Nuno out! 🤣 can someone tell me how no one associated with Wolves accept us fans can see that a striker was, is, and will always be an area where we need to strengthen. I'm lost for words at how frustrated I've become with the situation.
Even if they came out and said we will buy 2 strikers it would give the fans reassurance that we are not going to finish 15th again. If fans are honest and we were not to buy a striker could you honestly see us finishing higher than mid table?

I didn't realise you were a close confidant of Nuno, Darymple and Jeff Shi. How do you know they ain't buying a striker? Unfortunately, good players don't just grow on trees and the good ones are in demand and negotiations need to be held. Just be patient.

My point Jas is that should of been a priority area and whether they have something up their sleeve or not. it still doesn't why away from the fact we have brought a striker yet and when we do they will have had no preseason to gel and get to know the squad. Surely such a signing should have been done and dusted early doors in the window so that they could have got them firing on all cylinders in preaseaon so they hit the ground running. There's plenty of strikes we could have got with not too much trouble.

Which strikers are these!? An unnamed foreign forward who looks half decent on you tube or perhaps we should have snapped up Lukaku or Defoe!? Most clubs don't let go of strikers especially the ones that score goals a bit of patience is required. Of course a striker is on the list we will get someone in before the window shuts.

Wolves4 for God sale stop and try and think first. No club is going to let go of a decent striker here or in Europe. If they do the price will go through the roof. Remember where we are not every player we want will want to come here.
PL teams will be allocating squad numbers that may give an in road. But just remember other clubs want strilets too so try see the situation for what it is.

I still feel we need at least 2 strikers to cover injuries we've already lost neves and Costa 2 of our best players for early part of season there's going to b more teams like Shrewsbury to kick the crap out of our players we do need a lot of cover.

I agreee we do need a striker but I can understand what nunos trying to do in terms of sure up the defence and trying to get us playing football from the back first and working on the build up as last few seasons our strikers have been starved of service. I wouldn't panic just yet tho still a fair few weeks till the window shuts I'm sure it's his next area to address. Just like to point out huddersfield went up last year only scoring 2 more goals then us as they won a fair few games 1-0 just by being solid. This league is about consistency so as I said I can understand nunos logic for how his gone about building from the back.

We do need a striker who can finish the one or two chances that the midfield may or may not create for him. One new player bar all the defenders we have got in will not make enough of a difference.
1st half spine of the team coady, Edwards and Dicko
2nd half Batth, Price and Mason
Not good enough last season or before so why now? 2nd half was better though.

Good to see the club taking the u23 team up not just investing in the main squad, the structure in place should be able to help grow the players very well and even if they don't make first team will be sold for a profit later on.

If we don't sign a couple of decent strikers, then I think we are headed for an average finish in the league! We need goals and they are not going to come from what we have are they? Just the odd one here and there isn't going to cut it. We can build a huge dam at the back, but we need to be sharp at the front don't we? Goals win games or have I got my maths wrong?

We need a couple of Spitfires to lead and strike the opposition, currently, we have pussy cats! We have the Lancs at the back. A big enforcer in midfield would be a huge bonus too. It's the championship we're playing in, not the women's softball league! Our current crop of strikers haven't got what it takes! We all know that don't we?
Please address this area or we won't move far up the league.

To those who are likely to blame today's shocking display on the fact that Nuno hasn't signed any players with Championship experience, can I just point out that from the starting XI only 3 players (Boly, Miranda and Neves) would fit this description. The other 8 did no better so that isn't necessarily the problem. IMO, we need a midfield enforcer (a Rae or an Ince) because other sides will soon work out that if they bully us, we melt like snow in a heating boiler. We need a hatchet man and we need him urgently.

We lose a warm up game to a bunch of hatchet men who will have to play that way, week in week out, to get out of the league that they are in, and people are either jumping off a cliff, looking for us to sign even more players (to add to a very large squad) or (dare I say it) starting to tie the rope in a noose!
For God's sake go on holiday or do something to relax and get away from this constant pressure you keep heaping on yourselves, your pastime and your hobby
I for one, am still really excited about this season. We have made remarkable signings, some big statements as to how we are going to look in the future, and I believe we now have a Coach who can lead us in the right direction.
WWFC are now better equipped, more focused, and have a much better chance (emphasise this word as we are just one of twenty-odd teams in this division with the same ambition) of succeeding this season.
100% support all season, whatever the result, what ever the squad, whatever! Enjoy it. End of!
