First time on page ,,, I thought even though we lost we tried to play football which was lacking under McCarthy ,, I feel if we continue trying to play football and bring in some creative players we will be a force ,,, shame milijas is going that type of football is crying out for him {Ed007's Note - Welcome to the site.}
Frailty of back 4 on show for all to see. Needs sorting fast. Thankfully Jarvis played made us look a lot better than we were. Henry looked solid. Doumbia was at odds. Forde nowhere near as good as hamill or kightly. New poszan geezer looks class.
Was there today and boy did we miss Flech...... do not accept £15Mill we aren't goin up without him. We have to make him stay...... there were crosses today that Fletch would have finished, just like he used to last season..... We really have to keep him. UTW

Mccarthy got the sack coz he couldn't sort the defence out today was probably the worst I ve seen us defend in 10 years. We cannot play so far up the pitch especially when all our defenders are slower than moxey. If he persists in playing a high line we will be in a relegation fight
New signings looked quality. Too many players still playing McCarthy hoof ball. Need a cb and 2 full backs. If we get o hara fit this system is perfect for him. Stale will make us a very good team if he gets the time he needs
It's just one game out of a 46 game season! Reading started poorly last season and won the league and blues had a poor start but picked up after Christmas!
We won the opening game last season and look where we finished! We will be ok but time and patience will be required why Solbakken sorts his team out plus in the championship you can loan players throughout the season!
To all those that say well Jarvis and Fletcher took us down I think it was a collective effort and they sure as hell would help to get us back up. We are in the Championship and like it or not MM put together a team that won that league and the players left are as good if not better than those that took us up - simples and over to you Solbakken.
Ikeme was useless, Same old Johnson at the back. Zubar was ok. Sig, doumbia and peszko will be useless in this league!
On a good note, ward and stearman looked solid, Henry created chances, forde will set the right on fire this season. And Doyle and Blake provided that cutting edge and should have scored. Atleast the high line looked like it works
Are you for real, Ikeme commanded the goal, and Peszko was a class act he will thrive in this league, Stearman and ward need to go, and Johnson starting to look good!!
What game did you watch? Stearman and ward again looked utterly useless.up front lacked any edge for gods sake buy a defence a creative midfield player and a goalscorer or mid table at best!

To the person 2 posts up: What are you talking about? Peszco I think was the best player on our team that day, he gave us a lot more chance than forde did ! Siggy I think still needs time. E banks was alright but I was a little disappointed in Doyle thought he had a few opportunities but gave them away.
