We have had a bid rejected by Northampton town for Ivan Toney. that we are the unmade club to have made the bid

Hes good player I wouldn't be surprised if we go back in again

He will go into under 21's or loaned out if he comes. Time to strengthen first team I think.

Told you we needed strengthening, we all new we needed strikers else we are going to end up mid table, January transfers will cost money can't see Morgan spending can you wolves fans

Our position is a direct result of dithering and lack of investment .

Mooreroy mid table. Really.
We are in a serious relegation battle.
I posted a few weeks ago that Brentford have left us in their wake.
I don't normally post on a matchday but 3-0 flattered us today.
The mismanagement of this club under Morgan beggars belief.
The Dicko farce is laughable.
Morgan/moxey/thelwell/jackett.1, 2, 3 or 4 of you are culpable.
You have let your fans down.
I coach at a decent standard, if my team lost 5-0 I'd be embarrassed, if they then put in an even worse performance I'd hold my hands up and say we were out of our depth, I was out of my depth.
I am the realist it is grim my friends.
Forest are mid-table we are in a false position.
The 20000 plus loyal fans can see it.
Don't pull the wool gentlemen.
Put up or shut up.
Whoever is to blame the mismanagement is farcical.
Is time for the truth.
Why no Callum Wilson why no alex Pritchard why no Harry McGuire.
We could see it why can't those looking after OUR club.

The realist I couldn't of said it better my self I think we lace pace going foward we play a counter attacking formation so we need pace dave Edwards isn't a attacking midfielder he's not quick enough sako has his moments Henry doesn't do enough for me we miss golbourne going forward as well as at the back we need Stearman back in, if we can take some positives from today I thought graham had an alright game I thought van la parra offered a bit more when he came on I think Kevin McDonald plays better along side tommy Rowe I thought didn't have a bad game either I just think van la parra, golbourne, stearman, Jacobs, and dicko need to come back in or play dicko behind graham otherwise we need to invest in January otherwise we will be in a relagation scrap

Whoever disagreed to my post stand up and speak . Why do you disagree.

Agreed Realist, we have over achieved so far this season with a Div3 squad in the championship. But now we are bein found out, and unless players of Danny Graham quality aren't bought in we will be in a relegation fight. KJ got his subs back to front yesterday, van la parra should of come on for Henry, movin Edwards out wide was crazy. KJ promotion from Div3 won't paper over the glarin cracks in our squad and your inability to change things on the pitch much longer. Fans are fickle and your as good as your last game! 1 point out of 12 and conceding 8 goals in 2 games not good enough.

Just saw us on football league show, what is KJ on about when he said I thought we'd pick it up second half when were attackin our own fans??? WTF is the North Bank!

I'm not slating Jackett but I am starting to question him, he seems to only have a plan A and no plan B, Van la parra should be starting for us but Jackett seems to be another Mccarthy and plays his favourites.
Hope i'm wrong about him on that but Mcdonald, Batth should of been dropped a few matches ago yet they still somehow make the starting 11.
We won't get relegated but it is going to be a long season as Paul said we over achieved already this season, we are a mid table side and should look at this season as building and Jackett should learn to get a plan B in order too.

It tells you everything don't it when my uncles a Everton fan and he can see from 5 mins of highlights how we have dipped as team my uncle was spot on with what he said to me last night we're playing to open as team as from the start of the season we was playing tight and compact as team I'm not just starting question kj I'm starting to question our team because I don't think there actually as good as when we started the season if we don't get a CB, LB(cover for golbourne or to play) CDM, CAM, RM(cuz he don't fancy parra) and ST I can seriously see us struggling in the second half of the season we need improvents or even In loan window as shuts this week

Let's not knee jerk. There is some good quality brought in by KJ, but these youngsters are losing confidence after some poor reversals. We need a couple of leaders both in defence and midfield. something to gel the young talent we have, and lift them when life gets tough as it does at this level. Not a year for promotion, but a huge test for these guys. some will make it, others won't. Don't ruin the potential with absurd expectations. This team is still WIP.

I think we have to address certain key positions and also fact that we are sitting far too deep, encouraging sides to press us in our final third. Number one priority is a left sided CB, to play alongside who I couldn't say because Baath has right sided berth but doesn't look comfortable on the ball. Stearman and Ebanks Landell have had to play on their less natural side. Lack of pace in centre midfield is net biggest problem. Perhaps time to rest McDonald and go with Evans, who was unlucky not to start yesterday alongside Saville. and or Rowe. RVLP looked lively when he came on and should start next week. Also think we need Goldbourne in at LB, left footed players on left side of defence makes a huge difference. Number of goals we concede on left hen players have been drawn to their more natural right side is there for all to see. Graham started well but very quickly became isolated with us doing little to support. him.

We haven't played well for a few weeks now, or should I say we haven't defended well for a few weeks. Let's be honest we haven't exactly looked like scoring all season, the difference is that since we let in 3 at reading we can't stop conceding goals. I'd say ethan ebanks landell is our best defender atm and i'm not entirely sure that's a good thing. Doherty was torn apart yesterday by Antonio and I think he looks a real weak link, like most of our side- no pace, no confidence and no quality. Danny Batth looks the shadow of the player he was last season, maybe finding the step up difficult. Why Golbourne was dropped (prior to his injury) is beyond me. Richard Stearman is positionally clueless and ricketts just looks old. Defence is far more of a concern for me than attack. We need a RB, CB and back up LB in my opinion before we even consider looking at striking options. And a CDM, because McDonald needs dropping/ resting.

I for one thought Danny Graham was one of our better players yday, he put Edwards clean through twice and was generally a better focal point than Clarke. My god though, we miss Dicko- would like to see him and Graham playing alongside each other.

So yes we need to strengthen, I don't think anyone from the club is denying that. The only real positives from yday were the fact Ikeme is class (probably our best player full stop), and that we did create chances (albeit when we were 2-0 down). If we keep creating we'll score, but the only way we'll move forward is if we start grinding out a few 1-0 wins again like we did at the start of the season. We won't suddenly start winning 4-3 and 6-4 again. We have to stop conceding goals. At the start of the season we didn't create any more chances than we did yday, but we weren't letting them in either. The only way we change that is to bring in defenders- maybe Maguire on loan (I don't know what his availability is).

So, improvement needed? Absolutely. Relegation scrap? Sorry, not having that. yet.

Why was Dicko sent on international duty.
No show for 3 or 4 games then sent away with Mali,
In his post match interview Jackett was embarrassed and lost.his body language was awful.
Thought he was a breath of fresh air but and I so hope I'm wrong the job is to big for him.
I'm no fan of McCarthy but at this level he is a million miles more streetwise thn Jackett.
Sorry guys but I am the realist.

Here's a debate for ya.
If McCarthy was available tomorrow would you take him.

Realist I now you are upset so am I but I don't want to go backwards I want to go forwards and I have to agree these players have been not good enough on the performances of the last 4 games at least needs some serious money spending to get we back were this great club deserve but I don't think Morgan will spend and I'm afraid until we do we will bee going nowere.Wolfy

I said in one of my post I can take few positives as I think Kevin McDonald isn't a holding midfielder in my eyes when he plays alongside tommy Rowe it gives him a chance to go forward which is when I think he's at his best and I do think it showed a bit on Saturday also I thought when van la parra came on he gaves us a bit more going forward and he works well with dothery but he came on to late I thought danny graham held the ball up well and played some net knock offs to players but he has to have someone quick up there with him dave Edwards and attacking mid Jacobs should be there

im glad to read that Kenny is trying to get loan defender in by the deadline Thursday if I had to take one defender ain't played all season at villa and that's jose okore

the article is one the express and star

Has Okore not been playing? I thought he was in the Villa matchday squad at least.

We do need to strengthen the defence but I'm struggling to understand how a set of players that were so stringent have suddenly become as leaky as a tea strainer. On the outide it looks like the players back there may not be good enough, yes we could do with an experienced player to solidify at present, but I think it's a bit of mental coaching that needs to go on.

Ultimately I think we back off attackers lot. We have done for a few seasons, as though they're afraid to make a tackle and the result is we make it easy for the opposition to get the ball in our box and create chances against us. Unfortunately they then have players like Assombalonga who will hit the back of the net. If we can limit the number of chances the opposition create then we will do better.

No g man no we're near there team all season

Great site for debate for people who care about our great club.
Think the agree/disagree should be binned, let's just get the views of people who have an opinion.
I will respond if I have an opinion.
I will speak my mind radical moronic or level headed.
Why disagree to the blanently obvious, speak up.
I will chuck some random stuff on here to get a reaction.
I love my club as much as any poster on here, I've spent a lottery win on supporting my club.
I have been chosen to be a wolves fan, I don't want second best, I don't want to be envious of Brentford burnley hull qpr etc.
My passion holds no bounds, nobody can point the finger my love for my team as no boundaries.
Ill stand my corner.
4 games 1goal 1 point in division 2 is poor.
Our performances poor.
Team selection poor.
Best holding midfielder in the club jack price.
Best left back in the club Scott Golbourne.
I am the realist.
Do you believe kj knows his best team.
Even his best back four.
His best midfield
His best formation???
Not a scooby chaps.
Girlfriend in a coma I know I know its serious.

{Ed001's Note - we have tried binning the buttons on sites before, a lot of people just don't have the time or inclination to explain themselves, but want to express their feelings, so they ended up returning. Personally I don't like them, but it is the wishes of the majority of the users, so they have stayed.}

Ed I speak with a passion for my club for sum one to disagree is fine, but not to put up an argument, a debate is pointless.
We have had our disagreements, you once called me childish haha but hope my posts feed the fire to keep this site at the forefront of our mighty wolves.

{Ed001's Note - I am with you on that. I think it is pointless, most of the editors dislike the buttons as well. Sometimes you have to accept the wishes of the majority though. I now just ignore them to be honest. I prefer the conversation, even if I disagree with someone, I like the discussion and to hear other people's viewpoint. Sometimes you can find that someone makes a point that completely opens your mind to a new way of thinking, that can't happen if they just press a button.}

Each to their own I guess, just want the best for wwfc as do all posters and if we all agreed would be a dead site. but think you should point out ed . I am always right haha

{Ed001's Note - maybe we should make a special profile badge for your profile? It could just be the 'Always Right' badge, awarded to someone who is always right. Though I would have to say only my missus is always right. Even when she is wrong, she is right. Apparently.}

Women are always right we should have made rachel Hiho silver lining flint manager years ago.

{Ed001's Note - she would have been an improvement on Dean Saunders at least!!}

Ha tried to get ludo pollet in as his co-manager but even Morgan could see through French and Saunders.

{Ed001's Note - *groan* this joke is so bad it could get in on the Arsenal site! During the international breaks they have 'joke' telling competitions this season. This was the kind of level of the better jokes on there! I never knew there were so many bad jokes that hadn't already been told by Ed025 in the world.}

I know ed but Deano is much prettier.

{Ed001's Note - good point. He certainly does look a lot more feminine with those luscious locks of his....}

I've kept quiet for a few days on what happened the weekend just for the reason I don't make any judgement too soon. This is basically my opinion so far this season. Before the season started I said if we finish between 12th and 6th I'd be more than happy if we keep the basics of the squad I.E Batth Price Evans (The younger ones), I didn't think we needed a CM, but instead we brought 2. I understood our squad was thin but didn't want KJ to buy 5-6 players right away and disrupt what we had. We started way better than I expected and I feel its brought a little bit of false expectation. Fans expecting to be in the top 3. i'm still of the influence that if we finish between 12th and 6th i'll be happy. We aren't the finished article yet. Far from it. But if KJ honestly believes we can challenge for promotion then so be it, but Morgan and Moxey also need to believe this and inject some cash because for this to happen we need 1 CB 1 Winger 1 Striker (Danny Graham now), and possibly a CM as Saville and Rowe havnt lived up to expectation. but I think Price may be the player we've been missing simple player holds onto the ball well and has a very good football brain. isn't going to set the world on fire and take on 3 players and smash the ball home but will keep it simple dictate play and keep us in possession. The only thing I don't want is a repeat of the final whistle at Nott'm Forest game. Boos. I hate Boos. Yes we are on a bad patch at the moment but our players are young, Booing will not help them, they need encouragement. I really believe we have a great bunch of young players that will grow with the club and if we carry on slating them their confidence will be shot. So i'm pleading to the fans now let's support the players rather than get on their backs!, we've played Derby and Nott'm last 2 games. IMO the best 2 in the league and they'll finish top 2, let's not panic.

25 Nov 2014 12:08:21
Agreed, Stuu. I am concerned we will try and rush into a promotion charge with expensive loan signings (Graham is on 40k/wk) and we'll not have the experienced young players we'll need to sustain the team. I know we all want the team to do better each year but we're already better than the last 2 years, in fact probably the last 3 or even 4 years. Yet a couple of key injuries and we're showing our inexperience. Yes, play Price rather than signing yet another midfielder.

Teams are more tactical at the top of the Championship than we are used to. They target certain players - lobbing balls over Docherty, wearing down Batth and crowding out McDonald. They are not bad players, it's just that they are up against teams who set out to make them look average. I am sure we're doing the same to other teams so of course there will be games when they get the better of us. I agree Derby and Forest are likely to be the hardest to beat. Just got to make sure we get points against the likes of Brentford and Bournemouth who are doing well - like us - too.

The team i'd play the weekend all being well with fitness (excl Dicko)

Ikeme
Ricketts Batth Hause Golbourne
Evans Price
VLP Henry Sako
Graham

Have either of the 3 attacking midfielders to change and not have set positions for them.

Just want our fans to be patient, allow our younger players to develop rather than bomb them out because I really believe players like Evans Batth McDonald (because he still is quite young) will be very good Premier League players in the future.

You will be waiting forever then if you think this team will get in prem, needs investment and Morgan as let we down again or k.j. not spending is money if that's the case then I worry about k.j. selection's
