Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to complete the surprise signing of Michael Kightly on a season-long loan.

The winger, 27, has had a torrid time since signing for Stoke City from the Molineux outfit in August 2012.

Wolves are looking to boost their wide positions with Bakary Sako highly expected to leave before the window closes and Kightly has chosen to return to the League One club rather than a move to Ipswich Town.

Don't want him back onwards and upwards!!

Meh! he has moved on, so should we. Thanks for previous efforts. Good luck with Stoke's premier league survival. My prediction for relegations from the PL are 1- Hull 2-Crystal Palace and 3-Stoke/Sunderland.

I bloody hope so! Iv missed him!

If there is any chance of this happening we should snap him up straight away.

The squad still needs strengthening, its a long season and it will get tougher.

Agreed, bring kites back and bring in any players of quality, whether brought or loaned! Weve got to get out of Div3 ASAP! Great crowd and atmosphere against gillingham, hopefully that continues. Paul Tamworth

It won't happen, our wage bill is high enough. Even if we lose Sako and Doyle we would want even half of this massive wages on the wage bill.

What happened to everyone slagging him off and calling him Judas? NOW you want him back? Unbelievable.

Don't want the Judas back he made his bed now he can lie in it.

Hes no Judas. Remember it not that long ago big Mick said he was finished and refused to give him a squad number due to injury. This lad showed real guts to prove Mick wrong. Now the problems gone bring him back.

Can't believe people are still hung up about Kightly. I can't see him coming back to Wolves but if he does then he should be given at least the respect anyone else has when then arrive. In fact more than that because he will have to bury some of his own pride too.

Fans have short memories anyway. Remember Hunt - villain to hero in a few minutes? It would be the same for Kights.

Well said Mcwolf. Can't see it happening either, but a sound temporary solution to the winger problem if Sako goes. The 'going back' comnent is just a daft knee-jerk reaction from predictable quarters.

Dont want players like kightly back at our f.c.made his name at our f.c.got him through his injury, then leaves us, could of gave us a season the trouble we were in, then could have moved on if he didn't want div.1, no time for players like him was well liked by fans when he came now the fans see him as he realy his a judas.wolfy

Bokuri has failed to agree terms for his loan move.
Jackett has told him to train with the under 21s too. Personally I think he should be given a chance. He was unlucky with injuries and has only had 4 apperances at the moment we seem to be cutting of our nose to spite our face.
We need a left winger Bokouri (when fit) is a left winger, not really rocket science.

Indeed not rocket science. I trust Kenny and his opinion though, has to be more than meets the eye. We don't get to see him train or anything, we go by what we read on the internet!

It must just be a wages thing.
DB

Kenny says that he didn't do pre-season training so he can't just go straight into the first team. That's why he's training with the youngsters, it's not some kind of punishment or suchlike. Opens the door for first team football in the future, too.

Read the article again. He's training with the U21's because he needs match training. The first team is doing physical tests and that's not what Boukari needs in order to be fit.

KJ as said that the first team was doing fitness drills today and Bokuri needed football training. That's why nothing else in it

The reason he's training with the U21s is because he hasn't trained properly at all, he needs football practice while the first team are doing fitness training at the start of the week

Okay he has played two good games for wolves and we are cutting our left arm if we sell him we don't know about his consistency! This goes for Sako and Doyle aswell as Doyle has an atrocious goal record and Sako fades through the season so yes I am one of those who thinks save the money and spend a little bit more on a younger talent that could be sold on in the future. Personally I would go for kennedy (everton) and ibe (Liverpool). If money was available I would go for hunt on a one year deal but wages permitting. he was our best player post xmas! Then we need a lb and striker if doyle goes.

Doyle is dross, he just keeps his head down and out of the way but yes he is rubbish, if he was any good he would be gone by know

Why lb we have rickets and elokobi and record as back up? I'm pretty happy at that and the back four is one of the best we've had for a whole just need experience and game time defo food enough for league 1

Lb for me as elokobi is cb cover aswell, rickets doesn't look as if he can last the season plus if we get injuries he is cb cover I would get shorey although reckford might well deserve his chance. :) This is the thing though we may be quite bare with injuries and there are question over whther the youngsters can do a whole season.
