Lambert wouldn't have brought in Ruddy, Hanley, Lawrence and Abraham anyway. Thelwell wouldn't have allowed that, he would insist on about 4 or 5 unknowns from league 1 or 2 hoping for the best but not really believing.
When we talk about mendes influencing transfers we have it anyway with Thelwell over lambert, difference is thelwell insists on doing our shopping in charity shops.

I don't believe that Fosun have offered PL anything more than his P45. This is what I think might be happening I read somewhere that PL contract runs out in June so are Fosun waiting till then to name there new HC? Maybe there's a big pay out to PL if they terminate his contract before June? Fosun may already have a new HC lined up ( Karanka ) who his working hard behind the scenes with Mendes? No one knows what is going on at the club, everything is speculation. But, why is it taking so long to announce PLs departure, if he has been sacked? Why has nobody clicked on to the Carlos Carvahal story?
His contract has been agreed to be terminated at the end of the season with both parties agreed to move on. He's a mendes client and the reason of the delay is simple, the play offs probably all disclosed and nothing coming out of any camp but I firmly believe he wants a new challenge Wolves appeal to him with money and fan base then you have the mendes factor and I think fosun will be attracted to someone who's reached the play offs twice.

If it is Karanka why wait to announce? He is unemployed so no reason to wait. I would be astonished if Silva came here. He didn't fancy coming in October, so as an ambitious guy surely he is waiting for the prem or a big foreign club to come calling. Also he is not part of the Mendes stable so would not necessarily want players picked for him.
Lambert seemed OK Wed night so a pretty big spanner was thrown into the works on Thursday- but by whom?
Every day lost now means the impetus on recruitment and restructuring slows down when we should be hitting the ground running.
Don't care about making changes but just get on with it so that the squad are in place for preseason.
