, he needs to go, and if that means a new man has no time to bed in, so be it'things will be steady by Christmas, write this season off as transitional then go for it next season.

23 Jul 2016 18:15:26
KJ is staying fact, no transfers until new CEO in place, this process will take us beyond transfer deadline date.
No new players in pipeline. Same old I'm afraid.
Lopetegui was never part of Fosun plans but an alternative takeover consortium (Robin Li) .

23 Jul 2016 18:27:09
Oxleymoorwolf you obviously haven't read the interview with Balague this morning when it was said by Lopitegui that Li was involved. We have a CEO and so we are told we will have 3 new players next week! Let's just wait for the press conference before we judge any one.

23 Jul 2016 18:31:29
Oxleymoorwolf. I take it you haven't read the Lopetegui interview?

23 Jul 2016 18:34:39
You say that but a £1.25mil player out, so clearly there's some transfer activity.
Surely they would have looked at last season where we set all sorts of records for being shite?!

23 Jul 2016 18:44:26
Oxleymoorwolf not according to him or someone is telling lies but we will find out shortly as if they keep Jacket then I will agree with you because whoever lined up that Spanish bloke didn't want Kenny. If they keep him it will show that defo Li was the other group who was not successful in buying the club. Hope they get rid tho he's useless.

23 Jul 2016 18:55:19
Just got back from port Vale, shocking today, can't believe Jackett is part of the plans or Thelwell for that matter, Jacket just can't be trusted with rebuilding for the fast approaching season. New owners, New direction but now! As there's no loans this season we could find ourselves in deep trouble.

23 Jul 2016 19:10:48
They are having talks with him tomorrow so Tim spears says so it could be 50 50 no one knows till tomorrow.

23 Jul 2016 19:12:40
Realist, get real! The 'fans' have been promised a returnto the premier at the earliest opportunity. It's then implied by out wonderful local newspaper that we carry on in the same vein as last year, even though we have new multibillionaires in charge. Now whilst I accept we should wait till Monday, given the expectation levels, exactly how do you expect them to react to this bombshell.?!

23 Jul 2016 19:22:21
Jackett might be staying, implies Tim Spiers? Rubbish. That's what Tim said about Chinese takeover rumours. Tim knows bugger all. We all heard about the takeover from other sources. The Daily Telegraph was the first mainstream UK paper to publish specifics.

Forget anything Tim Spiers says unless it is backed up by a proper newspaper.

23 Jul 2016 19:25:52
I've done business across the Indian sub continent and less but some in the Far East, and have some insight into the Chinese economy. Can't put it more simply, Wolves have a powerful alliance of two of China's wealthiest entrepreneurs ready to do what it takes. Failure won't be tolerated in China, if they do government backed finance might just lose faith in their ventures. They understand the stakes.

In the next few days watch the role Gestifute play in shaping the club's future. We are about to enter into cross border partnerships which will revolutionise club brand, profile, profitability like few of us can imagine.

Football club, and with it the city are readying for take off.

23 Jul 2016 19:30:30
I was at the no show today, can't bring myself to call that stuff a game, the thugs and wide necks took one look and spent the next 80 minutes in the bar area singing their heads off, who's the thick ones.

I wasted £10 today and as a Scot that breaks my heart, what the hell did KJ learn, he brought Bright on and that was it. On face value, he played his best team, Jesus Christ are we in trouble.

Me, thank Dog for the takeover, Monday can't come soon enough for me, let's see the masterplan and move on.
No more Moron or Poxey

It just don't get any better than that, Can it?

23 Jul 2016 19:29:24
There is something happening with li and this guangchang or whatever his name is just because that spanish chap said that li is behind the whole buying the club. Could this mean both parties could be joining up to be one consortium and but equal money with equal rights to the club or was li actually buying club and he couldn't pass fa test so guangchang come in and he will bring li in later what's your opinion?

23 Jul 2016 19:49:42
He has to go, Big Jeff if u haven't the balls to sack him il do it for u?

23 Jul 2016 19:54:23
Poz, give it a rest.
Never disrespected any poster on here but don't get outta your depth.

23 Jul 2016 20:04:58
Paul Tamworth, of course there is a point to the takeover! We're rich, we'll be bringing in players of a good quality. Jackett won't have a say in transfers.

23 Jul 2016 20:08:33
Danceswithwolves at last someone with a bit of common sense and knowledge of the culture thank you for your comments and I believe everything you say. This is a real venture for the Fosungrouo and we could have been bought by Mr Tony Xia at Villa. He won't even disclose hi wealth and seems content in being the showman. I really can't wait for the next few weeks it's going to be exciting.

23 Jul 2016 20:15:09
Well put stuwolf.

23 Jul 2016 21:22:02
Realist, I believe we're all on the same side here. I'm just responding to what you said. People, yes me included are looking for information or any indication that our club is going to move forward from this wonderful position we're in. When our local paper, 'implies' that things may not move that way, and yes, some expectations need to be managed, but to call everyone negative etc etc I thought was harsh. Nobody's disrespecting anybody this side. like I said, we're all on the same side.

23 Jul 2016 21:19:42
Realist, don't mate.

Monday is really going to piss him off anyway, there is a very boring common thread to his posts. He's not going to listen anyway.

Stu.

23 Jul 2016 22:39:32
