All sounds good with this guy diogo but i still think we need an out and out stiker and i myself would definitely go for afobe or take a pop at gayle proven at this level.

22 Jul 2017 01:42:00
No think about it! We need at least two quality, tried and tested at this level or above. βš½οΈπŸ‘πŸ˜‰.

22 Jul 2017 11:02:56
According to Tim Nash twitter Jota will play some part in todays game and one more signing to come Nuno looking at several strikers. Happy days.

22 Jul 2017 12:39:33
At least one striker arriving soon, that seems to be a certainty now, but don't be surprised if we sign two. I think Bright will go out on season long loan and we will have two strikers brought in. Just my prediction but that's what I honestly think will happen.

22 Jul 2017 13:08:22
Yep I think we bring in 2 strikers we also looking at Erdin demir Swedish international left back not a mendes man Tim Nash tweeted that jota will play some part in today's friendly but when r fosun going to announce his signing.

22 Jul 2017 21:57:07
Lets not be negative Wolves fans and get behind team I know it looks bad losing to shrewsbury, but at least its not a league fixture, its going to take time now to gel them together and we all now we need striker or strikers, when Neno as sorted the front line out we will be okay.

24 Jul 2017 15:01:09
That's twice now I've NUNO spelt incorrectly. Nino and now Neno.

21 Jul 2017 21:14:38
Just read on Twitter that Wolves are considering a Β£20m bid for Daniel Podence. Winger from Sporting CP.

21 Jul 2017 21:53:03
Another winger?
Why?

22 Jul 2017 08:57:28
Podence can play up front as well.

21 Jul 2017 20:53:37

21 Jul 2017 21:49:35
carl ikeme is super amazing and is the biggest wow of them all with his cryuff turns in the box be strong big man #teamkemes we are all behind you.

22 Jul 2017 10:56:31
I think you've gone over the top a bit with the editor hero worship thing.
He's a closet Liverpool fan.

22 Jul 2017 11:26:35
He (or she to be politically correct) came out long long ago and if the contributors don't see that they are blinded by our riches. But fair play to Ed he stands up for his team and we do the same. I just can't wait to be playing 'the pool' twice a year and not just knocking them out the FA Cup :)

22 Jul 2017 13:02:57
Fair play to the Ed, "he" stands up for "his" team.

I rest my case.

I took my dog to the vets today, he had a look at him and said, " I'm sorrybut I'm going to have to put him down.
Bloody hell I said, is it that serious.

No he said, he's feckin heavy.

22 Jul 2017 20:56:43
Footnote to the Ed.

I am having a laugh, fair play to the Ed and other genuine fans all over the World.

{Ed033's Note - There is more than 1 ed you know.

22 Jul 2017 21:45:05
I do now, do you support Wolves? 😜.

{Ed033's Note - no, but isn't Ed047 a Wolves supporter?

21 Jul 2017 19:36:44
TIM NASH SCOOP AGAIN, JOTO MAKING DEBUT TOMOZ, 2MINS AGO.

21 Jul 2017 19:58:35
Great news now Big Jeff a top quality striker or 2 and the Premiereship Fosun and all Wolves fans around the world crave will be ours, if we get to the prem we could fill easy 40-50,000 in an extended Molineuax.
GodBless Wolves GodBless FosunπŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ™.

21 Jul 2017 20:00:04
This is our time embrace it
It maybe tommorow it maybe Monday
But your damp pants could be a little more than damp.

21 Jul 2017 20:06:29
Following Tim Nash on twitter from now on!

21 Jul 2017 20:09:17
Tim Nash is far more ITK than Spiers! Spiers goes to Austria on the tour and doesn't get one interview with Nuno! His cushy tea and biscuits chats with Lambert and Jackett r over! That's why he hates the foreign regime. The Futures Bright The Futures FOSUN! πŸ‘.

21 Jul 2017 20:40:04
Agreed davetcb we get to prem need a bigger ground 50,000 easily I think the top 6 in the prem r packing there pants already to get to the prem we have got to earn it and keep our feet firmly on the ground there's a lot of hard work ahead championship is a long season.

21 Jul 2017 20:50:57
I was picking tickets up for Leicester n said to my brother earlier. we could easily get 45 thou Plus at a extended Molineux πŸ‘. why can't we be as big as Liverpool, man u, real Madrid? Molineux is our Church. FWAW πŸ‘Œ.

{Ed047's Note - Wolves are a big club but will never be on the scale of Liverpool, Utd or Real Madrid buddy.}

21 Jul 2017 21:14:18
Maybe not now Ed, but the Futures Bright The Futures Fosun! So don't get pissin on our parade Ed! πŸ‘.

{Ed047's Note - haha okay you can be the biggest in the midlands.}

21 Jul 2017 21:17:09
Ed, we were in the Fifties!
I was there!

{Ed047's Note - times change.}

21 Jul 2017 21:24:15
Never say never ed
Never say never".

{Ed047's Note - lol okay.}

21 Jul 2017 21:38:44
61315 attendence 11th feb 1939 why can't we be as big as Liverpool or Real Madrid granted it's going to take a lot of catching up but you have to believe! We certainly ain't no Walsall where the rumours column says every day nothing to report!

{Ed047's Note - Wolves are no doubt a big club and with the right players than hopefully they will make it to the epl once there they need to become a stable team and than expand the stadium get better commercial/sponsorship deals which will help grow the clubs brand and make them bigger.}

21 Jul 2017 21:44:09
That's right we were in the fifties wol and man Utd were biggest Liverpool man city Chelsea were nowhere near the top with our fan base our palace fosun running the club we can b as big those again can't wait for those glory days coming back to the mol.

21 Jul 2017 22:54:20
One reason we will never be as big as Liverpool or Real Madrid is, Wolverhampton isn't the most attractive area. Clubs like Liverpool Munich PSG Chelsea Man United will always attract players because of the city's. Tourism is big in these places, could you imagine someone saying "I'm so excited I've booked a weekend away to Wolverhampton"

{Ed047's Note - Haha quality that, Wolverhampton needs a major overhaul as there's more shops closed than open, you've got far to may care homes, fast food shops and than on top of that there's no where to go out and have a good time as the towns dead and the majority of the pubs are closed.}

22 Jul 2017 00:05:16
Since when are the majority of pubs closed? All the ones I go in are open. You just have to visit at the right time!

22 Jul 2017 00:06:46
wolves are a big club, have a look at who holds the ground record at old Trafford.

22 Jul 2017 00:38:03
Grimsby!

22 Jul 2017 01:06:34
I don't agree Ed. Liverpool isn't the most wonderful city in the world so your analysis would indicate the top players would always prefer to go to London clubs. I agree Wolverhampton doesn't inspire yet the demographics of the local area supports a fan base that could achieve regular top 10 finishes (as Baggies have done) . What we could do through NES is start a revolution where the playing style captures the imagination. This will attract top players as well as fans.

{Ed001's Note - the top players do prefer to go to London, that is why Alexis Sanchez turned down Liverpool to join Arsenal. Coutinho only joined Liverpool after being convinced by his close friend Lucas Leiva, initially he was only considering an England move if it was a London team. Foreign players will take London if they get the chance over other cities. No idea why. London is nothing special, I would choose Liverpool over it every single day of the week and twice on weekends. But I am not a mega rich footballer who just wants to be where the parties are.....}

22 Jul 2017 07:26:29
Haha this is why no big players come here to Norwich, apart from tomb land eh John Ruddy ;)

22 Jul 2017 07:38:40
They say Beckham only wanted to play in top cities after ManU so he did LA, Madrid, Paris, Milan might have been his Mrs though

Wolves will not be in that set they just won't Everton been trying for years we will never have the money to pay players at that level not if Fosun wants to make a profit.

22 Jul 2017 12:49:57
Feet firmly on the ground. Too many false starts so until we play a few competitive games we haven't got a clue. I'm looking forward to this season the same as when Solbakken was here and look where that ended. Off to Shrews for first glimpse. C'mon me babbies WAW.

21 Jul 2017 13:54:02
The word from Newcastle is that Dwight Gayle may be coming.

21 Jul 2017 14:27:25
Yeh I saw that on Twitter, I'd be happy with that far better than Dicko.

21 Jul 2017 14:40:37
Hope all these signings aren't going to effect the high levels of entertainment tjat I've become used to😳😳😳😳.

21 Jul 2017 14:43:12
Surely that's got to be a wind up! But wouldn't put anything past fosun making this happen, would be another very very big statement of intent.

21 Jul 2017 14:43:40
So our starting side against Middlesbrough
GK John Ruddy
CB Boly
CB Coady
CB Miranda
CDM Neves
CM Price
CM?
LW Graham
ST Jota/ Gayle
RW Zyro.

21 Jul 2017 14:48:32
You are that confident that we will only be starting with 10 players? Nuno will play wing backs so doherty and douglas will be in there.

21 Jul 2017 14:58:52
Price in starting line up LOL.

21 Jul 2017 15:08:24
What about Ben Marshall Phil Ayeh barry Douglas price will I expect go out on loan.

21 Jul 2017 15:32:21
It's the moment (which will change lol) my starting 11 is . Ruddy.

Miranda coady. Boly

Doherty. Neves. Saiss. Douglas

Jota . Dicko. Marshall.

21 Jul 2017 15:32:29
Ruddy
Miranda coady boly
Doc neves dog
Jota
Costa graham/ cav
Dicko

Strong team that
As we stand that is.

21 Jul 2017 15:35:26
This Gayle rumour has got to be a wind up'right?

21 Jul 2017 15:45:48
I'd rather have gayle than assombalonga it's good that we didn't get him if gayle is available just imagine what damage he can do with quality players around him.

21 Jul 2017 16:10:05
Apparantley its s fake account.

21 Jul 2017 16:14:02
Gayle to Wolves? Wind-up or real? Our fortunes have changed so much since Fosun took over that it's not impossible. Maybe his chances in the PL will be limited? He's been there, done it in our division, so why not?

21 Jul 2017 17:47:08
Strikers needed at wolves! Only apply if you can demonstrate a track record of scoring 18 goals plus a season, for the last two three years in the championship or premier league. Pays not bad! Few grand a week - negotiable! βš½οΈπŸ‘πŸ˜‰.

21 Jul 2017 18:00:53
Gayle? No thanks. Never cut in the PL and though he scored in the Championship last season on his day Dicko is every bit as good. Now if it were Andre Gray or even Calum Wilson I might get excited even though neither are a 'big target man' that I feel the squad needs.

Onto Boro at home. Here's my ELEVEN man line-up plus 7 subs as things stand right now;

Ruddy
Miranda Coady Boly
Doherty Saiss Neves Douglas
Ronan Dicko Graham

Subs: Norris, Bennett, Hause, Ofusu-Ayeh, Edwards, Marshall, Enobakhare.

21 Jul 2017 18:14:15
Middlesborough line up:
Ruddy
Hause Miranda boly
Marshall neves price Doug
Jota dicko/ new signing cav
Wouldn't be surprised to see:
Bath, Doherty, mason leave
Possibly new am, strikers and cm.

21 Jul 2017 18:24:57
Eveyone who's pick Caveleiro isn't he suspended?

21 Jul 2017 21:10:50
In two games on seeing price as he does with no body on him passing left to right. but once got over the half way line.

21 Jul 2017 21:16:34
Also isn't Marshall injured?

22 Jul 2017 07:41:07
Price isn't meant to run forward he was playing CDM practically a sweeper and if Nuno wants that style he's the best we have.

22 Jul 2017 10:33:54
Ruddy

Boly Coady Bathh

Doherty Ronan Neves Douglas

Will line up against Boro injury permitting.

Bathh and Doherty first team starts will short lived beyond first month or so.

Front 3 will feature 2 newbees still not on our books with Dicko for opening fixture.

Prince, Evans and Mason to leave, with a number of the young lads loaned out either till Xmas or after till end of season. The one surprise I think will be Saiss being moved on either this window or next.

21 Jul 2017 13:22:37
Heard that we are looking to Lisbon to have a 2 year loan for Ryan Gauld. Scottish teenage lad who needs game time, seems like a good shout for me.

21 Jul 2017 15:34:18
Scottish teenager good enough?
Nay chance!

21 Jul 2017 17:37:45
Ryan Gauld is a huge talent in the mould of a Gazza type. If he comes I'll be over the moon, with all the other signings of late.

21 Jul 2017 21:15:27
He's actually a really good player and went to Lisbon really young. Adds depth.

21 Jul 2017 13:03:00
Diego Rolan next big signing.

21 Jul 2017 13:13:40
I hope so! Quality player.

21 Jul 2017 14:36:49
So if the last two rumours come to fruition, we'll have a Ruben, Rolan, Ronan and Ryan. We'll also have a Nuno and a Neves, two Ruddys, and a Big Willy and a not so big Dicko. i'm getting confused .

21 Jul 2017 14:46:17
Oh, and a Connor and a Conor. I think I need a lie down.

21 Jul 2017 16:35:58
And a Dave πŸ˜‚.

21 Jul 2017 17:13:58
And a rodney (miranda) all we need is someone up front to pull the trigger then we can leave the fools and horses behind in the championship. LA LA LA LA LA!

21 Jul 2017 17:33:35
Has Fulham definitely not buying Diego ronon know deal was in difficulty but not heard anything since.

21 Jul 2017 08:24:26
Nuno looking to get rid of Oniangue and Evans. Like what he's doing. He's ruthless and stamping his mark. Love it.

21 Jul 2017 10:39:38
Sounds like the player we exactly need an attacking midfielder bound to b a loan Nuno really clearing out the dead wood loving it.

21 Jul 2017 11:17:08
Like I said yesterday 1 loan and 1 other signing to be made immediately. Keep the faith our club a year on is back on the map. Coyw.

21 Jul 2017 11:19:49
Birmingham Mail reporting Diogo jota having medical today signing a season long loan the deal is imminent.

21 Jul 2017 11:27:18
Tim Nash tweeted that he flew in last night he's a helda Costa and cavaleiro rolled into one what a fabulous signing Watched him on tube pace skill and flair we've been crying out for a player like that for years.

21 Jul 2017 11:34:03
Tim Nash posted the Diogo Jota news.
Another piece in the jigsaw. someone to sit alongside Neves and create chances and score a few himself! A big missing.
Now a couple of Strikers please!

21 Jul 2017 11:57:44
He can play on either wing or as a secondary striker.

21 Jul 2017 12:27:23
Rugeley wolf.

Can you imagine, Conor Ronan playing just in front of Neves and Jota feeding Dicko and all of them scoring for fun themselves.

I'm so excited I may buy a round tonight.

COMB's.

21 Jul 2017 12:40:37
Well done wol4life you've got 1 on loan u just need the signing now.

21 Jul 2017 13:05:04
StuWolf. you are right. looking good!

21 Jul 2017 17:44:06
StuWolf, where's your local? I'm in for a double-measure Portuguese brandy with a Port chaser. Cheers.

21 Jul 2017 21:02:37
I'm Scottish but not a drinker, my local is the Pendulum on The Morrisons car park Pendeford.
If it's Port you like, I have a 20 year old Port from (Porto) from my time teaching there.
If it's Portuguese beer it's "Superbock"

21 Jul 2017 22:10:48
FairPlay stu I was born in pendeford raised in fordhouses and now live in fallings park, not wednesfield πŸ˜‚.

21 Jul 2017 08:17:07
Diogo Jota attacking midfielder from Athletico Madrid on loan to Porto last season is at Compton πŸ˜‰.

21 Jul 2017 08:23:45
Can he play up front? lol.

21 Jul 2017 08:27:02
Is he any good.

21 Jul 2017 09:13:52
Only 20 years of age, but 8 goals in 27 games for a midfielder is pretty good. Personally, I believe we will need an experienced guy in this role - tough Championship and all.

21 Jul 2017 09:24:32
Proffered leftside but anywhere across midfield and as second strker.

21 Jul 2017 09:28:25
this guy is unreal if true then its a huge signing, real sign of intent.

21 Jul 2017 09:31:32
His utube clips showing him to be lively, quick, left footed but and a big but missing several goals!

21 Jul 2017 10:11:26
Jota is incredible striker or attacking midfielder will cost us a few bob though.

21 Jul 2017 10:12:39
I think the wink at the end of the statement says it all.

21 Jul 2017 10:13:20
just watched this guy on youtube looks really good, got good skill and very quik on the ball and knows where the net is back of the goal.

21 Jul 2017 10:13:59
Jota from Brentford more like.

21 Jul 2017 10:22:38
Batth can go as well.

21 Jul 2017 10:25:58
Looks an interesting option. Clearly a Nuno type attacking player mobile and good passer. Would fit in a front three or alongside Never.

21 Jul 2017 10:40:06
Beware the Youtube clips.

21 Jul 2017 10:48:46
yes mate tim nash has put it on his twitter account should be all tied up sometime today.

21 Jul 2017 11:58:42
If we're in contact with Athletico might as well try for Vietto as well on loan.
