Rumour has it that Jackett will be sacked on either Wednesday or Thursday if we don't win at Brentford tonight! Morgan is in serious talks with Ince but Moxey wants someone like Curbishly etc.

23 Feb 2016 08:56:47
Just a thought, if we don't win tonight and JACKETT gets sacked, it could be good news if Ince comes in as Moxey obviously doesn't want him? So bring him in and we may kill two birds with one stone, JACKETT sacked and Moxey may walk as well as he's been undermined? Fingers crossed heyπŸ‘.

23 Feb 2016 09:26:31
Jackett won't be going anywhere until the end of the season. No source just pure fact.

23 Feb 2016 09:48:50
6 without a win! Season over in February! Keep losin he will be gone! He's only on a year rollin contract so peanuts to get rid of him! Just because we're up for sale doesn't mean he's safe!

23 Feb 2016 10:05:16
Would Moxey walk if Ince comes in? Turkeys don't vote for Christmas. Moxey has been here longer than Sepp Blatter. He would never leave. If push comes to shove he might even be able to put a consortium together to buy us, then he would be chairman and CEO!

23 Feb 2016 10:40:24
If Moxey could of got a consortium together he'd of done it by now? I think he would of done it when Sir Jack sold us for a tenner with the promise of 30mil investment.

23 Feb 2016 10:58:36
Has morgan brought the club out of spite, it would seem that all the major desisions regarding managers, Saunders solbakken etc have his stamp all over them, now people are saying he's considering Ince as a replacement for cackett. is he trying to destroy this club or am I like others just paranoid.

23 Feb 2016 11:29:27
You're right jimmyjones about Morgan's terrible decisions. But, he hasn't made them out of spite, they are just rubbish decisions! Morgan has proved to be a truly awful decision-maker at Wolves, impulsive, autocratic, emotive, rash, foolhardy. (I could go on all day) .

Paul, it doesn't necessarily follow that Moxey will not put a consortium together. He may never even have thought about it before, he was just am employee, albeit one with a great job. He was never a businessman, but he might well try and become a businessman now to save his job.

23 Feb 2016 11:48:03
U might be right Deep Throat but imo he would of made his move a while back. I still think the Realist is right that there is a bid on the table but Morgan wants more. But Morgan will realise he's losin money every month that goes past with the upkeep of our club and wages etc. Remember no more parachute payments anymore.

23 Feb 2016 13:09:49
Moxey? He had been a puppet, a mouth for Sir Jack , a poor excuse for Morgan. He can't express any true feelings of his own, he would'nt know what to say. He is an emoyee and I can undetstand why any buyers would want him out. IF and I mean IF kj goes Moxey will portray himself as the tough decision maker, but I think we all know he'll be just stepping into the media for his own ego. What useful comment has he made this season.?

23 Feb 2016 13:48:03
Tomorrow mornin, when he announces JACKETT has left the club! πŸ‘.

23 Feb 2016 13:57:13
Sack Jackett as head coach and promote him to manager and give him until the end of next season, he doesn't have a say in transfers.

23 Feb 2016 14:06:05
End of next season? R u mad?

23 Feb 2016 16:33:13
Your right Paul, there is no more parachute money, but he just sold Afobe for 9 million. If money is needed before someone buys the club, then its just a question of another player getting sold.

23 Feb 2016 16:40:47
PT - no he's not! Sadly you salivate over KJs poor season. May be you should rename yourself the grim reaper? Like all of us I'm confident KJ wants success for Wolves. Why wouldn't he? As you say to sack him would be cheap as chips in his contract. Further, I'm equally confident if we all knew what was really going on, like the disagreer has intimated above, then we too would be doing/ saying the same as KJ.

23 Feb 2016 16:54:56
JACKETT puts van la parra, coady and Saville in front of macdonald, Price and Byrne? The guys team selection, tactics and substitutions are woeful. I won't change my opinion of him but if u happy clappers want this mediocracy stick with JACKETT, hopefully Morgan and Moxey will agree with me and F--k him off!

23 Feb 2016 18:03:28
Personly I'd rather M/M f'off 1st. But kj is intolerable.we've no defence, no attack, keepers who don't know if they're in or out and an abundance of midfielders who come in go out. Why? VLP as said it they don't care they get paid no matter what. Get shot.

23 Feb 2016 19:08:32
Thelwell too, he's a joke.
If Lionel Messi was under his nose he would miss him.
He is looking for something in players that ain't there.
Again I could quote chapter and verse,
Jackett should have the power he aint.
Thelwell wants to find a superstar to make his name and is gambling with the future and progression of our club.

23 Feb 2016 20:40:17
Looks like the sack in the morning! Brentford have been shocking lately but still going to beat us.

23 Feb 2016 21:30:50
Sacked in the mornin, your getting sacked in the mornin.

23 Feb 2016 21:43:27
Sacking KJ in the morning would put him and us out of our misery. We had a decent away record recently but that's gone now. We need a survival specialist like Nigel Pearson.

23 Feb 2016 21:44:53
Thought jackett did an excellent job for two years. Things have gone against him this year. No sako replacement. Dicko injury. Club up for sale. Even the graham injury. I've been a big fan of his. But this months training ground bust up with macdonald and recent performances would suggest he has lost the dressing room. That's something even mourinho couldn't recover from. Not sure any replacement would fill us with excitement at the moment but having said that neither did the appointments of Macarthy or jackett and had at least a couple of great seasons under both. Pains me to say but it is time for a change.

23 Feb 2016 21:49:52
Can it get any worse, beaten by a mediocre Brentford, oppps my have called them brencelone how much time we gave them. I'm pulling hair out now 😠😠😠.

23 Feb 2016 22:01:26
I do wish Wolves fans would show Jackett a bit more respect. Yes he might be making mistakes but overall he has done a decent job.

When he took over Wolves were far more of a shambles than they are now. He made some big decisions early on by leaving out some big earners and using far more youth players than many former managers dared to use. He has always come across as a gentleman with great class. While many Wolves fans might want him sacked and I think fans should also show a little class and keep the language used a bit more respectful.

23 Feb 2016 22:34:53
Fair enough clive. My old car did a great job on a cheap budget for me, but when it could no longer prove reliable I had to scrap it. I was sorry to leave it that way but the change was what I needed. Bye KJ thanks for the lift.

23 Feb 2016 23:02:44
Clivewolves I think Jacket has reached his level and there must be a reason why he's not gone up a level at every club he's been at!

23 Feb 2016 23:26:48
Clive mate if you think turning a fast attack minded team that played football on the deck into a hoof it from defence to strikers as doing a good job then your watching the wrong sport mate you need to start watching rugby where the up and under is part of the game. Yes I appreciate that we have lost key players to injury and being sold but again that is part of no metal jackets remit in making sure that we have a squad not just a team

There were a lot of people on various sites that have questioned the signing he has made over the last couple of year, the likes of savill vlp coady etc I for one honestly think that these types of players were probably not his first choice signings and were made just for the sake of bringing people into the club, mason without a shadow of a doubt was brought into the club without his full support he has almost and it is almost said as much in interviews when you read between the lines he wanted an out and out striker. But and its a if but he could of said no he could have said give me who I want or don't bring anyone at all that's what anyone with a pair would have said. I have said it before and I'll say it again line ups subs tactics style of play etc are his remit he decides them and unfortunately the buck stops with him on that side. We all know there are major issues with the 2 amigos above him but they do not dictate what happens on the pitch he does. I understand that there have been 4 serious offers for the club all of which have failed for one reason and that's Morgan is playing hardball he is pushing for every single penny that he can get. 1 of these would be prepared to come back to the table but it would be for the original offer and not what Morgan's wants.

Excellent post Clive. But the problem is Kenny simply does not learn from his mistakes. Problems of delayed substitutions, unnecessary meddling with tactics and leaving out key players. These are not problems addressed in the past week. To be pedantic about it, such infuriating mistakes have been made repetitively since the start of last season. How long we most of us (myself included) harping on about how isolated Afobe was up front? Or his hesitance in making a substitute before the final 5 minutes - often not even using 1 or 2 of his allotted subs? I'm sorry and I've much appreciation for Kenny steering us out of a very difficult situation; clubs the size of Coventry and Sheffield United are still to overcome what we did in a year. But the reality is, with more consistency, we'd have had a play-off spot last season. This season has been nothing short of a shambles, top to bottom. In the synonymous words of Orange Juice, "Rip it up and start again! "
