Leigh Griffiths to stay at Wolves until at least January. It is believed that if Wolves are not in the top six at that stage, they will look to cash in.

As for the manager, the second round of talks will begin on Friday

Davis has had a second interview and looks favourite to land job. A family member has mentioned the second interview on twitter.

I touted Davis early, he's done wonders with academy players at Crewe. Not sure about that going forward, I'm still hoping McClaren personally

Jay

Davis would be my choice, but I thought he wasn't prepared to be part of an interview process.

Davis has not had the experience to run a club like ours. Are we interviewing with cost in mind? Coyle is the man!

Dario Gradi is the DOF at crewe, let's hopw he comes as part of the package as I think you have to give Gradi the credit for the youth set up at crewe over the years.

Mills Wolf

I'd love that to happen. It really could work out.

It's also not going to!

Gave you the heads up on davis early doors, at 33/1 to be precise thewell championed his course from day one.

Dario Gradi states that there has been no contact from Wolves regarding S Davis so obviously he has not been interviewed

Rumour has it that dario gradi would turn to dust if he left crewe.

If you want young and hungry prepared to give youth a chance and attractive football, davis is 100 per cent our best option.

Yeh but can we and wil we get him?!

Dario Gradi has been at Crewe since the Jurassic period. Can't see any reason why he'd come to Wolves, unless he's more motivated by money than I thought.

Who is this person on twitter then?

SteveBullStand - Rumour, there are only five contenders for the job, Owen Coyle, Steve Mclaren, Steve Davis, Kenny Jacket and Uwe Rowler.

Hopefully tony pullis is added to that list

Wow I didn't know this please tell more. Zzzzzz

Tony Pulis in pole position now

I would be surprised (even if I don't want him) if Warnock wasn't in there too.

Rosler could be a good shout

Davis would be the man for me. Crewe play good, attacking football and a good youth system. Not to mention he's a wolves fan.

Is it just me or are McClaren, Coyle, Warnock etc just has beens on the managerial merry go round?

Tony Pulis? Do me a favour. Wolves have been saying all along that they want to return to attractive football. Pullis and attractive football don't exist in this world or the next!

We all like attractive football, I know, but it's secondary as far as Wolves are concerned at the moment to winning matches and getting back to the Championship asap. Pulis is capable of doing this whereas some of the candidates mentioned certainly aren't.

Redbird

Yeh redbird but then what sack him and go through this all again loads of teams Swansea Brighton Norwich all came up playing attractive football we need to find someone win games come up and push on pulis is not a good move or fit for the club

I take your point.

Phil Parkinson has been interviewed by Thelwell and is his recommendation to Moxey - you heard it from me first just remember

We would indeed remember your prophetic words if we knew who you were to start with lol

That's funny he's signing a new deal at Bradford tomorrow.

Pulis please

No don't worry. cheapest option, least qualified, worst choice. Steve Davis!. Yours Miserley Jez Moxey (good to be back!)

Davis best fit for us. Jackett would do a sound job but the rest will just want to supplement their pensions and recreate the bad habits that got them sacked last time.

Parkinson's just signed new 3 year contract - tv
