In other news the league one FFP has a loophole - "The Football League has implemented a system in League One where only 60 per cent of a club's turnover can be spent on players' wages. Wolves have been in discussions with the Football League over the issue and believe that they will be compliant.
It appears that players who signed contracts of three years or over are exempt from the calculations.
This means the likes of the Black Country club's top earners - players such as Jamie O'Hara, Roger Johnson and Kevin Doyle - all of whom put pen-to-paper during the club's spell in the Premier League, will be excluded.
Joe Kinnear got Luton relegated when he was manager there. Forest got relegated after he quit and the damage was already done.

Wolves reject bid from Hibernian for striker Leigh Griffiths. Wolves reiterate that Griffiths is not for sale at any price.
Just read that too. I suppose Hibs had to make their best offer to do themselves justice. But that will still be way below Moxey's valuation.
Hibs now admit their chances of signing Leigh are finished.
Until the end of next season when he goes back on a free. maybe

They did have to try. They were never going to be able to bid enough.
I'd say their chances of signing him this summer are finished. But he's potentially out of contract next summer. So if he decides he wants to head north I expect Hibs will be top of the list.
Getting a bit ahead of myself there. talking about next summer already! What am I playing at!
Celtic will likely need a striker, and one that scores goals, so don't be surprised to see a bid from them for leigh
His wages will be low, so just the kind of person Wolves need just now.
A January transfer window bid is a possibility, though. Or maybe he'll like it here more than he thinks and sign a longer contract.

No player in their right mind would sign a new deal at Wolves in his position, he holds all the cards and will get a lot more offers before the window closes.
I read that KJ called him just before the Scotland match to wish him luck. I'm starting to like KJ already.
