On Friday 6 th May SM, JM, Richard Skirrow and Rita from the accounts dept met at a London hotel with a Chinese business man called Mr Lei.
The accounts dept have been putting together information for him and last week they were asked for things they had not been asked for before. These were extra projections and costs which is 'out of the ordinary' and they were told that it's all nearly at an end. One of the accounts people told me that the Chinese were more thorough than anyone had ever been before.
I have not made this up, I have been given this info from someone who is involved in gathering the info at the club.

hope this happens so wolves can start a new era.

Interesting.

19 Jun 2016 11:37:11
Good info Tommo just hope u haven't dropped your source in it.

19 Jun 2016 12:38:23
If true then excellent info just hope source is safe.

19 Jun 2016 14:35:56
I think for future reference tommo do not mention which department the source came from as club will swoop on your source faster than moxey eating his greggs pie.

ps jo cox mp may you rest in peace and deepest condolences to her family and friends.

With u on that Spanish Wolf.

I've mentioned Ding Lei a lot on here in the past as it seems the only genuine interest in the club. He made a special journey here from China around last Christmas and was seen at a couple of home matches. With these new reports, like the above, surely it can mean only one thing? His interest certainly isn't diminishing, which must mean something. There is never smoke without fire.

Oooh poor Rita from accounts! Hope she's not your source. 👎😕.

19 Jun 2016 20:26:31
Haha NO, Rita is not my source, she is safe.
My source isn't as involved as dear Rita and Rita did NOT give out the info. However, it was 100% factual. I sincerely hope it goes through as my source says money is not a problem for them!

19 Jun 2016 20:27:18
Surely tommo wouldn't use someone's first name, if the info is true!?

19 Jun 2016 20:47:38
Look 'Rita' sounds much better than using the real name . JEZ :-)

19 Jun 2016 20:56:43
I hope lovely Rita doesn't lose her job and end up as a meter maid.

19 Jun 2016 21:08:36
Absolutely Southbank76, I also mentioned Morgan, Moxey and Skirrow and my source is closer to them than Rita. I only said who was there and did not implicate Rita in anyway. Rita is a lovely woman who often tells Moxey straight when she doesn't agree with him!

19 Jun 2016 21:09:45
tommo you said "them" is ding lei in a consortium?

19 Jun 2016 21:35:30
He's worth 10.6 billion, he don't need a consortium.

20 Jun 2016 09:50:13
Hope it is true Tommy1970,the best bit of news I have heard keep us up to date with any more information.

20 Jun 2016 10:52:17
Tommo presumably was referring to Moxey-Morgan-Skirrow when he said "them", and not to Ding Lei.

Ding lei is undoubtedly in the same wealth category as the new owner of Villa. It would be a one-man consortium.

If above is true, happy days for Wolves. Birmingham takeover is supposed to be going through. Suddenly West Midlands football is looking up. I can't see a WBA takeover anytime soon. they are in the PL and priced accordingly, so no upside for a shrewd buyer. Villa and Wolves are ultimately more internationally glamorous than WBA.

20 Jun 2016 11:16:48
why would money not be problem for morgan moxey?

20 Jun 2016 11:57:43
Gee Wolf, I meant money will not be problem for Ding Lei. Deep Throat, WBA takeover by a different Chinese consortium will be completed in the next fortnight (if not this weekend) .
Obviously guys I can't say how I know this but my counterpart in West Brom says it's close.
Wolves may take a little longer but it looks as though any problems / issues have all but been ironed out.
