Karl Henry & Kevin Foley will sign for Ipswich before the new season as the clear out begins at Molineux. Wolves are hoping to sign experienced midfield man Stephen McPhail and striker David McGoldrick off Nottingham Forest. Also the new head coach will be announced within the next two weeks with Roy Keane currently in pole position.

I dearly hope not. Roy Keane was a quality player. But a 2nd rate manager and a 3rd rate pundit.

And Stephen McPhail? What happened to all the "lets use our youth" then?

No ta

Yea he was top class player and I hope he's not appointed as head coach but maybe it's ideal situation to become top class manager! Either way I think well get Gary Johnson when Yeovil lose in the playoffs

Sako will shortly be confirmed a Fulham player in the not to distant future. Gorkss has returned to Reading and Wolves will not take up option of signing him permanently, this despite the Royals showing serious interest in RJ. Doyle will certainly leave but destination is still undecided however Leeds and the Royals seem in pole position. With one already gone back to parent club, two confirmed exits and another strongly linked away from club the exodus has begun. let's hope Henry, Ward and JOH are the next to be confirmed that there future lies away from the club. Looks like Thelwell, etc - are going to be busy this summer. On a seperate note I understand that many of the U21's are privately contented with the relegation outcome, they obviously know their chances are around the corner now in Div 1.

I though Gorkss held the option - to sign for Wolves if he wanted to. Clearly Reading reserves sounds like a better option for him than L1 with Wolves.

Sako will leave and I really hope he gets a Premier club, preferably with a continental-style manager, where he could do well.

Sako distanced himself from any move via a micro blogging website. Well any move for now.

Micro-blogging site. Is that aimed at the vertically challenged.

Thank god gorkss has gone he was rubbish without the ball and even worse with it.
he was slow and couldent pass water.
WHY DID WE EVEN GET HIM

Griffiths won't be playing for wolves next year he's told the board he wants to leave regardless of manager and wolves don't want a unhappy player at the club! Extended his contract to get a fee

Total rubbish. he as already stated he as unfinnished buisness at wolves and wants to show the fans what he can do. go away sandwell boy

As if you actually know this for a fact. Mere unhelpful speculation; I'll wait to hear the true outcome of Griffiths' meetings with the club people.

Funny that because I heard that if he fails to play he will be held in the reserves until contract is finished

Hibs fan- leigh griffiths has said he has unfinished bitvess in england but want to stay at hibs

Mansfield Town star Matt Green.

linked to wolves and a host of other cubs

This must be the Matt Green we let go on a free transfer a couple of seasons ago. That was a relief.

Matt green has never played for wolves {Ed003's Note - If you look at the posters tag you will realise he is a Cardiff fan.}

This just sums up the knowledge of some people on here. I didn't make this original post but the second comment just shows how people just like to moan.
Matt Green has never been on our books. Born in Bath his clubs include Bristol City academy, Newport County, Cardiff City, Darlington (loan), Oxford United, Torquay United, Cheltenham Town (loan) and Mansfield Town.
So unless he played for us carrying a rattle and a dummy- you are wrong {Ed003's Note - same reply as to the other post.}

It's funny how you've gone to all that trouble researching his previous clubs! if you read the post carefully it's from redbird (a cardiff fan) and yes well done your research has confirmed he did play for cardiff!!

Don't Cardiff wear blue? ;)

He's a Cardiff fan who follows the wolves, get off your soap boxes!

And aren't Cardiff going to be called "Dragons" now too? Will Redbird become Reddragon?

Hope you don't mind all this attention Redbird. Most of us know you're a Cardiff fan and you post some good stuff on these boards.

In fairness, my first post was misleading. Apologies. No, we are still the bluebirds, just about. But as I am going to take in a few Wolves matches next season (don't have a season ticket for us) my future contributions may be more meaningful. Plus increase my chances of watching a winning team!

My mate just told me that they are looking at Phil Brown even though he's not long gone to Southend? Anyone else heard that?

Your mate must be drug addled and hard of hearing.

Leigh Griffiths gets a one year contract exteension!

Only so he can be sold for a price rather than free. He will not be playing for wolves next year guaranteed

Wolves already had this in place - they've just activated it to ensure that we get a sell on fee if he doesn' t want to play for us

Does this mean we'll actually play him? Can't see the point of extending his contract and then loaning him out again. Also he must be worth more to us as a proven goal scorer than the minimal amount we could sell him for.

Nice to see the boo boys back already, how long has our campaign been over? There has been people on here crying for Griffiths now he has the contract extension it is because of financial reasons, nothing to do with the fact he is banging them in for fun in Scotland?

He will play for us next season. He as stated he as unfinished business at wolves and wants the chance to show us fans what he can do. Grt news

Saunders didn't rate him for some reason. BIG mistake - he's the real deal

Why is it boo boys? I would say its just cold hard facts, he has just knocked in near 30 goals and can play in europe next season, who can blame him for wantung more?

You're right not boo boys, just people bemoaning Griffiths return, saying it's just for ££££

I wasn't "boo-boying". I was trying to make the point that I hope he's back to play and not for any other reason. I for one can't wait to see him don the shirt.

Whether it's for £££ or to play, it's right to keep him on. Anyone disagree with that?

I'd love to see him and Cassidy up front they would destroy league 1, just can't see it happening, I think he'll be back in the SPL at hibs or Celtic

Need four strikers to choose from. Cassidy, Griffiths, Mcalinden and Siggy.

Chris powell, is being heavily linked to the wolves job. This will be confirmed in the E&S later. JT

Chris powell. 5/1 where the hell, did that come from?

Fair play if we get Chris Powell, Charlton fans will be in bits! Paul Tamworth

E&s reports, wolves will have to pay compo, to millwall iff jackett gets the job, so hopefully that jackett out?

I hope you get Powell. McLaren and Jackett are only marginally better than Deano.

Redbird

Jacket odds shortening, will we never learn?

Blimey we must be desperate giving players away before we get a manager

People need to realise the odds change primarily based on money lumped on, as its not a massive market regarding wolves a bet of say a grand will have a large impact on any managers odds.
