Ed- Holloway has now come right in on the betting have you heard anything today? {Ed001's Note - not a sausage regarding Holloway, I will ask around for you.}

Holloway distanced himself from the job last week.

Ince and Rae would make a formiddable management team. Both winners, both done well in management since leaving wolves.

All Ince has done was won the crown paint cup ,went to Blackburn and then got sacked.

Yeah ince done a great job at blackburn not he's had more clubs than nick Faldo no thanks

Odds now lengthening for Bruce and narrowing for Curbs. Bruce still odds-on, though.

Both Lee Clark & Ian Holloway have moved to 10/1 in the betting. It seems the stumbling block for both Bruce & Curbishley is that Wolves are looking at bringing in a Director of Football in the summer. But saying that both Beniztez and Lambert have moved to 15/1.

If we are throwing names in the ring lets get McLeish from the Vile he seems to like jumping ship !

Just as I warned, Wolves have no intention of appointing a permanent manager until the summer.

Both Curbs and Bruce have been left unhappy with the terms offered. They are also unhappy about being given a 13-game contract and also annoyed about the transfer restrictions (£2-3 million in Championship, £10 million in Premiership) that will be imposed during the summer should they get the job full time then.

Morgan and Moxey prioritised Curbishley, Bruce and Warnock. Now they might have to look at the other 6 candidates who were interviewed.

The next 3 in line are Lee Clark, Gordon Strachan and Paul Ince followed by Peter Reid, David O'Leary and George Graham.

I understand that Bruce and Curbishley are NOT out of the running but Wolves will have to moderate their stance.

Part of the problem is that Morgan and Moxey want to appoint a Director of Football during the summer and very few home grown managers will accept that condition because the Director will control transfer.

Some Wolves have got to learn that just because it is news you dont want to hear, it doesnt mean it has been posted by a baggies fan...

Go back to WBA forums numpty.

You cant blame them..2-3 mil..how is that enough to replace the players that are bound to leave the club when we go down..

Well i think this is a load of bull and you are a sandwell low life

You can't possibly be a baggies fan as you can spell

All seems to be back up by reasonable evidence.
Still think Curbs will get job though

Boing boing OP.

Wish someone would gag that prat adrian giles on itv 1. He just talks rubbish like any other baggies fan

Bored baggie's and the internet are a bad combo.

Since when could Albion fans read or write anyway?

They can't. Must be getting help from elsewhere!

I heard Rafa Benitez was also in the running but not likely. I think Adrian Chiles should be gagged and then given a season ticket to the wolves.

Adrian Giles should be gagged and made to watch himself on TV.

The only way I can see Rafa involved is if we appoint someone for 13 games only. That could be a lose-lose strategy if we still go down. Better to get a decent, experienced, manager now even if that risks a season in the Champ. Which means, because we can't afford Hiddink or Mourinho, it's still likely to be Curbs or Bruce.

Ed is it true that curbishley doesnt want the job anymore {Ed001's Note - not as far as I am aware.}

SSN reported this morning at about 9am that Curbishley has turned the job down.

And SSN know that nobody has been offered the job as Moxey told them saturday at 6 pm

Story from the molineux is kits have been sorted yesterday for 3 different people. In other words no discussion has been made on the new manager but they have 3 in mind. Just spoke with a member of staff and they have been told nothing soild but the feeling around the club is that Curbishly is the man most people want.

Why on earth would they waste time preparing kits for the unsuccessful candidates. What a load of rubbish.

Curbishley is crap. Are there no other DECENT managers in this country.

Curbishley is crap? how can you say that when on alimited budget much like he will have with us if what is being said is true he made Charlton a secure mid table/top ten side? and then when taking over West Ham with around 13 games remaining he managed to keep them up and then in his second season make them a top 10 side? How that makes him crap, god only knows.

Alan curbishley not turned down wolves job....fact check his twitter account he says there still in discussions fact!!. he will be our next manager i think.
UTW!!

That account's probably a fake. Was only created 2 days ago, bit of a coincidence.

He has not got a twitter account

He has not turned down the job...

Jody Craddock has been approached to make a request with the FA for a temporary license for the remaining games, on the terms that he obtains the relevant degrees and certificates over the summer to take the job full time next season

U r take-in the p

Hes already said he doesnt want it

Craddock told the local press that he wants nothing to do with management.

I think there could be some mileage in having craddock in the management team ..
He would be the ideal link between the players and the new manager especially if the new man was someone like Clark ..

Craddock doesn't want any involvement with management whatsoever - FACT

He's already said no to management... this is b/s.

No point because we need a EXPERIENCED premier league manager, maybe craddock as no 2 as he knows the club and the players

Well that's a lie cause he don't wanna be a manager

Even though he has said he has no interest in management, hmmm

Craddock has clearly stated he has no interest at all in management. When he retires he just wants to concentrate on his art work.
That is fact

roy keane had to leave early tonight and could not continue with his role as pundit on itv as he had to attend a second meeting with wolves jez moxey and steve morgan. wolves are said to be impressed with the irish mans interview in london earlier this week, they believe the irish connection could be vital for survival.

Keane was in italy doing the arsenal game when they were doing the first interviews

I'm afraid to say that papers are speculating what i knew to be true last week, he wasn't in italy at all he was in london being interviewed and rumour has it that niall quinn will be joining him as director of football.
