I'm hearing news coming out of Molineux that is suggesting that Kevin Doyle is on the verge of joining Cardiff City for a fee in the region of £1.8m. Also that Roger Johnson will leave on loan to a as yet unnamed club. I have also heard that Wolves have offered a complicated new deal to Bakary Sako. It involves him taking a substantial drop in wages for the rest of this season. BUT. If we get promoted he will have his wages made back up to his original deal and have it back dated over the season. He would then return to his original deal back in the championship. If we fail to go up then the club would be prepared to let him leave for substantially less than they would be looking for now. It is believed that Sako is indeed giving the offer some thought. I know that seems a bit complicated but from the source I have heard it from I believe it to be genuine.
Scoopy Wolf.
Sounds hopefull
Keep 'em both. Get rid of OHara and RJ & do everything possible to keep Doyle & Sako

The op started well but too much info in one rumour post makes the whole lot unbelievable.
We can't lose sako and Doyle. I think jacket will try to keep them both and get rid of RJ and JOH. with £16 million parachute money surely we can afford 2 players wages. a couple more signings are essential for our season. 4/5 injuries our SQUAD would be very light. Gornalwolves
Thank you for making this the most elaborate rumour ever.
You have to look at things from Doyle's point of view - he's no spring chicken and really needs to be playing Premier League football at his career stage. For me, Sako is the more valuable to keep. For all his workrate Doyle doesn't score enough and could be getting into positions that Griffiths or others e.g. Cassidy would finish from. For me Ziggy and esp Cassidy are the way ahead
Worst case scenario: we get relegated. If Kevin Doyle leaves, Cardiff's the only place he should go
If Doyle is on £35 - 40 k per week with us, are Cardiff going to match that? Or Celtic? If he stays there's a better than reasonable chance he'll be playing championship football next season. And he'll probably be £1 mill+ better off staying with us.
I'd say not a few of the lads are finding out the economic realities of football life outside of wolves.

Not sure why Doyle would attract a premier league club his goalscoring has been hopeless. However he is an asset to us in this league with his workrate and ability to make chances for others. Need to keep him and Sako and make sure of promotion. Stone Wolf.
Doyle will be better off at Cardiff, they are a prem club after all
Not for long mate!!
What does Red Bird think of Doyle going to Cardiff? Haven't seen him on here for a while. I just hope Doyle is enjoying being in good form for us and the Jackett Revolution has swayed him.
Ok then Doyle will be better off in the championship, that's still a league higher than league 1 wolves
Jackett has asked to keep Doyle and Sako, looks like the board will back him til January window.if we are in a good position they will see the season out.
Not a wolves fan but trawl these sites as my nephew is on the move from his current club (high championship) a complex transfer is being talked about with both Ohara and Johnson with two players moving the other way.
Wolves bid 600k for Dutch u-21 winger Guus Hupperts from FC Roda.
High championship? Giz a clue
If we don't get up with this lot kenny will need a full metal,,,,,,
"Not a Wolves fan" - is your surname Barton?
Bid for Hupperts looks like plans for life without Sako.
Still visiting this site with interest and am pleased with Wolves start. Not sure about Doyle one way or the other but we need some divine intervention against Manchester city on Sunday. I think I'll be watching from behind the settee.
