Wolves manager Mick McCarthy is set to be sacked next week after over five years in charge of the club. The reasoning behind this decision I have been told is related to a long period of consistently bad results, including going without a win in eight games taking just 4 points out of a possible 24 seeing them fall into the relegation zone of the Premier League. Another factor in the decision is the growing frustrations with McCarthy's stubborn attitude to transfer dealings in the Premier League which has meant the club have missed out on many key deals whereby he is reluctant to meet reasonable demonds set by opposing clubs because he has felt the club needs to keep a wage cap in order to prevent disputes between players and the club.

Morgan has decided this to be appropriate time in the season to save the club from a potential downfall whereby the club could be in the Championship and not be filling the new Molineux stand to it's capacity which has pressured Morgan into making this decision despite feeling that stability is an absolute number one priority which he uses as a basis for his success as a businessman but told me and other representatives of the club at a recent meeting that change is necessary for both the club's survival and expansion.

Morgan, Moxey and the Board of Directors are set to decide in a meeting next Wednesday who will replace McCarthy at the helm of the club and no names have been currently mentioned from what I've heard from within the club. I can definitely confirm though it isn't Rafael Benitez as has been suggested here rather amusingly.

This is a leigitimate post, and I am a representative from within the club I can confirm and hold a role in the higher management of the club when I was appointed by current chairman Steve Morgan after formely being a director for the Redrow plc company however I cannot disclose my name as it would definitely cost me my job as I am sure you can all reasonably understand. I'll be reporting back to you now on a regular basis regarding transfer news as I am involved in the transfers side of the business and feel it absolutely necessary for fans to have an insight into the ongoings of the club during this exciting transitional period for the club.

'FWF'.

OK let's think about this. I sincerely hope that you are genuine and that McCarthy will finally be replaced next week. However from your own description it would be very easy for SM to find out who posted this message IF you are an ex-director of Redrow AND you're now in a senior position at Wolves. That really narrows down the potential suspects, right? Therefore either he has sanctioned a certain amount of info to reach the Wolves public via "leaks" such as this (in which case you are legitimate AND you won't get fired) OR you're just another wannabe who is making BS up for whatever personal reason turns you on. We shall see by the end of next week which description fits you. Again I HOPE you're for real.

Whatever they do..its too late!! we are down,we cant win,our rivals are now picking up wins, the gap is growing

If this were true, you've earned yourself the sack through the sheer number of hints you wrote into that. Kudos for the effort though.

Blimey. That's the most detailed rumour I have ever seen on this site. I'm not doubting you but like you say next week will tell. I have supported MM for a long time but even I think a change is needed. I'm llokinmg forward to the news next week to see what happens. Any chance you could say who the potential managers are? RB was always unlikely. He is too big a manager for us.

Sacked next week, he should have been sacked right after the game. Hope that you are genuine.

A load of horse manure

Doesn't narrow it down, he appointed plenty of his associates from redrow to be
involved with his long-term project at Wolves, I still work at redrow.

Another wannabe i`d say

Waste of ink.

If we sacked mick I wouldn't care who we bring in as we need new ideas into this team. So I hope sacking mick is true.-------GravePicker

Total crap! If you were high up eithin the Club your the one who'd be sacked for this indiscretion! I sincerely hope McCarthy is sent on his way this week with a pat on the back and a big thank you. He can't take this team any further and will destroy any reputation he's got if he doesn't go now. With him in charge weare going down.

You may well be right that he'll be sacked this week. However this post is in no way genuine. There is no detail that would indicate you know anything about the club other than reading stuff in the E&S. Also, to get a senior job anywhere - let alone being a director - you need to know that full stops exist. Load of rubbish!

I do know people in Wolves. So prove to me why you know so much. Who is chief scout? Cos he has control over signings etc. Now you could simply look this up so tell me a little about him.

Rumour on twitter is that Rafa Benitez was at the game today

Benitez is good friends with Morgan, rumour is morgan is offering benitez the managers position for the rest of the season when mcarthy is sacked 2moro

8 games without a win is digusting and he does need to be sacked

I pray u r rite how much more it breaks my heart the team like this

One can but hope

2 wins in twenty games. 10% win rate. simply unacceptable

I think you'll find it's 10 games without a win!!

It's alright, panic over. The Mirror have linked us with someone to save the season. Who says Big Mick only plays his favourites? He's scoured Europe and not left a stone unturned in a bid to strengthen the defence. Unearthed an under 21 international in Germany who has been called up to the full squad. Can cover central defence, full back or defensive midfield. Sound good? Think again - it's Michael Mancienne! For a 4th time.
Sorry about the sarcasm but think we need a bit more than that to be honest. Anyway, get behind the team tomorrow and lets SOTV.
SBPhil.

I read about that last night im in 2 minds bout it tbh, in championship he was awesome but lacked perforance in prem MAYBE - Just MAYBE his time in germany have made him better adapt for the prem
DP

Do we even have a scouting system anymore?oh yeah there all in Scotland and ireland watching mickey mouse football

Please don't be disrespectful to Mickey Mouse; after all, he wears a Mick McCarthy watch.

Mad micks saying now no players in the pipeline

You would also know how to spell "legitimate" if indeed you were legitimate!!
