Ding Lei is within weeks of taking ownership of the club. Negotiations are nearing completion and period of due diligence is about to be entered.

20 Jun 2016 12:16:45
Where did you hear this? Is it 100% accurate?

20 Jun 2016 12:21:26
hope you're right mate.

20 Jun 2016 12:58:16
Sorry Tom Tit but didn't you say in March that it was an American buyer and to complete in 10-14 days?

20 Jun 2016 13:08:40
how come there is nothing in the papers or on sky sports don't think anything will happen for a long time hope i'm wrong.

20 Jun 2016 13:30:45
Well done tom tit, does this prediction have anything to do with tommo1970s rumour below?

20 Jun 2016 13:50:20
To TomTit were did you get your news from can you explain are you 100 % Ding Lei is taking over club.

20 Jun 2016 14:32:33
If Tommo1970's rumour is true, Ding Lei is already doing due diligence. I'm sure that "Rita from accounts" wasn't meeting Mr Ding Lei in a London hotel for hanky panky.

20 Jun 2016 14:41:58
Tom tit has jumped on tommo's bandwagon, really can't see anything in this ding lei rumour.
It's going to be a long time til this club is in the hands of someone who is willing to invest enough money for the 1st team to push for promotion.
Expect mid table again this coming season, if we get lucky.

20 Jun 2016 16:12:50
jimmyjones,
That's the trouble with a lot of these rather confident sounding tips. I've read endless stories about Wolves buyers and sometimes the tipster then says, Morgan moved the goal posts, end of. That's the get-out clause. Bit like those end-of-the-world predictions. They coma and go, and then the get-out clause is, we just got the date wrong!

20 Jun 2016 16:17:54
if Ding Lei is taking over the club its only down to the clubs history and the wolves fans who have pure passion for the club. Its a big selling point. if he has watched the games it won't be the football play that has made his mind up to buy us. hopefully he will invest the money and have his own ideas where he wants the club along with the fans. they might only be a few players he will keep. manager will stay but not for long. in with the new out with the old but we all know that moxey will be staying out with the rest.

20 Jun 2016 16:41:19
Guys can't comment on toms runout what I can say is that there has been an offer on the table for a long time from near enough the get go. I can't confirm the name of the individual other than its from from the Far East and the person/ people behind the bid have the kind of resources we have never seen at the wolves before. It is very very close to being finalised. If you check all of my posts you will see they are consistent and the only reason they have not been concluded by now was 1 minor change of the deal put in by SM I know believe that that hurdle has been cleared.

If my source is correct then the deal deal should be done mid way through July if not slightly earlier.

20 Jun 2016 16:45:37
Sorry to burst your bubble but as nice as it is to believe rumours its not going to happen. my source tells me that there has been interest but nothing concrete. we are in exactly the same position as when Morgan pit the club up for sale. sorry to disapoint.

20 Jun 2016 17:01:18
Confidentiality agreements Are agreed at the start of negotiations tom TIT.

20 Jun 2016 17:10:13
TomTit you need to verify your rumour in some way otherwise frankly its worthless.

20 Jun 2016 17:15:19
Here we go again. Someone says, "my source" is predicting a takeover in just a few weeks. Another fan says "my source" says nothing concrete happening, no movement for months now.

Maybe we could have a buyer's league table? Ding Lei in top two now? Hang on, Money Shop owner in third place. Moxey consortium in top six. Morgan staying, so he's in number one spot at the moment. What about Robbie Keane consortium, maybe fifth? Remember James Stunt last autumn, he's in relegation zone now. Bob Laslett/ Chaucer in seventh place.

20 Jun 2016 17:23:11
Can I just give my opinion on this? I am a psychic and have been receiving some very strong feelings over the last two years about Wolves just prior to Morgan stepping down - I am pretty sure now that it was about a change of ownership and this Ding Lei chap. I'm not going to put my head on the block and say it definitely is him but I know for a fact that someone will come in and pump a lot of money into the club. Unfortunately, I have also seen a change of stadium/ location, nearer the M6 but I'm sure Wolves fans would rather not know that part! Whatever happens, I can guarantee that the future of Wolves looks extremely bright and there is some amazing news which will uplift you all just around the corner.! Enter the dragon!

20 Jun 2016 17:33:26
. and you'll love the new stadium!

20 Jun 2016 17:37:34
Thank you Mystic Meg - liking your work!

20 Jun 2016 18:01:46
Was that a crystal ball or a football? Is Ding Lei a tall dark stranger or a yellow one?

Let's hear from Mystic Mog, felixthecat.

20 Jun 2016 18:04:45
Someone has actually been influencing transfers, including the Afobe one and whoever it is has been in contact with the club for longer than you would realise. I really wouldn't worry about selling players because this guy has got serious money to burn - even if they do sell Iorfa/ Hause/ McDonald, etc, it will be only because of him telling them to! I also wouldn't be surprised about the takeover being kept away from Jez - he is only a spokesperson, remember.

20 Jun 2016 18:06:44
I apologise if the information I gave proves incorrect but my Guardians are rarely wrong.
Dave.

20 Jun 2016 18:15:54
@deep throat like your buyers league table my guess it will be from the usa and not Robbie keane.

20 Jun 2016 18:47:59
I have a prediction. The club will be sold. I'm not saying when. I can't name my source. As soon as the club is sold (Morgan will have to sell at some point before he dies) I will jump in and say, "I told you so". I reckon we could be looking at 1st April, not sure which year as my source doesn't wish to say yet. I have to protect my source. BTW, it's not Rita from accounts.

20 Jun 2016 19:00:55
Oh dear, now we have a soothsayer foretelling the future of the club. sigh.

20 Jun 2016 20:00:47
Bunkhum. Rumours soothsayers rita security and unknown sources. My dilemma is in or out? That is in prem or out chamionship in 2017. We've had as much bs as the other in/ out waffle and spin. And, we're as as about as clear regarding our future.

20 Jun 2016 20:41:53
Someone has been influencing signings. yes u r right, his name is thelwell via moxey.

20 Jun 2016 23:28:43
So far we've confirmed via this forum that Bob Laslett, the Money Shop, Robbie Keane consortium, Paul Allen (Microsoft) and now Ding Lei are definitely buying the club and close to making a big announcement. I'd much rather not speculate and just wait for the official announcement.

21 Jun 2016 00:28:18
Deep Throat, I can tell you what I put is 100% spot on, we are nowhere near a sale, there is no offer on the table, the club is in exactly the same position as when Morgan first put the club up for sale.
Some fans will hang onto any old rumour and will believe it if they tell themselves enough.

21 Jun 2016 06:46:39
Its a rumour site. I hear rumours. This Ding Lei rumour has come from a football agent (a friend of mine) that obviously knows many people in the game. For gods sake i'm only passing on what I hear. Why are people getting abusive.

21 Jun 2016 09:34:12
felix/ tom it

You just have to read the postings on this site. They vary from 100% positive that no deal exists to 100% positive that we are almost there, with many different buyers allegedly about to sign. Not only that, we hear that supernatural forces have intervened in transfers for months. Nobody's being abusive, they're just being incredulous.

21 Jun 2016 10:46:47
Tomtit - Deepthroat is spot on don't take it personally we all know Wolves fans are some of the most perdantic supporters on the planet. If they get offended by rumours then why go onto what is fundimentaly a rumour site.

21 Jun 2016 10:53:08
Being drip fed BS for all the Poxey years tends to leave you a little septic. (Not a typo)
On Friday I'm voting OUT
On the sale, I'm voting SOLD.
TomTit, Dealing with people who just want to argue is like playing chess with a pigeon, even if you win, they still Shit on the board and them strut around with their chest out.
Don't take it to heart TomTit, after all whatever the call, youv'e got a 50/ 50 chance of being right.

Simple peeps.

21 Jun 2016 11:13:05
If your going to vote Stu I would do it on Thursday or you will miss it by a day.

21 Jun 2016 11:26:26
No mate I'm voting Friday, fed up of them telling what to do.
Thanks Spanish, that could have been embarrassing.

21 Jun 2016 16:09:30
Regarding the euro in/ out would the result have effect on takeover? For example signing foreign players investments etc. Maybe deal is in offing and waiting to see implications of result before final commital? ' Might explain mid july suggestions.

21 Jun 2016 17:50:49
What ever happens in the referendum nothing will not come into play over night. The estimated dates for any changes will be approx 5 to 10 years so I would not imagine this would put off any sale.

21 Jun 2016 19:06:16
I was thinking currency values. The financial markets will have an immediate effect.

21 Jun 2016 19:07:34
Spanish wolf. Agreed. If anything the EU referendum will be a wake-up call to prospective buyers of English football clubs. Buy now before the rules change. It may take a few years but it could happen. Looking increasingly likely that the big West Midlands football clubs will all be Chinese (Hong Kong) -owned in the near future. This region could end up challenging London, Manchester, Liverpool, and, I nearly forgot, Leicester.

20 Jun 2016 01:57:32
Linked to Adam Armstrong, not in benitez's plans as he wants to bounce out the championship at 1st attempt. I personally would put every effort into signing him, forget Sylla, fletcher, smith.

20 Jun 2016 06:19:06
The_Wolf Armstrong would only be a loan signing not a permanent signing like Sylla so although he would be an amazing signing. We would have him for the year.
