I hear mr blobby is on the list as well as Charlie dimmock and alan tichmarsh. they contacted anne robinson but all she could see was there was weak links everywhere at the club. they contacted paul tamworth but he declined because he said he might show himself up as being an excellent coach.

IMO, this is all becoming a little bit of a joke, why not back lambert, give him a season if he doesn't impress then so be it, a lot of fans thought last season they should of backed jackett with money behind him, no its time to back lambert, personally i'm not a fan of him, don't like his style or the image he shows ( negatively sitting on the bench when team needs rallying) but just like all of us that exist, it's pretty rubbish to be sacked for no real reason. But saying that we don't know what was in his contract, could of been something about 6 months trial or he could of bigged himself up to much in his interview and failed on what he said, as let's face it, we don't know what goes on behind closed doors!
However, regardless of who he plays I will always back the team, wether that being Edwards, batth etc.

Christian herc set to go on load to oxford next season and Ennis to Chorley on loan.

I'd give him another season. dunno what games you go to when you say he's sat on the bench when the team needs rallying because every game I've seen he's out in the technical area kicking every ball and encouraging.

Dappa from my perspective, he hasn't has time to make his own squad but as I said, Not a fan of him tactics and style wise, doesn't mean I don't necessarily dislike him.

Timtoo44, I go to every home game as a season ticket holder and atleast 50% of away games due to work commitments, he is passionate and does where his heart on his sleeves majority of the time, BUT. There has been games such as Wigan, Rotherham, Blackburn amongst others when he has sat on the bench and maybe a good 20 mins with no movement. Which these are the games I am pinpointing. The type of games you need a tactical sub, the manager to be pushing the players, how many time did he wait until late on to change things. Zenga was good with making early subs if needed, jackett was the same a lambert. A lot a people will agree with me when I say, it's not necessarily that I dislike him, but he plays rubbish football, without costa in that team we're limited. Which shouldn't be the case. Even with costa the tactics were poor.

Although Karanka meant to play boring football too but who knows.

I now what your saying pal but come on 451 playing mfs at full back savil wide left and rav on bench ect. Jackson and des in under 23s never once tryed 5 at the back with proper center half's there. williamson house sters ect. how many times did sters play right back under mad mick. playing dicko on his own then from keeper to back 4 just lumping it up to him. why his he not shouting on touch line. allways playing Edwards savil ect it was a joke. first 6 games he said he loves Jack price week in week out then he can't even get on bench the last 7 games. he's a yes msn.

If the E&S artical is correct and Fosun are looking at the whole structure of the club then that must be a good thing. I still think however that some sort of statement should be made even if it is not the full monty. I just hope that they are also looking at the squad and the numerous players that need to leave as the last thing we need is another bomb squad. Regards all.

We can't afford another season of mediocrity if we keep lambert in charge I agree they r waiting till next week I don't think we lose out on transfer mendes has probably got that mostly sorted.

To be honest I was not convinced with Lambert with is team selections either Hallowwolf, especially at home the football was dire, playing one up front at home was asking for trouble when Wolves fans are brought up on attacking football.
So it looks like we move on, hope Fosun get it right this time and clear out the dead wood and believe me there is a lot of dead wood at our club even the likes of Rob Edwards, Thellwell and Daley there job situations need to be looked at, but I believe that Fosun have seen the football played and have come to the conclusion that the football is nowere near good enough for were they want to be and I fully agree 100%, got this feeling that Fosun will get it right this time and clear the decks.

Here's a thought. who performed better in the Championship between Jackett and Lambert?

Jacketts second season with McDonald, Sako and Afobe was as close as we've got to promotion via the playoffs. Jackett's final season was tough given lack of investment and the worst luck with injuries.

Lambert inherited a large squad with a few stand out players. He managed to add Weimann and Marshall. You couldn't be more inconsistent than the last 6 months. With the players at Lambert disposal compared to the previous season with Jackett should Wolves have finished closer to the playoffs?
