Wolves have 2 plans in place for next season as regards playing staff, depending on which division we are in (obviously). Should Wolves stay up DS believes that the players that have under performed this season will not do the same next season under his leadership. Therefore there will be little change in the playing staff, the addition of a central midfielder and a striker to cover SEB will be the only changes, add to that the permanent deal for Gorkss and the possibility of getting Robinson in on loan for the season and that will be that. There will be very little, if any money made available. DS will be dealing in the loan/free markets, with the money to purchase Gorkss already agreed and rubberstamped.
If Wolves are relegated expect to larger changes. ALL higher wage earners will be sold off cheaply with some even having there contracts cancelled as happened with Moyokolo and Zubar. This will leave spaces in the Senior squad to be filled by our younger reserve/U21 squad. with the addition of whatever loan/free transfers that can be bought in. There will be no money made available for transfer fees if Wolves are relegated. If we do go down expect to see a starting X1 in Div1 containing - Batth, Reckford, Price, Evans, Ismail, Cassidy and McAlindon.
Sorry for the long message but I have just heard this direct from an employee at Molineux so I thought I would share it.

If this is true, and while it would be a disaster to go down, some might say every cloud has a silver lining. Personally I think there will be some major changes irrespective of which division we are in. I think Tuesdays team show some solidity minus Ward Johnson, Doyle in there place Bahtt, SEB and A and Other. But survival first - I would rather be rebuilding in Championship than L1

Agree there will be little or no money but I rekon there will be quite a few out the door even if we stay up. I don't see this team suddenly setting the championship alight

Let's just stay up! In the summer we may have new investment, a new manager or a new owner? Maybe all three? Paul Tamworth

How can you say Johnson was a weakness in that squad on Tuesday and not add Henry who was the worst player by far all game. Johnson had a sloppy first half but the defnece were outstanding in the secound half including Johnson who through there bodies at everything

Just been on the Charlton site, the team is full of lower league players. Cannot see how they have got results such as at Barnsley. We have got to stand a chance.

If the' two plans ' guy above is correct then we really are doomed. The current players are not good enough, the idea that everything will be fine next season with largely the same squad will put us back in a relegation dogfight. If we go down and they cut and cut and rely on the kids then we will struggle in the third tier of English football. They will still have £16m in parachute money next season, we should be at least £10m up on player trading this season and a net of £14m circa profits from the previuos 3 seasons should still be available. If they fail to spend decent money next season whatever division we are in, then this really is Bhatti mark2 and we will struggle for the forseeable future.

I've heard some strong rumours, implying that Morgan has gotten wwfc into some very sizeable debt, borrowing money against the club to fund other ventures, building, land acquisition etc, like I said, a rumour but it would explain the lack of transfer activity, if this is the case, what happened to the "well run club" he and Moxey were happy to bleat on about a while ago. I'm beginning to think this guy is going to run us into the ground in order to line his own pockets. New owners I think are in order.

Lets be honest, I think we all know there will be little funds made available whatever division we are in. But we all know (And the Manager/Board) that certain players are going to moved out because they are the high earners and have not been able to deliver the goods, Henry, Ward, Berra, Folley etc. We will introduce more of the yougsters along with Batth/Dougherty/Davies etc. We will then have a good mix of experience and youth.

Difficult to believe the rumours re Morgan's debt. Regardless what we think of his abilities in running a football club he runs a tight property business. Profits are on the up and property sales continue to improve. With his experience of the cash-flow issues involved in property development he would be crazy to over extend.

First things first, 3 matches to go, getting results from these is the single most important priority right now. As many on here have said - everything else follows from where we are in the League at c 5. 00 pm, 4 May. wolfshead.

Well said wolfshead let's all pray and back us 100 percent to which as deano said (and actuly made sense for a change) were out the bottom three and if we win are next three games we stay up so come on mighty wolves

Why Johnson not Henry - read my post RJ continually gave the ball away in dangerous areas. He cost us a fortune in wages and we have a replacement in Bahtt. KH is different, when playing well he protects the back four, two good feet and cares about wolves. He has been poor this season and he admits it. He does need creativity around him. Finally I like him and bias.

Morgan isn't using money from wolves to prop up other interested - It is against company law. He even buys items from the shop. Move on and stop being malicious.

I agree Danny should be playing but should be playing instead of gorks with Johnson. And Henry is always disappointing al he can do is tackle and get booked. If you thing that's good especially from a so called captain your crazy. We have also won more games this year without him in the squad and without him being captain needs moving on

Morgan hasn't put the club in debt, just pure and utter sh#t fabricated by unhappy fans. Hasn't he just acquired more land in Wolverhampton too?

Try getting finance package together when your in this so called debt and you'd find its a no-no!

Money spent in recent years isn't Wolves problem, the problem was how it was spent!

Stay up and we don't need an overhaul, just freshening up. Bruce said the other day it just shows how close the championship is after defeat.

IF we stay up, siggy, sako and doumbia will have had a season and pre season here, hopefully we will finally see boukari too and I'm happy with Robinson and Doherty so not a lot to change in my eyes! Maybe a CB (Batth), striker and a good CM.

Can't see how this lot in charge have any plans at all.
